However, since the Governor’s group hadn’t made a move, the Flaming Firebird refrained from attacking them.
Lord Governor’s guards grew tense, their hands reached inside their jackets, tightly gripping the handgun’s grip; everything before them had surpassed their imagination, one guard discreetly pressed the communication button concealed in his pants.
The previously arrogant members of the Bordeaux planet were now on the ground, calling out, their earlier audacious spirit had entirely vanished.

She stepped in front of the Governor’s lover, staring directly into her eyes, speaking word by word: "I won’t sell this bird!"

"Didn’t you hear her insulting me earlier?" Ba Lv questioned the Governor.
The Governor indeed heard his lover insulting her, but he didn’t consider it a serious matter.
"Have her apologize to me!" Ba Lv calmly stated, "I don’t wish to make things difficult for her, but she must apologize!"
"Just a misunderstanding earlier, let’s leave it at that," Lord Governor attempted to dismiss the issue with a laugh.
"It can’t be left at that."
Thus she insisted that the Governor’s lover apologize for her earlier insults.
However, the Governor and his lover didn’t share her view, especially the Governor, as a person of authority and influence, asking his people to apologize to a civilian was simply unthinkable.
So, the Governor tried to laugh it off, hoping to sweep the matter under the rug.
In truth, he thought his attitude toward a civilian was already considerable.
Despite the little beauty’s strong stance, he still didn’t take her seriously, even with her two accomplices, whereas in Bordeaux he held more sway than these extraterrestrial people.
Backed by the Governor, his lover became emboldened, poking her head from behind the Governor, sneering: "So what if I insulted you? Request my apology, who do you think you are?"
Ba Lv reached out her hand, pointing at her, about to say something when the Governor’s guard interrupted: "Don’t move!" while trying to push her hand away.

"You, grown men, using guns and weapons against a young girl, have you no shame?" Jiang Cheng scolded the guard sharply; meanwhile, his hand holding the gun gently shook, causing the firearm to disassemble, scattering parts onto the ground with clinking sounds.
