The handsome young monk not only overturned the perception of monks held by the Peacock Great Bright King but also the scene unfolding before Ye Tianchen. It seems this Young Buddha must have challenged the understanding of the whole Martial Arts World’s elites back in the day!

The Peacock Great Bright King originally discovered a village of several hundred people and was delighted at the find. However, just when it was about to feast on them, it noticed a young monk sitting cross-legged atop a nearby mountain. At that time, the Peacock Great Bright King had not realized this young monk was the Young Buddha. Only Ye Tianchen, who had witnessed the events from the start, knew that the one sitting on the mountain trying to stop the Peacock Great Bright King was indeed the Young Buddha. His presence subverted many perceptions and was extremely shocking!

What surprised the Peacock Great Bright King most was hearing the approximately teenaged young monk chant scriptures. Unknowingly drawn in, it stopped in its tracks, listening intently for over an hour, regardless of how dull or boring it might have seemed. This undeniable experience highlighted the terror and mystery of Buddhist Law!

Nonetheless, this couldn’t possibly halt the Peacock Great Bright King, as it was a Demon Clan powerhouse. Within the Demon Clan, the Peacock Clan was akin to a royal family, barely rivaled by any other species, as they were descendants of the "Immortal Phoenix."

Moreover, there was anger within the Peacock Great Bright King. Consuming humans had been its survival method for years, devouring countless humans, even powerfully daring Martial Artists of the Human Clan who meddled, if defeated, were eaten. Now standing before it was a teenaged young monk, no matter his background or strength, he was still only a Human Clan Practitioner in his teens. When the Peacock Great Bright King rose to fame within the Demon Clan, this young monk had not even been born; attempting to stop it was sheer folly, ignorance of limits and the vastness of heaven!

As the Peacock Great Bright King completely destroyed this Buddha Hand Seal, preparing to devour the hundreds below, the young monk finally descended the mountain, arriving before the Peacock Great Bright King in the blink of an eye, blocking its way. Already enraged, the Peacock Great Bright King saw this teen monk as a mere child yet wished to stop it, a futile death wish!

Bang!

One slap landed, yet the young monk stood motionless, giving the Peacock Great Bright King pause, furrowing its brow. The hand reached his head yet halted, encountering such a person who remained unfazed by the assault, as though awaiting death!

"You’re quite remarkable, I really want to know what’s on your mind right now!" the Peacock Great Bright King coldly laughed while asking.

"I’ve already said, I’ve come to persuade Ming King to cease indiscriminate killing, to stop eating people!" the young monk replied earnestly.

"Is this preaching to me?" retorted the Peacock Great Bright King with a furrowed brow.

"No, I’m reasoning with you!" affirmed the young monk with a nod.

"Reasoning? Hahaha, in this ruthless and bloody Martial Arts World, only the victor reigns while the defeated are obliterated; for survival, creatures do anything, still speak of reason? It’s a colossal joke!" laughed the Peacock Great Bright King with disdain.

"Precisely due to the brutal Magic Law of Martial Arts World, many ignore reason. If everyone upheld reason, would such Magic Law exist? We can change it!" said the young monk resolutely.

"Changing Martial Arts World’s Magic Law? That’s defying Heaven! Though many struggle against destiny, who truly achieved defying Heaven?" wondered the Peacock Great Bright King with a furrowed brow.

"Defying Heaven, to me, isn’t breaking the sky with fists. Even if you break the sky and enter the Immortal Domain, how does that help? It’s just escaping alone; perhaps Immortal Domain is even crueler. True defiance transforms this world’s Magic Law, changes all!" disagreed the young monk with a shake of his head.

The Peacock Great Bright King furrowed its brow, noticing the young monk’s Mental Realm differed from many in the world, at least it was its first time hearing such ideas, theories marveled, even some admiration arose for this teen monk’s insight and Mental Realm!

"Oh, reasoning, intriguing. How about reasoning with you? If you win, I won’t eat the villagers and will follow you as my master; if you lose, bring people daily for me to consume!" retorted the Peacock Great Bright King coldly.

Despite the Peacock Great Bright King’s words, the young monk remained composed, understanding if reasoning was offered, this opportunity was given, though it was cruel, forcing a monk to capture people daily was more brutal than death or destruction.

"Please, Ming King, give your reasoning!" nodded the young monk.

The Peacock Great Bright King snickered before speaking derisively, "This world’s Magic Law is survival of the fittest; all living things form a food chain. Born into this world, creatures accept its Magic Law, otherwise they can’t exist here!"

"Ming King is mistaken, I haven’t accepted this world’s Magic Law yet was born here. While I haven’t changed its Magic Law, I’ll never give up, continuing my efforts!" disagreed the young monk, shaking his head.

"Regardless, you think you can spread your philosophy throughout the Martial Arts World?" queried Peacock Great Bright King with a furrowed brow. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

"Life is immortal, preaching never ends!" proclaimed the young monk.

"Living things form food chains; you hinder my feeding, I starve, what then?" scoffed the Peacock Great Bright King with a smile.

The young monk furrowed his brow yet calmly replied, "I came to counsel Ming King not to feed on humans, not hinder you. If hindering must occur, we would conflict in battle, but fighting doesn’t solve your feeding dilemma!"

"How then will you solve this problem?" prodded the Peacock Great Bright King coldly.

"Should Ming King need to kill to quell rage, kill me; should Ming King demand to eat to thwart hunger, eat me!" the young monk resolutely proposed.

"So be it, I wonder if you have such bravery to sacrifice for others. If I devour you and you survive without fleeing, I’ll follow you lifelong, guard your teachings; what say?" questioned Peacock Great Bright King derisively.

"Amitabha Buddha," intoned the young monk, hands forming a seal, softly chanting Buddha’s name.

Bang!

The Peacock Great Bright King, undoubtedly a ruthless killer, debated longer due to interesting opposition met for the first time. Nevertheless, having toyed with the monk, it planned decisive action without delay, numerous villagers awaited consumption after all!

One strike aimed at the young monk’s head held enough force to crush mountains; connecting might eradicate him instantly, body exploding on impact!

Suddenly, the Peacock Great Bright King halted, observing his steadfastness without flinching. It furrowed its brow, sneering, "Unafraid of death, huh? Now, consuming you elevates my strength further!"

Swoosh!

With that, the Peacock Great Bright King opened its mouth, swallowing the young monk whole. Being a massive peacock capable of blocking sunlight, devouring a teen was effortless, and the young monk’s resistance was futile; its consumption, unstoppable. With one gulp, the Peacock Great Bright King eyed the tranquil village below, filled with kind and simple folk, yet its gaze grew fierce, intending to devour all, even newborns wouldn’t escape its voracious appetite...
