Chapter 1722: Two Fists
Evelyn looked at the two enemies. There were two aliens, one looked like a mutated bear, while the other one looked like a plant in a pot, but instead of leaves, it grew tentacles.
Evelyn took a deep breath. She said, "Alavenya, come with me. Vivian, you go support Noelle."
Vivian nodded, while Noelle said, "In that case, I will take on the plant-looking one. Do you think you can fight them, Vivian?"
"I should be able to handle it for a bit, but don’t rely too much on me. These two aliens are much stronger than any of us here."
"That’s good enough." Noelle immediately rushed toward the alien. Vivian followed right behind.
"In that case, let’s go, Venya." Evelyn nodded to Alavenya.
"I will try to survive and create an opportunity for you. Make sure you grab that chance." Alavenya rushed first.
She summoned all her familiars, including Chiyou.
"It looks like we’re going to have a rough time." Chiyou grinned, becoming even more excited.
"Good." Alavenya smiled.
The massive bear bent its body, slamming both paws toward Alavenya and her familiars.
After their evolutions, Alavenya’s familiars might not reach the realm of gods, but they had enough power to pack some punch.
Alavenya and Chiyou split up, taking on one paw each.
Alavenya took a deep breath, remembering how her father used the Dragon Fist.
She had her own way, but she tried to upgrade it even more.
"Dragon Fist!" Alavenya leaped up and punched toward the bear. Her fist didn’t become a dragon anymore. It punched much harder than the Dragon Fist, forming a deafening sound like thunder.
The energy swirled and formed a translucent dragon that swallowed the alien’s arm before exploding.
Meanwhile, Chiyou also used his own ability, assisted by several familiars, to knock the arm back.
Thanks to their efforts, the bear’s body was knocked back.
"!!!" The alien was quite surprised that Alavenya could produce such power. The bear was as tall as two hundred meters after all. The difference in size was equal to the difference in power.
Yet, the alien was losing. To prevent Alavenya from making another attack, the bear opened its mouth and sent forth multiple tentacles to keep them busy.
However, this was the time Evelyn appeared. Evelyn teleported herself to the top of the bear’s head.
She concentrated all her strength into the tip of her fist.
Then, Evelyn punched the bear’s head.
The punch cracked the void as the surge of void flowed to apply even more pressure on the bear. Her gravity element bent everything so that the force would be concentrated on the head.
The bear felt the impact and fell down. Its upper body gradually fell to the ground, shaking the entire area.
Alavenya smiled wryly. Even though she had progressed quite a lot, she was still not strong enough to produce such a power.
"I guess that’s why she’s one of the strongest right now..." Alavenya obviously didn’t want to lose, but she prioritized the alien first.
Without wasting any chance, Alavenya looped around, ready to attack the bear from the sides.
Chiyou matched her movement, trying to entrust her with the decision.
However, when they were about to attack, they noticed an incoming presence from beneath their feet.
"!!!" Large tentacles emerged from the ground.
"Gah!" Alavenya spat a mouthful of blood from the impact as the tentacle launched her into the sky.
Fortunately, she had a fusion with Xing Tian, allowing her body to recover quickly, so when other tentacles came, she was recovered enough to avoid them.
On the other hand, Chiyou was able to stop the tentacle even though the momentum still pushed him into the air.
When other tentacles came, he skillfully slashed them in succession. The rest of the familiars were barely avoiding them, but it was more than enough to distract the bear.
Evelyn gathered her power again. This was the best chance to injure the bear as much as possible, hoping that it would be enough to force it to go berserk.
However, the bear was actually prepared for it. It flipped its body with the remaining tentacle, which startled Evelyn.
Evelyn punched down, but the bear also released its energy, causing the two attacks to clash.
Despite having its tentacles stopping Alavenya, the bear actually had enough power to neutralize her attack.
"Three divine rules are not enough?" Evelyn frowned. She was one of the few people who didn’t request Nathan’s help in getting a new familiar. After all, she already had enough familiars.
Still, it was indeed quite hard because the other familiars could barely fight against the alien. It would be different if she had one or two true gods.
However, this was a choice she had made.
Her familiars released their respective attacks to help her, but it wasn’t enough. That was why Evelyn chose to improve herself further.
Her eyes turned bloodshot as the energy around her fist started to swirl.
She compressed her gravity even further so that the energy released by the alien started to bend according to her gravity.
"Haaaa!" Evelyn let out a cry as she tore the barrier apart and punched the bear on the chest.
Bam!
The punch was so powerful that a massive crater swallowed the bear. The energy was dispersed to the area, including the sky.
Alavenya raised her head and muttered, "Yep. I know that’s going to happen."
The cloud was swirling as though it were also being pulled by her fist.
"I can’t lose." Alavenya gathered her power. Evelyn’s punch was truly painful for the bear, causing the tentacles to stop moving. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
She took this opportunity to land on the ground and rushed toward the bear. After meeting Evelyn, Alavenya had been training her body with the same method as Evelyn.
When she closed her eyes, she could feel the punch that broke the cliff even without her energy. A pure physical strength that was similar to Fenrir’s absolute force.
What she wanted to destroy was not the outer layer of the cliff, but the inner structure of the cliff that made it brittle and let it collapse from within.
So, Alavenya stopped right next to the bear and punched its right side. "Dragon Soaring in the Heavens."
The fist looked like it didn’t do anything to the bear. But one second later, the bear’s right chest bloated as though it were filled with gas. Then, it popped like a balloon as a dragon emerged from within.
This was Alavenya’s new power. The only way to catch up to the others was not by external power, but by the ability to destroy what was inside. There were some restrictions, but the power of this fist was visible to everyone.
