Chapter 1595: Chapter 1595: That Heartless Woman

Oh my god!

Is this for real?

The little bun’s eyes lit up, like they were filled with stars, twinkling away. "Grandma, I’m not dreaming, right? My mommy’s coming to see me tomorrow?"

"Of course it’s real, Joy. Tomorrow you can be with your mommy!"

The little bun was so happy he was dancing with excitement. He looked at Willow Crawford and shared this great news with her. "Teacher Kiki, did you hear that? My mommy’s coming back, I can see my mommy!"

Willow Crawford pulled the little bun into her arms. She decided to observe Morgan Ashworth for one more day; if it didn’t work, she would take the little bun away tomorrow.

He was young now, at his prime, with too many women throwing themselves at him. There were plenty of women who wanted to have his baby.

She had tested him; he seemed to be considering having another child. He could have more, but the little bun was her one and only, the child she’d traded her life for. She would never hand her son over to some other woman.

...

Morgan Ashworth was being pestered by Vanessa Willowb. Vanessa called him in a syrupy sweet voice, "Morgan, Morgan, why are you ignoring me?"

Vanessa Willowb blinked her big eyes at him.

Morgan Ashworth was a bit speechless. Did she really think she was that cute? He slapped a newspaper onto Vanessa’s face. "I don’t have time to keep you company today. Go play by yourself."

"Don’t be like that, Morgan, let’s go play together, I want you to keep me company~"

Morgan Ashworth looked at the bodyguard beside him. "Take Miss Willow away."

"Yes, Miss Willow, this way please." Two bodyguards stepped forward.

Vanessa Willowb stared wide‑eyed at Morgan Ashworth. "Morgan, how can you be so heartless to me? I’m not leaving, I’m just not leaving!"

Morgan Ashworth actually broke out in goosebumps. "This woman is yours to deal with, I’m out of here."

Morgan Ashworth turned and left, starting to deal with paperwork.

"Morgan, mmph!" Outside, Vanessa Willowb’s voice was suddenly muffled as the bodyguards forcibly dragged her away.

Morgan Ashworth began working through the documents. Very soon there was a "ding"—he’d received a text message. It was the little bun sending him a photo from Willow Crawford’s phone.

In the photo, the little bun was sitting on a carousel, laughing in the sunshine and happily flashing a victory sign.

Looking at his son’s smiling face, Morgan Ashworth’s heart went soft into a complete mess. He was just being stubborn with his mouth; he couldn’t bear to take away the time the little bun spent with his grandma, because every time he went out with her, he’d be so, so happy.

Morgan Ashworth traced the little bun’s chubby cheek with his fingertip. He had gone through so much to raise his son to this age. Even though the kid kept saying he loved his mommy, he loved him too.

Morgan Ashworth looked at those crescent‑shaped eyes when the little bun smiled—curved like little moons, sweet and childish. Just like his mommy’s...

Realizing he was thinking about "Willow Crawford" again, Morgan Ashworth quickly turned off his phone. He didn’t want to waste his time on that heartless woman.

It’d be best if she never appeared in front of him and his son for the rest of her life, otherwise...

Morgan Ashworth didn’t even know what "otherwise" he’d do. He just felt that if she showed up, he would definitely lose control.

He had no idea what he might do to her.

...

It was evening when Willow Crawford brought the little bun home. After a whole day of happy adventures, mother and son went home and took a bath, but Morgan Ashworth still hadn’t come back.

Mrs. Webb said, "Young master, your daddy just called and said he’s not coming home tonight."
