Chloe turned to look at Ethan. Although her memory hadn’t returned, she had already guessed roughly that this little one was her son.
Chloe reached out and waved, "Little Joy, come here."
"Kiki teacher," Ethan liked Chloe very much, so he ran in and hugged her directly, "Kiki teacher, what’s wrong with you? I feel you’re acting strange, like you’re not feeling well."
Chloe’s heart felt warm, looking at this little one, her heart softened. She stroked the soft short hair of the little one, "Kiki teacher is fine. Little Joy, do you miss your mommy?"
"I do!" Ethan nodded vigorously, "I dream about my mommy, I don’t understand why my mommy doesn’t come to see me."
"I think your mommy surely has her reasons for not seeing little Joy. Your mommy really loves you very much, and every day she can’t see you, her heart feels empty, like something important is missing from her life."
What Chloe said was true. Over the past two years, her heart had felt too empty. Now she understood that her deepest attachment and love were all for this little one.
Ethan nodded, "Yes, I think so too. My mommy wouldn’t not love me. People say giving birth is like walking through the gates of hell. My mommy worked so hard to bring me into this world, she gave me life, my mommy loves me."
Chloe reached out and embraced Ethan, holding him tightly. It was so good; although they only met today, the love and longing they had for each other had never ceased.
"Kiki teacher, can I borrow your phone? I want to call my grandma." Ethan asked.
Chloe immediately took out her phone, of course little one’s grandma was her mommy, and she missed her mommy too.
Chloe handed the phone to the little one, "Little Joy, here, go ahead and call your grandma."
Ethan took the phone and dialed Serena Sterling’s phone number.
The melodious ringtone played once and was quickly answered, Serena’s anxious voice came through, "Hello, Joy, is that you?"
"Hello, Grandma, it’s me."
On the other side, Serena felt relieved upon hearing her grandson’s voice, "Little Joy, where have you been? Your daddy called saying you ran away from home, Grandma was worried sick. Where are you now?"
"Grandma, I’m good, I’m with Kiki teacher now, Kiki teacher is very good to me~"
"Kiki teacher, which Kiki teacher? Can you let Grandma speak to Kiki teacher?" Serena immediately requested to speak with Chloe.
Ethan handed the phone to Chloe.
Chloe hadn’t spoken to her parents for over two years. She was still quite nervous, as she hadn’t fully recovered her memories and couldn’t automatically assume Willow Crawford’s identity.
"Hello." she answered the phone.
"Hello, are you Kiki teacher? I’m Joy’s grandma, we’ve just landed at the airport and we’re rushing over. Could you send us your location? We want to pick Little Joy up and take him home."
Chloe nodded, "I can."
"We really can’t thank Kiki teacher enough for this. We’re on our way now, and will thank you in person." Serena hung up the phone and hurried over.
