Chapter 1553: Chapter 1553: You Can’t Keep My Heart

She didn’t know if she would ever see this handsome face again, or if she would wake up in his arms once more.

Just then, her small hand was suddenly grasped by a large palm. Morgan Ashworth had opened his eyes at some point, gazing at her indulgently, "Princess Willow, you were secretly watching me, right? I caught you this time."

Caught in the act, Willow’s face turned red. She hurriedly withdrew her hand, "You’re talking nonsense. I wasn’t sneaking glances at you; I was openly looking at you!"

Morgan Ashworth turned over, "Alright, I’m letting you look now. Take a good look."

"What’s there to see? I just glanced at you casually. You’re such a narcissist," Willow said with a laugh.

Morgan Ashworth pulled her into his embrace, filled with joy. Such a morning was truly blissful.

At that moment, Willow suddenly felt a pain in her lower abdomen. It wasn’t noticeable at first but quickly turned into waves of cramping pain that grew more frequent. It seemed like she was going into early labor.

Lately, her mommy had been taking care of her very strictly, saying she might go into early labor any day now, so she couldn’t afford any delays physically.

Willow’s face turned pale.

Morgan Ashworth quickly noticed something wrong with her in his arms. Seeing Willow’s pale complexion, he froze and immediately asked with concern, "Willow, what’s wrong? Is your stomach feeling uncomfortable?"

"I..."

Before Willow could finish speaking, there was a rapid "knock, knock" at the door followed by Eleven’s voice, "Master, Mrs. Crawford is here."

Willow was startled; her mommy had come.

Morgan Ashworth immediately sat up. He knew the Crawford family would find this place soon, but he didn’t expect it to be so quick—just one night and they had arrived.

"My mommy is here. I want to go home," Willow struggled to sit up.

Morgan Ashworth pressed her fragrant shoulder, holding her down on the bed, his attitude domineering, "Willow Crawford, which home are you thinking of returning to? This is your home. You cannot go anywhere else but here."

Willow placed her hand on her swollen belly. Her stomach hurt so much; she was really going into early labor. But she couldn’t tell him because the day the baby was born was the day she would leave.

She didn’t want him to watch her leave. The one who is left behind is the most pained.

"Morgan Ashworth, you can’t keep me like this. Even if you hold onto me, you won’t hold onto my heart. Why even try?"

Morgan Ashworth let out a cold laugh from his throat, "Willow Crawford, listen carefully. I want both your body and your heart. Even if you can’t give them to me, I won’t let you give them to anyone else."

"You!"

"Come here."

The door was swiftly pushed open, and the maid outside stepped in. Morgan Ashworth got out of bed and dressed, instructing, "I’m going out for a bit. Keep an eye on her; don’t let her wander off!"

"Yes, Master."

"Morgan Ashworth, my mommy is already here. Just let me go," Willow pleaded.

Morgan Ashworth finished dressing, "I’m going to meet your family now. Don’t worry; they won’t take you away."

With that, Morgan Ashworth disappeared from view.

Willow sat on the edge of the bed, her fair forehead covered in beads of sweat. Her stomach hurt more and more; the baby was really about to be born.

She couldn’t give birth here; she had to return to her mommy’s side. But Morgan Ashworth wouldn’t let her leave.

What should she do?
