Chapter 1548: Chapter 1548: It’s Morgan Ashworth!

Willow suddenly felt very guilty. This whole time, her mother had been keeping her company. Her mother is a healer, dedicated to saving lives; her time is too precious, yet Willow had been monopolizing it.

"Mom, you should go ahead and get busy. Aunt Weaver is here; you don’t need to worry. I will take care of myself," Willow said with a smile.

Serena nodded, "Alright, I’m getting ready to set off then."

Serena was ready to set off. Before her daughter’s due date, she had to make a trip, because she not only needed to save her grandson but also her daughter.

All this time, she had been thinking of a plan, a way to save both the mother and child. There was still one ingredient she was missing, so she had to go out personally.

Serena left, and soon it was evening. Aunt Weaver brought in delicious meals, "Princess, it’s time for dinner."

"Okay." Willow sat down to start her meal.

But soon she cried "ouch," as the baby in her belly kicked her again. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

Aunt Weaver quickly rubbed Willow’s belly, "Princess, the baby kicked you again! I think this little one is as naughty as his father."

Aunt Weaver vividly remembered Morgan Ashworth taking Willow back to his estate a few months ago, treating her rather harshly. It seemed the little one took after his father.

But then Aunt Weaver reconsidered, "But Morgan didn’t seem the playful and naughty type. Princess, you’re a bit more innocent and cheerful. I wonder whose character the baby will inherit."

Willow hadn’t heard Morgan Ashworth’s name for a long time. Hearing it suddenly, she was stunned.

Aunt Weaver noticed Willow’s expression and immediately realized she’d misspoken, "Princess, I’m sorry. My big mouth has brought up the past again."

Willow curved her lips into a smile, "Aunt Weaver, it’s alright. I’m fine."

"Then let’s continue our meal."

After dinner, Willow took a bath and lay down to sleep. She dreamt about Morgan Ashworth.

She dreamt of him in his youth, the cold and handsome young man. She dreamt of him as he matured, as they became engaged, and later, of her pregnancy and him becoming a father.

Through these years, they had passed through the most beautiful times of their lives. From meeting each other to falling in love, looking back now, they had had only each other.

Willow felt both sweet and sour in her heart, her eyes misting over with tears that trembled in her lashes, and two drops slipped down her cheeks.

She cried.

At that moment, she suddenly felt someone enter her room in her sleep, coming to her bedside, silently watching her.

Those eyes, both passionate and intense, were fixed on her. Who was he?

Willow wanted to wake up, but no matter how she tried to, she couldn’t open her eyes.

She felt the side of the bed dip slightly, as that person sat by her side, and then a hand gently touched her face.

He was wiping away the tears from her face. His movements were so gentle, filled with cautious love and tenderness, wiping her tears dry.

Willow seemed to realize something; the sensation was too familiar. Was it him?

Could it be him?

Did he come into her dream?

Willow’s fingers twitched, and she suddenly opened her eyes. Her tearful gaze immediately collided with a pair of familiar, bright black eyes.

It was Morgan Ashworth!
