Chapter 1365: Chapter 1364

"Can I leave now?"

In a dim alley in London, next to a car with a smashed front, the chief steward asked the traffic cop.

The UK traffic cop nodded with a somewhat helpless expression. This woman ran a red light at night, sped on the street, and refused to stop for the cops. They could have easily prosecuted her, and they really wanted to arrest her.

However, she made one phone call, and they received orders from above to release her!

Though they didn’t know what background this woman had, it was clear anyone who could mobilize their superiors was untouchable.

The UK traffic cops had no choice but to let her go.

The chief steward gained her freedom, but by this time, Lin Fan was already nowhere to be found. If Lin Fan managed to hide, she might never find him.

Her car was unmovable, so she had to wait by the roadside, somewhat frustrated.

Not long after, a black sedan arrived and stopped beside the chief steward. A man of Chinese descent stuck his head out, "Get in the car."

This man of Chinese descent was the one who had previously kidnapped Chen Ling. After Lin Fan and his crew successfully rescued Chen Ling, the man returned to the Smith Manor and reported the incident to Third Young Master Smith, who scolded him fiercely.

Third Young Master Smith decided to mobilize a large force; even if they had to dig up London, they were going to find those three people.

At this point, the man received a call from the chief steward; she had found Lin Fan’s whereabouts but needed help as her car was wrecked. The man immediately reported to Third Young Master Smith and then drove over to pick up the chief steward.

The chief steward got in the car and said, "Back to Chinatown."

The man of Chinese descent asked, "What happened? Are they still in Chinatown?"

This was something he hadn’t expected. Shouldn’t Lin Fan and Chen Long have escaped Chinatown after rescuing Chen Ling? Why would they still stay there?

The chief steward said, "They must have split up; I only saw the one named Lin."

The man of Chinese descent asked, "What happened?"

The chief steward briefly recounted how she encountered Lin Fan on the street, tried to track him, and eventually was shaken off by Lin Fan.

The man of Chinese descent was shocked, "What kind of extraordinary person is this guy?"

Lin Fan was truly amazing; just thinking about him made his heart palpitate. If possible, he’d rather not have any dealings with Lin Fan again; he was genuinely scared. The only consolation was that Lin Fan didn’t seem to be a bloodthirsty person; even though all his men were knocked down by Lin Fan, not one of them died.

This was the reason he dared to come over.

The chief steward said, "His name is Lin Fan. We only know that he comes from Mainland Huaxia; his specific identity is still unclear."

The man of Chinese descent said, "Huaxia Martial Arts is rich and profound, with many hidden masters. This person is probably one of those who have been practicing martial arts since childhood. Judging by his attire, he looks like he’s from the mountains."

The chief steward said, "His background isn’t important; what’s important is how we can catch him. Someone with such skills, even if we find him, we might not be able to capture him."

The man of Chinese descent said, "Don’t worry about that. Mr. Smith has already called in experts. Our job is just to find him. Once we find him, there will naturally be someone to deal with him."

The chief steward said, "Who did you find? Are they reliable?"

The man of Chinese descent said, "A very formidable samurai from Neon Country named Yamamoto Takeshi, a top expert who has been loyal to the Smith family for many years, definitely reliable. From what I see, Lin Fan seems to have a special technique, which is hidden weapons, but Mr. Yamamoto’s blade is famous for its speed. With Yamamoto Takeshi on the case, it shouldn’t be a big problem."

The chief steward said, "Let’s hope so."

Chinatown.

The black sedan stopped at the door of a herbal medicine shop.

It was already ten o’clock at night. Master Xiao Ye was just about to close up.

He saw a man and a woman get out of the sedan and approach.

"You two couldn’t have picked a better time. I’m just about to close. Are you here to buy medicine?" Master Xiao Ye said warmly.

"Let’s talk inside." The chief steward said coolly.

Master Xiao Ye seemed to notice something was off; these two didn’t look like they were here to buy medicine.

Master Xiao Ye chuckled and said, "Do you two have some advice for me?"

"I told you to go inside, just go inside. Why so much nonsense!" The man of Chinese descent impatiently said, shoving Master Xiao Ye forcefully and pushing him inside.

Master Xiao Ye had a good temper and still wore a smile on his face, "What’s the matter with you two?"

The chief steward said, "We’re looking for Lin Fan. Where did he go?"

Master Xiao Ye had a jolt in his heart and smiled, "Lin Fan? I don’t know anyone named Lin Fan. Maybe you have the wrong place?"

The chief steward said, "Tonight, Lin Fan came to see you here, and he drove off in your car. Now you’re telling me you don’t know him?"

The man of Chinese descent said viciously, "Better confess honestly, don’t refuse the drink in favor of punishment!"

Master Xiao Ye suddenly looked enlightened and said, "Oh, you’re talking about that young guy. I honestly didn’t know his name when you said it earlier. Tonight was also the first time I’ve seen him."

The chief steward said, "Where is he now?"

Master Xiao Ye shook his head, "I don’t know."

The chief steward said, "You said you don’t know him, yet he drove off in your car?"

The man of Chinese descent yelled angrily, "Lying fatso, are you tired of living? Believe it or not, I’ll beat you up!"

Master Xiao Ye said, "I truly don’t know. This young man came to buy medicine. The car wasn’t mine; he left it here for safekeeping. He just came to take the keys back. Since we are all Chinese, we help each other out. As for where he went, I really don’t know."

The man of Chinese descent cursed, "Looks like you won’t tell the truth unless you get a beating."

He went forward and slapped towards Master Xiao Ye.

The chief steward wanted to stop it initially but eventually didn’t. Well, this guy is lying; maybe a beating will be useful.

However...

Before the hand of the man of Chinese descent could touch Master Xiao Ye, suddenly, Master Xiao Ye swiftly reached out, caught the man’s hand, pushed it down, then hooked his foot.

The man of Chinese descent immediately lost his balance and fell to the ground. Master Xiao Ye followed by wrenching his hand behind his back and securely restrained him.

"Ah!"

The man of Chinese descent let out a scream, grimacing in pain.

Master Xiao Ye’s grappling moves were clean and sharp, truly beautiful. The man who originally intended to show off was now in an incredibly awkward situation.

Originally, Master Xiao Ye didn’t want to fight, but since this guy insisted, he was forced to counter.

The expression of the chief steward changed. This little herbal medicine shop was indeed full of hidden talents. Master Xiao Ye was strong; even she might not be a match for him.

The chief steward didn’t want to fight him and immediately drew her gun, aiming the dark barrel at Master Xiao Ye, "Let him go!"

Master Xiao Ye said, "You have the wrong place. I really don’t know where that young man went. I’ll let him go if you leave!"

The chief steward laughed, "If you had continued to show weakness, I might have believed you. But after showing that skill, it means you’re no ordinary person. Do you think I would believe you?"

Master Xiao Ye said, "Whether you believe it or not, I have nothing to tell you."

Just then, a woman came in from outside, and upon seeing the scene in front of her, she was so frightened that she screamed.
