Chapter 10: Divine Revelation
"Where am I?"
Eurenia’a voice resonated through the vast unknown. She didn’t wake up to the smell of burning ogre flesh or the hot wind of the Hudeii Desert.
Instead, she opened her eyes to an absolute, terrifying silence.
She was standing on a floor of cracked, obsidian glass that stretched out into infinity.
Above her, there was no sun, no blue sky- only a void filled with fracturing, shattering stars that bled a deep, dark-crimson light.
The air didn’t move, yet her vibrant red hair and new black-tipped wolf tail swayed as if caught in a metaphysical current. freēwebnovel.com
"Am I dead?" Eurenia whispered, her voice echoing in infinite directions.
She looked down her hands. The crimson draconic scales tracing her jaw and fingers were still there, gleaming under the starlight.
The raw, violent kinetic energy of the Desolate Draconic Fenrir bloodline still throbbed her veins, but the exhaustion that had caused her to collaspe after the battle was completely gone.
Suddenly, the obsidian glass beneath her boots vibrated.
The crimson mist at the edge of her vision began to churn and gather, rising toward the fractured sky like an upside-down waterfall.
Shadows lengthened, twisting and compounding until a colossal, towering silhouette materialized before her.
She was shaken.
It had no defined face, no physical flesh. It was a massive wall of cosmic pressure and shifting darkness that blotted out the stars.
But from the center of that darkness, two immense, burning golden-crimson slits opened, staring down at her.
BOOM!
The sheer weight of that gaze hit Eurenia like a physical blow. Her newly evolved apex predator instincts- the same instincts that had made seventy ogres tremble, instantly screamed at her to submit.
Her knees buckled, slamming into the glass floor. Her breath hitched in her throat as she bowed her head, forehead nearly touching the ground.
This pressure.....it wasn’t the maddening, filthy corruption of the Lord of Depravity. It was clean, ancient, and absolutely devastating.
"You fought well, Alpha of the Great Luna Pack."
The voice didn’t come from the silhouette’s mouth; it echoed directly inside the walls of her own skull, vibrating against her brain.
It was deep, layered with a faint, system-like resonance that commanded absolute obedience.
"L-Lord Varanus..." Eurenia managed to choke out, her heart hammering against her ribs. "I...I doubted you. I feared your name. I thought..."
"You thought I was a creature of depravity," the silhouette cut her off, the dark mist around it swirling with amusement. "A leader protects her pack from the dark. Your doubt is not a sin, Eurenia. It was wisdom. But you chanted my name, and you offered your soul to the Feral Domain."
"A God does not forget his contracts."
The giant silhouette shifted, leaning closer. The ambient temperature in her mind palace, instantly spiked, carrying the faint, terrifying scent of white-hot draconic fire.
"The gray-skinned vermin has been cleansed, and their souls watered my domain. But twenty-five warriors cannot conquer the world. Your brothers and sisters are scattered across the sands of Hudeii Desert, running from the proxy of the true gods."
Eurenia raised her head slightly, her golden eyes reflecting the cosmic silhouette. "What would you have me do, Lord Varanus?"
The silhouette raised a hand made of shifting shadows, pointing at her chest.
A divine rune was engraved on her chest.
For the first time in her life. She could see a transparent cyan panel flickering before her eyes.
"A divine message?" she asked.
[Ding!]
[A Divine Quest has been planted into your subconscious mind]
[Divine Quest: Gather the Fractured Pack]
[Difficulty: Level 1]
[Description: Locate and unite the remnants of the Crimson Wolf-Kin scattered across the East, West, North and South of the Hudeii Desert. Bring them under the banner of the Feral Domain]

"Gather the pieces of your clan," the voice commanded, fading into a low, rumbling echo as the fractured stars above began to spin violently. "Build my foundation on this desert. Show them that the beasts are no longer prey. Wake up, Alpha."
"Wait-!"
Before Eurenia could speak, the obsidian glass beneath her shattered completely. She fell backward into a void of pure crimson light.
Gasp!
Eurenia eyes snapped open. She sat bolt upright, her chest heaving as she drew a sharp, heavy breath.
She was back in her restructured private tent. The harsh midday sun was filtering the canvas patches, and the faint smell of roasted ogre meat still lingered in the desert air outside.
"Lady Eurenia!" Commander Argo, his left eye still bandaged but his face filled with awe, rushed into the tent along with Hedro and Vian.
"You’re awake! The old man...Anazora said you were just resting from the divine strain."
Eurenia didn’t answer immediately. She looked down at her hands, watching the faint crimson draconic scales recede back beneath her skin, leaving only her heightened physical strength behind.
The transparent blue screen of the Divine Quest was still burned into the back of her eyelids.
It wasn’t a dream. It was a divine decree.
She slowly stood up, her aura radiating a quiet, unshakable authority that made her commanders automatically straighten their backs.
Just like Eurenia’s father, the previous Alpha.
Eurenia is now an evolved cultivator.
"Where is the old man?" Eurenia asked, her voice laced with a newfound reverence.
Commander Vian bent his head, "He’s gone" he answered. "What?" Eurenia widened her eyes in shock.
"Please calm down my lady" Commander Hedro spoke, "Old man Anazora told us his job here was over and he had to leave. We couldn’t stop him from leaving" Eurenia calmed down as she listened to the commander’s explanation.
"I see" she exhaled a deep sigh, "I should have atleast been awake to send him off. But the job isn’t done"
"What are you talking about?" Commander Argo asked. Eurenia’s lips curled faintly "I received a divine revelation from Lord Vanarus"
"A divine revelation?!!" the three commanders couldn’t hide their confusion, their faces filled with confounding emotions.
"Yes" Eurenia sighed with a nod, "This is just the beginning, this time...we won’t be running away from anyone"
"We’re venturing to the west of the Hudeii Desert. We have our people to save!"

Meanwhile located in a mile away from the wolf-men, a young golden haired man walked under the scorching heat.
His lips curled faintly, "To think I got my hands on such versatile divine authority" Roy clenched his fist, suppressing his excitement.
Divine Authority of Mindcraft! ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
That was the new divine authority Roy had awakened. An authority which grants him dominion over minds of all lifeforms.
He was able to use his connection with Eurenia to create a bridge into her mind while she slumbered. That revelation was the result of his new authority.
"That was a success" Roy exhaled deeply, "I plan on making this Hudeii Desert my sacred zone starting today."
"By rallying Eurenia and her commanders through my divine revelation. They’d rally their forces, searching for the remnants of their great pack" He smiled, "Their next destination should be either the west or the south of the Hudeii Desert"
"I should head north for now" Roy’s eyes flickered, "I’ve solidified my divine domain, confirming myself the God of Beasts"
"Wolf-men shouldn’t be the only beastmen that serves me" He grinned, "I will unite all beastmen under the name, Varanus!"
"That way, it won’t be difficult to gather ten thousand followers within the span of ten years"
