Chapter 486: Ragna meets Silva

The inside of the ship was unlike anything Silva had expected it would be. The walls were lined with glowing red patterns that reached all the way to the end of every wall.

The weeping angels stood beside him the moment they were in. They walked deeper while he walked at the center of them. He was no prisoner, but if he tried to leave, they would for sure take action. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com

It had been a long time coming, the meeting that he would have to have with Ragna. He just didn’t expect that it would be this peaceful. It felt off. Ragna had only attacked him ever since they got to know each other, if constant fights could be considered knowing each other.

The walk was silent. Only their footsteps could be heard. The ship seemed never-ending.

’There seem to be no other weeping angels,’ Silva thought as he looked around.

After what seemed like a very long while of walking through the hallways, they finally made it to a large door.

"The master awaits you inside," one of the weeping angels said, and the doors of the ship slowly started opening, revealing a massive room inside, but that was not what pulled the attention of Silva.

There were hundreds of weeping angels inside, but they were not moving. They were all in their statue state. Silva could not tell why, but he knew that they were not alive in any way.

"What is this place?" he muttered as he walked in. His footsteps echoed. He looked ahead and noticed that there was a door at the end of the room. He could sense that there was something here, so he walked to the door.

The moment he got to the door, it slid open, the way an elevator did. The sound was smooth for such a rough door. The first thing that hit him was the warm feeling and a soft sweet scent from inside the elevator-like shuttle.

Silva didn’t think much about it. He stepped in. The moment he did, the door slid closed and the elevator began taking him up without waiting for an input from him. fгeewebnovёl.com

He stood with his back against the wall as he went up, arms folded.

"I wonder what the primordial deity that has chased me for so long would be like. Tch, what if he attacks me? I don’t think I’m prepared enough to take on a deity," Silva muttered.

The elevator stopped and the door slid open. It revealed a room greatly similar to that of the one below, filled with statues all through it, but this time there was one different aspect, and that was the fact he could sense life here.

Something was alive and also moving here. Silva stood where he was and scanned with his eyes, but he could not see it. Regardless, he stepped in, his footsteps resounding as expected.

He walked toward the center and kept looking, but he could not see who was here.

"If you want to attack me, then please do so now," Silva said and got ready for a fight.

"Attack you?"

A voice came through the air. It was smooth and light, yet very masculine. He materialized out of nothing. A tall man in a black three-piece suit. He had his blood-red hair slicked back, and his red eyes glowed in a devilish manner. His skin was paper pale and his aura was dominating. He was the kind of man young girls and married women licked book covers for.

Silva became on guard the very moment he saw this figure.

"Tch, drop your guard. You would have died ten times over if I had wanted," the man said and then stretched out a hand for a handshake.

"I’m the master artist, and the being that controls the power of to be and not to be. Ragna."

"Ragna?" Silva asked in shock. In no way had he ever expected Ragna to be some good-looking human-like dude. He had expected some primordial being of great power and size.

He looked down at the hand and then shook it. The moment their hands touched, Silva’s mind was pulled into a vast darkness and was shown the grand power of Ragna in an instant.

When Ragna let go, he smiled and looked at Silva. "It’s good to finally meet you."

’This dude, is he trying to scare me or what? That thing just now, he showed me his true inner form.

He is a vast unending sea of power. I could see it. It was like some endless form. So that’s what it means to be a primordial being, huh? I’m kind of jealous. I’ve never been jealous of power before, but now I am.’

"I can’t say it’s good to meet you, after all you have sent more angels to me than I can recall."

"Hahahah, sorry about that. When I had first sensed you, I thought that somehow the dark dragon, my former friend and now enemy, had awakened again. I wanted to get rid of him for good this time and have him pay for what he did to me.

But along the line, I discovered you were not exactly the dark dragon I knew, but someone that had gained his legacy. I kept sending angels more as a training exercise than anything else," he said and then turned around. He began walking deeper into the room.

"I had to make sure that the being that had taken such power could really use it the right way. That’s why I kept sending more and more to you," he explained and then turned to look at Silva.

"So you kept attacking me constantly because you wanted to see if I was worthy? Do you even know the things I have gone through because of you?"

"No, no. Everything you have gone through is because you are the dark dragon, the most hated being in the universe and the direct enemy of order. That’s why."
