’Does this mean that this system can actually absorb bloodlines that are dormant and hidden within the human body and not even activated?’

Bloodlines are primordial powers passed down from one generation to the other. For one to gain bloodline, one has to first become a demigod, imprinting that bloodline directly into the gene!
Then those who direct descendants of the demigod would gain bloodlines with a trace of the demigods power. Which is why those from noble families don’t mix marriage with commoners!
They consider it a stain as it would thin the bloodline power and eventually, the bloodline would become so thin its inactivatable.
One of Daerius ancestors must have given birth for a Noble with the bloodline, letting a trace of that bloodline in the family line and eventually ending up in Andrew hands.
If Daerius had survived this battle, he might have the chance to unlock this ancient bloodline and if he does, barely anyone would be his match because of how strong it is.
