Chapter 25: Hidden Quest & Limitless Bloodline
Jealousy and envy...
Maybe he could kill her and absorb the bloodline? The thought crossed his mind.
But Andrew immediately shook his head.
Right now, the girl was about 5 levels above him after gaining 10,000 EXP from the potion, and he didn’t know what kind of insane abilities a Primordial Bloodline granted its user.
It would be a risky move not different from poking a sleeping dragon in the ass. If she survived his first strike and retaliated with Primordial-level power, he’d be the one turned in trouble.
The energy surge finally began to reduce. The golden tornado faded, and the swirling winds died down to a gentle breeze.
The girl’s body slowly descended, and to Andrew’s jealousy, a pair of magnificent golden wings unfurled from her back, flapping gracefully as she floated back down to the ground like a descending goddess.
She opened her eyes, and they were breathtaking, pure golden pupils that seemed to contain the fire of a dying star.
Golden wings folded elegantly behind her back, and two cute, pearlescent white horn protruded from her forehead, spiraling backward just three inches, slightly hidden in her hair.
Her skin was pale and flawless, completely devoid of visible scales, but Andrew’s sharp eyes could see that the scales were there, just transparent and hidden to a casual glance, like tempered glass coating her body, creating a prismatic shimmer that gave her an otherworldly, ethereal beauty!
"Sir, thank you for saving me!"
Andrew wanted to speak but was distracted as the middle-aged female NPC woman stood up and bowed deeply at him to express her gratitude!
Her wounds had completely healed! Her munched-on legs and arms had regrown without a single scar.
The Tier 4 Perfect potion had worked exactly as advertised.
Andrew sniffed and cried inwardly! ’A Tier 4 treasure gone just like that, and all you have to say is thank you!? No system compensation? Just thank you!?’
He didn’t let any of his inner turmoil show on his face! He simply nodded, trying to make his face calm but his face ended up being weird,
"It’s alright. You must be from the village right? Just head back and be safe."
The woman nodded her head, but her eyes remained anxious Her lips parted, then closed, then parted again as she hesitated to say something.
Andrew rolled his eyes and forced a smile, which made it look even weirder.
"Is something the matter?"
She unexpectedly dropped to her knees on the blood-soaked ground and begged! Her forehead pressed against the dirt as she prostrated herself before him.
"Please, sir! Save my daughter!"
Andrew was taken aback! His eyebrows shot up, and he frowned slightly! "Is she inside the cave?"
"Yes hero. My daughter; along with 13 other children, have been captured and taken inside the cave and they’re to be fed to the Grey Rat King!"
The woman’s voice cracked as tears streamed down her face.

Andrew was stunned, it was actually a Hidden quests!
Hidden quests differs a lot and can either be nothing or could lead to everything. frёeωebɳovel.com
These were quests that had a slim chance of evolving into a Main quest or World Quest.
Main quest or World Quests are missions that could change the fate of the entire Heaven’s Domain.
In the past few years, there had been several World Quest but one in particular which everyone knew about that started as a Hidden Quest.
It was the so called World Apocalypse Glitch, the event where the game-world bleed into the real world, 400 years ago, creating various races and opening thousands of dungeons and portals all over the world.
In that event, several people got S-Rank to EX-Rank Talent, Mythic treasures, Diamond items, and Legendary classes.
According to his memories, although random, many past players had done this exact tutorial mission, but none of them had ever mentioned anything about a hidden quest.
’Wait, -20 Reputation? How is it my fault if I fail!? They were going to be eaten anyway if I hadn’t come!’ Andrew grumbled internally, feeling the system had hit out for him at this point. ’I’m being penalized for something that wasn’t my problem in the first place!’
But despite his internal complaints, Andrew feigned a brave smile outward, patting his chest heroically! "I will do my best!"
Maybe the failure result would reduce a bit if he showed good intentions...
Nop! Still -20!
[Quest Accepted]
[Please hurry before the Grey Rat King starts his buffet!]
"I-I can help."
An almost shy, trembling voice rang out from beside Andrew, making him turn! He had almost forgotten about this lady! The one who stole his Golden Dragon Bloodline and was now parading around with it like a peacock showing off its feathers!
Andrew rolled his eyes and turned to her, fully intending to immediately say no, but the words died in his throat as he saw her.
She stood there with her eyes fluttering as she stared at the ground shyly.
Her fingers fiddling nervously with the hem of her tattered gown, making her look like a guilty puppy.
Her golden wings were tucked tightly against her back, and her white horn seemed to droop slightly with her posture.
Andrew inhaled deeply, suppressing his bitterness. "Do what you want."
Then he bent down and touched the corpse of the male Player, the one he had intentionally let die because he was interested in his bloodline. And at this moment, he was dead.
In that moment, a notification popped up in his mind!
[Ding! Bloodline absorbed: Pangu Bloodline (Ancient)]
[Creation Talent detected two compatible bloodlines! Do you wish to fuse [Pangu Bloodline] + [Limitless Magi Bloodline] together?]
Andrew immediately grinned happily. The two bloodlines were actually compatible enough to create something entirely new, he didn’t hesitate for even a fraction of a second!
"Yes, merge!"
