Chapter 11: Easily reaching level 5
"Mm, thanks. This felt satisfying," He said, expressing his gratitude.
His body, which had been completely sore and parts of it nearly numb, was suddenly fully healed.
His recovery should have taken two or three days, but in just a few seconds, his body had already returned to peak condition.
"No problem. Now in exchange, make some food," Samminah demanded domineeringly.
At her sudden demand, Ryven’s eyes couldn’t help but twitched slightly. Still, he went ahead and did as she said.
The one-month supply of food barely had any meat, most of it only consisted of vegetables and fruits.
As for water, the supply wasn’t lacking, since every three days a full barrel was delivered.
Ryven then cooked some stew and served it to Samminah. Unexpectedly, she wasn’t picky and ate quite a bit of it.
Watching her eat while the thick purple veil still covered the lower half of her face, Ryven found the sight a little bizarre.
However, he didn’t question it. Instead, he couldn’t help but check her stats.

Seeing the huge changes in her stats, Ryven was speechless. Although he was aware that Samminah hadn’t just been slacking off during in the past week.
"By the way, what the hell did you do inside that room?" Ryven couldn’t help but ask curiously.
"You wouldn’t understand, even if I try to explain it," She replied bluntly.
The corner of his mouth twitched.
Why does everyone keep saying I wouldn’t understand what they’re saying? If I can’t understand it, then just explain it. He sighed inwardly.
There were still many mysteries and predicaments surrounding him—the mysterious entity that helped him awaken an SSS-Rank class, the inheritance of an evil god or goddess, and the impending shortage of food in Reinett Village.
It included the three massive holes at the far ends of the west, north, and east.
And finally, the source of the abominations—and the cause of the thick fog that covered this place.
The moment Ryven thought about all of it, he felt a sharp headache. Quickly, he pushed those thoughts aside.
"Ah, right—Samminah. Can you help Fred and me level up? There’s also a task I need to complete, and it involves a Third-Stage abomination."
"Fred and I wouldn’t be able to defeat it, so we need your help." freeweɓnøvel.com
Noticing that he had already caught her attention. He pulled out the map from his inventory and handed it to Samminah for her to examine.
As she looked over the map, a look of amusement crossed her face. She had never seen a place like this before, even after living for hundreds of years.
"They said the only abominations we need to clear are spiders located around this area marked with an X"
He pointed toward the west side of the map, where the mark was placed within a sketch of a cave.
"It shouldn’t be much of a threat to you, since the strongest one is said to be only around Third-Stage."
Samminah took the map and inspected it carefully. "So? Are we heading out now?"
"Yes. It would be better if we leave now."
"Sure," She agreed without hesitation.
Going out to hunt some abomination, Samminah didn’t oppose it, after all it was also a way to grow stronger faster.
At the same time, she wanted to test the capabilities of her newfound power after her seclusion.
Ryven exhaled in relief when she agreed. This time, he planned to keep most of the experience points for himself so he wouldn’t be a burden.
"One more thing... I have a question. If I reach Level Ten, will I only unlock another ability?"
Faced with his question.
Samminah answered thoughtfully, "Mm, yes. You should unlock another ability once you reach Level Ten."
"Then how did you already have a second ability, even though you were only Level one back then?"
Samminah, growing tired of his questions, replied bluntly.
"If you’re smart, you can figure out why I’m an exception."
Noticing that her patience toward him today was rather poor, he nodded and quietly concluded that it might be due to her race, bloodline, or maybe something else.
After the conversation, Ryven prepared a pair of weapons for protection. He had borrowed them from the village blacksmith, promising to repay with merit points later.
The first weapon he manifested was a spear. At a glance, it seemed nothing special, but it occasionally emitted a faint glow, giving it a slightly extraordinary sensation to the wielder.
It stretched two meters long. The tip of the spear was obsidian making it sharper than metal, while the handle was smooth and flexible.
The second was a shield, also made of obsidian.
"We’re going now."
Ryven announced. Samminah walked beside him, while Fred followed closely behind.
The village had a vast territory, and only after nearly half an hour did they finally reach the entrance.
Seeing them armed, the guards recognized them as hunters about to undertake a task and opened the gate.
Once outside, Ryven felt the familiar fog surround him.
"You don’t mind taking the lead, right?"
Samminah let out a scornful scoff and moved forward. Once they fully left the village, the fog thickened more than fivefold.
"You have your Concealment ability covering us, right?" Ryven asked, slightly cautious. Leaving the village meant any abomination could attack at any moment.
"I already did." She said, without sparing him a single glance at him.
Ryven nodded, his shoulders easing slightly as the tension left his body. Without another word, they continued toward the west side of the map.
As they ran, Ryven and Fred was barely able to keep up with Samminah. If not for them, their speed would have been much faster.
Eventually, after half an hour of traveling, Samminah sensed more than a hundred abominations—some around Third-Stage and Fourth-Stage.
However, due to her Concealment ability, they went completely unnoticed by the creatures.
She also couldn’t help but sigh in relief, as none of the hundreds of abominations had any special abilities that primarily focused on detection.
"Samminah, could you slay a few abominations for me?" He suddenly suggested between heavy breaths.
At this pace, his body would eventually give out. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
"You want experience points?" She asked, pausing as she glanced back at him
She looked around the forest and sensed a pack of dark wolves. They were the same creatures she had encountered ever since she was summoned to this place.
Unlike the lone dark wolf before, this was a group led by an alpha, a Second-Stage Dire Wolf.
It had an extremely long, curved snout, crimson eyes resembling blood, and a massive body reaching about five feet tall and incredibly wide.
Every time the Dire Wolf stepped forward, even First-Stage and other Second-Stage abominations avoided it.
"Did you sense something?" Ryven asked, noticing the change in her expression through the eyes alone.
"Yes, but it’s not a real threat."
She then conjured a moonlight blade and coated it with Moon Luminesce. Then she did the same with a second moonlight blade.
Ryven could only watch as the blades shot through the thick fog, vanishing from sight.
Moments later, the system notification rang.
[??? Had slain a Second-Stage, Dire wolf!]
[Would you like to transfer the experience points to ??? Or take it all to yourself?]
I’ll take the experience point to myself.
[+70 Experience points]
As he thought that, another notification followed.
[Host, level increased +3]
After the notification, Ryven didn’t hesitate and allocated his Arcane Points into Stamina.
[Host Stamina increased +6]
Immediately, he felt the changes in his body. His breathing was no longer as ragged as before, and his heartbeat felt more stable.
Samminah watched the group of abomination flee, she was slightly disappointed. After the Dire Wolf was slain, the remaining dark wolves fell into chaos and scattered.
"Lets continue." She moved ahead without waiting for Ryven to respond.
The journey was longer than he expected. At their current pace, it would take about a day to reach the cave.
Along the way, Ryven leveled up rapidly.
[??? Had slain a Second-Stage, Red Ape!]

Because of the steady increase in experience, Ryven eventually reached Level Five after just two hours of traveling.
At the same time, after two hours of running, he didn’t collapse, only feeling very tired. B
By investing all his points into Stamina, he managed to keep going for that long.
After a few minutes, Ryven eventually raised his hand, signaling for them to rest.
"Resting already?" She glanced at him, unimpressed.
Ryven shot her a helpless look and respond in complaints, "Do you really think I can keep up with the two of you?"
Samminah ignored his complaint and instead scanned their surroundings, making sure no abominations were nearby.
