Chapter 99: Chapter99-Bounty for Outlander’s Contact Information

White light flashed, and Ben’s figure appeared inside the Beast God Dungeon.

He steadied himself and looked around.

The dungeon’s sky had a dark-golden glow. The air was filled with a faint beastfolk aura, and in the distance, a few wisps of smoke could vaguely be seen rising. That was the direction of a beastfolk territory.

Ben did not move immediately. Instead, he raised his hand and swiped.

"Come out, Wind_Chaser."

A cyan summoning array appeared beneath his feet.

As light surged, a goshawk with a wingspan of over ten feet flapped its wings and emerged. Its talons were like iron hooks, its eyes were sharp as blades, and faint cyan wind patterns coiled around its body.

Wind_Chaser was the first pet Ben had contracted after advancing into the Beastmaster class. Although its rank was not high, its speed was excellent, and its field of vision was wide. It was perfect for scouting terrain.

Ben flipped onto the goshawk’s back and patted its neck.

"Take off. Let’s get a look from above."

The goshawk let out a clear cry. With a beat of its wings, its body shot straight into the clouds like an arrow.

Wild wind rushed against Ben’s face, making his robes flap loudly. The scenery on the ground rapidly shrank into chessboard-like patches of color.

A moment later, he was already hovering several hundred meters in the air, and the outline of the entire dungeon entered his sight.

"To the southwest. There’s a beastfolk territory."

Ben’s gaze focused slightly, locking onto a camp enclosed by wooden fences.

Inside the camp, houses were arranged in scattered order, and quite a few beastfolk figures could be seen moving back and forth. Although the scale was not large, the layout was orderly. Clearly, this was not an ordinary settlement.

"Go. Let’s head down and take a look."

The goshawk tilted its body and dived toward that territory.

Amid the howling wind, Ben landed steadily in the forest outside the territory. The goshawk transformed into a streak of cyan light and returned to the pet space.

The moment he landed, a patrol squad of beastfolk discovered him.

"Intruder!"

The beastfolk patrol captain at the front let out a furious shout. The seven or eight beastfolk soldiers behind him drew their weapons at the same time and charged toward Ben with roaring cries.

Their rough shouts echoed through the forest, shaking the branches and leaves until they rustled.

Ben remained calm and casually cast Detection Spell.

[Beastfolk Patrol Captain]

[Skills]: Heavy Axe Cleave, High-Speed Assault, Hunting Perception, Berserk Roar, Ironblood Guard

[Description]: An elite frontline warfighter carefully selected by the beastfolk race...

Ben’s heart trembled.

A-Rank?

Lv.60?

He subconsciously cast two more Detection Spells at the ordinary beastfolk soldiers nearby. The result was the same across the board.

A-Rank.

Although those beastfolk had panels slightly lower than the captain’s, their ranks had also all broken through to A-Rank.

"That person was actually telling the truth..."

Ben’s brows tightened.

He had originally thought Moonshade’s words were merely exaggeration. Now, it seemed the beastfolk in the entire dungeon had indeed completed a full advancement in a short period of time.

But shock was one thing.

His movements did not stop.

A staff flowing with deep-blue light appeared in his hand.

At the top of the staff was embedded a sapphire the size of a fist, releasing dense magical fluctuations.

Ben held the staff in one hand and muttered a short incantation. The staff suddenly lit up.

"Froststorm!"

Deep-blue magical light burst from the tip of the staff and transformed in midair into a rapidly spinning frost vortex.

The vortex carried countless sharp ice crystals and fell directly into the middle of the beastfolk squad.

Crack—crack—

The sound of ice crystals shattering rang out without end.

Wherever the frost passed, the beastfolk were instantly covered in layers of ice, and their HP rapidly fell under the erosion of extreme cold.

[-19,782!]

[-17,654!]

As the president of Serenity Guild, Ben’s equipment and attributes were naturally far beyond Moonshade’s.

In just a few breaths, the HP of that beastfolk squad dropped to zero. They transformed into white light and dissipated, leaving only remains scattered across the ground.

System notifications rang inside his mind.

The moment the EXP entered his account, Ben’s eyes lit up slightly.

He glanced at the EXP gain number, and the corners of his lips curved upward.

It was actually more than three times that of A-Rank wild monsters of the same level outside.

"No wonder people were willing to pay high prices for the tokens.

"Just for this EXP bonus alone, even fifty gold coins per token would be a huge bargain."

Just as he was silently calculating, a deafening roar suddenly erupted from the beastfolk territory not far away.

"There’s an intruder!"

"Surround him!

"Kill him!"

The camp gate crashed open. Dozens of beastfolk soldiers surged out like a tide, raising their thick weapons above their heads as they roared and charged toward Ben.

Behind those soldiers, a figure wearing a beast-bone robe slowly stepped out. It held a crooked bone staff in its hand, and dark-red light burned in its eye sockets.

A beastfolk priest.

It raised its staff high and let out a shrill roar.

"In the name of the Beast God, tear this outsider apart!"

As its voice fell, the eyes of the beastfolk soldiers suddenly flashed with blood-red light. Their muscles swelled and bulged, and their auras surged sharply.

Clearly, the beastfolk priest had applied some kind of bloodthirst-type enhancement spell to them.

Ben looked at the beastfolk army rushing toward him like a tide and sneered.

"You want to kill me?"

The staff in his hand rose again, and the sapphire’s light bloomed once more.

"Flamestorm!"

Scorching fire elements gathered at the tip of the staff, transforming into a spiraling pillar of flame that crashed into the beastfolk formation.

Flames swept through them. Wherever they passed, thick black smoke rose from the beastfolk bodies, and their HP plummeted at a visible speed.

[-21,344!]

[-22,891!]

[-20,177!]

But there were too many beastfolk. Once the front row fell, the rear row immediately filled the gap, roaring as they continued charging forward.

Ben remained expressionless and waved his staff repeatedly.

"Frost Nova!"

"Thunder Spear!"

"Arcane Impact!"

One magical light after another, each a different color, poured out from the tip of his staff and fell into the beastfolk tide like a sudden storm. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

Frost froze the front line.

Thunder shattered the center formation.

Arcane Impact blasted the soldiers who had just surged out from the rear until they were thrown into complete disorder.

The beastfolk priest widened its eyes, its dark-red pupils filled with horror.

Its soldiers were being harvested in waves like straw, yet they could not even touch the corner of the enemy’s clothes.

"How is this possible...

"A mere human..."

It roared unwillingly and was just about to cast a spell when a Thunder Spear had already pierced through its chest.

[-13,982!]

The beastfolk priest’s HP instantly emptied. Its body froze for a moment, then crashed to the ground.

There was no longer a single living creature left in the entire beastfolk territory.

The fences, houses, and watchtowers all burned and collapsed under the aftermath of Flamestorm, sending thick black smoke rolling into the sky.

Ben slowly lowered his staff and glanced at the increase in his EXP, feeling rather satisfied.

However, his brows quickly furrowed again.

The EXP in this dungeon was indeed abundant, but he could not stay here forever.

Serenity Guild had thousands of people waiting for him to deploy and command. He needed more dungeon teleportation tokens before he could organize large numbers of people to enter and level here.

But the problem was that only the dungeon master could produce those tokens.

"I need to contact Outlander first. Assassin Three and the others have been gone for so long without any news. They probably failed too."
