The thunder king upon hearing the insults that entered his ear finally lost his smile and looked coldly at the group of youngsters who were suddenly frozen by his glare. Not far from them the Sect Master and the elders had just arrived to witness the young disciples of their sect cursing at the Thunder King. Lei Yuye said with a chilling voice as he looked at the youngsters with disdain within those pairs of purple irises. "This is the first time I’ve heard this king called an Old thing. Much less from ants like you~."
Hearing these words the young disciples from the Hidden Tang Sect tremble, as they can feel and see the lightning converging in the hands of the Thunder King.
Some elders shouted, "Please don’t!"
Unfortunately, their words didn’t even reach the ears of the Thunder King who is ignoring their presence.
Tan Bingyu upon seeing this couldn’t help but say, "Please don’t kill any of them Lord Yuye."

Turning them into human charcoal, none of them were dead though but they cannot move their bodies and are almost half dead.
Well, these youngsters were someone from the family’s elders who had always been against the Tan Family. They believe that without the Tan Family, the current Sect Master would lose all his support and backing making it easier for them to take over his position.
After all, most of the powerful elders from the old generation are dead. Though it was unexpected that the old ancestor would suddenly return. Not only killing the Great elder who is supposed to lead them but also cutting off their connection with the Du Clan. It took a while for them to restore their relationship with the Du Clan, inciting them to attack the Hidden Tang Sect so those not from their side to be all killed in the battle including the Sect Master’s death was planned.
Who would have thought that the Tan Family would be able to invite the Thunder King? Now their children had not only angered the Thunder King, they even got punished and would be bedridden for months. The sect master and the elders appeared before the Thunder King. They lowered their heads and despite being the one who had gotten a family injured they couldn’t openly get angry at the Lei Yuye. This is all because the power gap between the man in front of them and the whole Hidden Tang Sect is so huge that they couldn’t offend the former.

Sect Master Tang Yuan and the elder of the Hidden Tang Sect felt as if their faces were slapped without mercy and they couldn’t even save this face of theirs.
The Thunder King ignored their reactions and looked at the children crowding around him ever since these people appeared.
He said, "Alright. You guys played enough. Let’s go eat for now and wait for the enemies to arrive."

The Thunder King ignored the presences of others, after all if he isn’t willing to pay attention to others who are not within the scope of family. He considered the Tan Family as a part of the Regal Lei Clan because they are his niece’s people. As for the Hidden Tang Sect, they are just an extension family from the wife of someone connected to the Tan family. Since they do not treat the Tan Family well then there is no need for him to show them a good face.
The Thunder King walks away with the children, Tan Bingyu who was about to follow after only lightly now towards her uncle and ignores the rest of the elders. Since it was already decided that the Tan family no longer treat the whole Hidden Tang Sect as a part of them and only Tang Yuan and his family can be somehow considered a family member, there is no need to give a good face to these elders who were acting arrogant before them.
Once Tan Bingyu and the Thunder King had left, the elder scrambles to check on their family’s children and is devastated. Most of them had become a cripple and but they should be thankful that they were still alive. They will have to live a useless being after this day.
"How can they be this cruel?!" An elder whispered.
An elder from the Sect Master’s side retorted, " Why don’t you complain louder? Maybe this time your whole family can be exterminated together with that good grandson of yours!"
"He is so amazing that he insulted the Thunder King to his face!"
"Your family branch truly doesn’t know what fear is."
"Sect master, do you not think this is too much!?"

They had summoned all the doctors in the sect to check on their grandsons only to be given with an ultimatum that they will not be able to cultivate anymore even if their burns healed. The only way to lessen their pain is to find someone to remove the lightning energy left in their bodies and begin the treatment for healing or like the Thunder King had mentioned these young guys can only be bedridden for a few months until the remnant lightning energy in their bodies naturally fades.
