With only two days remaining before her departure for Gesalsi, Diamond didn’t spend those days idly. She visited other places she never managed to visit. She went around shopping and got her hands on many items she was going to give to her family members, staff and even some to give away to fans.
She also interacted with her fans online, and even livestreamed even if it was just for a short moment.
She also remains in touch with Iseul regarding her accommodation matters. After all, she didn’t own a house there but with the way she loves that country, perhaps, she should start looking into buying a house. It might come in handy.
On the day before departure, Diamond only went shopping for half a day and returned to the apartment after lunch, the reason being, she was going to meet with Russ.
He had called earlier and informed her that he was going to come and deliver her order personally which was quite unexpected. At the same time, she couldn’t help but be happy. After all, seeing a handsome mature man didn’t seem to be that really bad.
In preparation of his arrival, she made a quick meal to serve him when he arrived. Just as soon as she was done, his call came in and he was already there.
Diamond went downstairs and welcomed the handsome man who came with several others with several boxes that had what she ordered, though it looked a bit too much than what she asked for but who could say no to extra?
So, while the guys were delivering, Diamond hosted Russ in Gael’s house and even gave him the food that she prepared. Russ didn’t stand on ceremony and started eating. His eyes were sparkling as he ate the food.
He had always known that his own produce was high quality and delicious, but what he was eating, it was simply divine.
"You can cook! This is so good!" he couldn’t help but earnestly praised.
After all, when ingredients are good and the person cooking is a great cook, then the result would only be magical. That was his current experience right now.
And why didn’t he even think that she ordered the food from a restaurant? The reason was, he had looked into her and knows that she loves cooking when she is in the mood and her cooking was top notch. There was no need for her to fake it. Moreover, with how direct she is, she won’t be the kind of person to waste time on that.
Diamond naturally beamed when she heard that. She loves it when people compliment her efforts.
"I am glad that you like it. If I had time, I would have made you a feast!"
Russ’s lips curled upwards as he looked at the glowing young woman. His heart fluttered but he didn’t suppress it at all.
"Then, I will be waiting for that day."
Diamond flashed her white rows of teeth and teasingly responded, "Hehe, and if you were to visit. I will cook for you every single day. How about that?" sticking her tongue at the end.
Would he visit?
Hell no. There was no way he would leave his empire to drop by for a visit. Their relationship wasn’t exactly that deep for such to happen. Besides, cooking every night. Didn’t she have something to do?
She was naturally joking and didn’t mean a single word at all, this time.
And Russ knew that the moment she said that. Diamond wasn’t a housewife and she had many things going on. How could she manage to cook all the time? So, he didn’t take it seriously on the surface, but inwardly he couldn’t help but have a sly thought that he kept to himself.
"Hehe, since you ask, then this man will be shameless one day and come over!"
Seeing him playing along, she beamed at him and happily responded, "I will be looking forward to that."
The two chatted a bit more with Russ finishing his food. Once he was done, Diamond escorted the man to his car since it was all done. As for paying, Russ had refused that and simply told her, "Consider this my gift. If you want to repay me with something, why not send me that wine sooner?"
With him being so generous, who was she to refuse?
She readily accepted and promised to send him the finest when it was time.
Before the man left, the two hugged and she received two pecks on the cheeks before she waved him farewell. It would be months before she sees him again. After all, she was going to return for the OASIS meeting before the year end. She wasn’t done with Brece just yet.
After sending him away, she returned to the apartment and started going through the boxes. There was a lot of dried meat and jerky. There was a single box of fresh meat though. There were several boxes of wines with Russ’s company on it.
Diamond set aside some meat and wine for Gael. The rest she stashed it in her storage ring. It was way safer in there compared to outside. Why give herself trouble when she could just live peacefully without any worries?
When she was done with all that, Diamond decided to prepare a meal for Gael. She had been cooking lately and didn’t find it troublesome. The reason she wanted to cook was also to keep herself busy and find something to do while entertaining her fans.
Since it was going to take Gael a while before he comes home, she quickly made her mind and once the ingredients were all in place, she started the livestream and the fans were happy. After all, lately, Diamond had been engaging with them a lot compared to the past few months – the time she was dealing with Zara’s matters.
Throughout the stream, Diamond chatted easily with the fans, answering their questions while cooking with ease.
The livestream only ended when Andrea announced that Gael was arriving. Being stingy with her lovers, she didn’t want anyone to see him. So, she shamelessly ended the livestream and promised to do another livestream soon.
After all, flying for two days without any entertainment would be boring. She wouldn’t mind chatting with them during that period.
Thus, her flight itinerary was made.
