While all of the gods were thinking about what to do, the voice spoke once more.
"Now that you’ve seen what the situation is, I’ll give you the answer."
The gods couldn’t help revealing wry looks when they heard this, but that didn’t mean that they were against what this voice said. The owner of the voice had been the one that had guided them all along.
Now that they were in a dead end, it was only natural that they would look to them for guidance once more.
"It must be sealed."
All of the gods couldn’t help revealing frowns when they heard this.
It wasn’t as if they hadn’t thought of this idea before, it was just that there was no guarantee that they would be able to seal off this Black Tide forever.
At the same time, there was no guarantee that sealing off the Black Tide would even achieve the goal that they wanted. After all, this Black Tide was needed to maintain the balance of this world.
It wasn’t as if sealing the Black Tide away and suppressing it completely was the way to go.
After all, it meant that the Black Tide wouldn’t be able to perform whatever function that it needed to perform in this world if it was completely suppressed like this. If that were the case, the same thing would happen where this world would be destroyed because of the broken balance.
For the gods, they just couldn’t think of a way that sealing the Black Tide would solve their problem.
The Heart of Destruction that had recovered from its wounds at this point suddenly said, "I’ll submit. I’ll follow you and listen to what you say."
It was desperation that drove the Heart of Destruction to say something like this, but it seemed like it was willing to do anything as long as it could survive.
It was just that it didn’t seem like there was anyone that believed it for even a second.
In fact, most of the gods really looked like they wanted to destroy the Heart of Destruction at that moment. They wanted to silence this Heart of Destruction forever since it was the one that had caused all that death and destruction in the world.
But they couldn’t do it since they had experienced what had happened.
"Why do you think that it’ll work? I haven’t even shown you my design for the seal yet."
The gods were caught off guard when they heard this, but it didn’t seem like these words alone were enough to alleviate the doubt that they felt. It seemed like there was still a part of them that didn’t seem to believe the words that this voice said.
Still, they didn’t say anything as they waited to see what would happen.
After all, this was the one that they followed and the one that guided them.
There were no other words that were said, the only thing that appeared was divine energy. However, everyone that felt this divine energy knew that this was different from anything that had been used so far.
The moment that this divine energy appeared, even the mortals could tell that this was the power of a being on a completely different level.
"No, you can’t do this to me!" The Heart of Destruction naturally panicked seeing this, but there was nothing that it could do. Even though it did all that it could to slam at the barrier around it, it was only hurting itself by doing this.

The mortals weren’t able to see through this, but the gods slowly made things out.
"This design...is genius."
That was the only thing that the gods could think when they saw the array that this divine energy formed.
While they weren’t able to see through all of this array, they were able to see through the main functions. Which was why they could only think of this thing as something that a genius would make.
It certainly wasn’t something that they would have been able to imagine.
Once the divine energy finished condensing, it actually integrated itself as part of the divine energy barrier that had been surrounding the Heart of Destruction. The gods could feel the connection that had formed between them and this array.
This made them feel even more assured about all of this.
It meant that whatever this array was, it wasn’t going to be sustained by just a single god. It was something that was going to be sustained by the combined powers of all the gods.
Even if something were to happen to one god, it wasn’t as if this seal would suddenly disappear. And if all the gods were to disappear, then it might really just be the end of the world and it wouldn’t matter if the seal were to break.
"No, no, I can’t accept this!" The Heart of Destruction shouted, but there wasn’t anything that it could do as blades formed above it. These blades were split into four equal parts, so they would cut the Heart of Destruction into four equal parts.
When it was over, there was no longer a sound that came from the Heart of Destruction.
The four equal parts were all surrounded by divine energy and separated from each other. Then the divine energy around it closed in on the four equal parts until it formed a special casing around it.
These four pieces were then passed on to four of the gods.
Each of them took the piece that landed in front of them and when they grabbed it, they could sense what was possible with these pieces. With just a single thought, they would be able to transform the shape of these pieces of the sealed Heart of Destruction.
But that wasn’t the only thing that they could do with it.
They knew that they would be able to draw out the power of the Black Tide with these sealed pieces, which meant that they would be able to maintain the balance of this world.
