Chapter 1383: Chapter 639: Gaining the Immortal Beast’s Remains, Ever-Regenerating Spirit Medicine

The deepest part of the Ice Crystal Mountain Range.

A figure appeared silently, and naturally, it was Jiang Fan.

"Is this truly the lair of an Exotic Beast?"

Jiang Fan stood in mid-air, overlooking the land, observing the terrain clearly.

This was a dead silent valley where even the cold wind struggles to penetrate. There was no fluffy snow, only billions of years of condensed Profound Ice, spread over every inch like glass, refracting a spectral and faint light, making the entire valley look like a time-forgotten ice coffin.

At the center of this valley lay the corpse of an Immortal Beast, so massive that it occupied almost half the valley floor. Even though life had long departed from it, the undying aura from its bloodline remained like an invisible barrier, circulating within the cold air, resisting the erosion of millions of years with not even a trace of fading, as if time here had lost its effect only on it.

The contours of the corpse still allowed a glimpse into the Immortal Beast’s former majesty. It resembled a Qilin but had wings. The wing bones, translucent as White Jade, were covered with intersecting cracks; some so deep they penetrated to the marrow. The edges bore charred marks torn by immense power, as if scorched by thunder fire, or severed by Divine Weapons, even the resilient wing membranes had shattered into countless tiny ice crystal fragments, sticking to the wing bones. When the wind blew, they emitted a fine, mournful whisper.

Its body was robust like an ancient tree, the scales that covered it had long lost their former lustre but still remained as hard as Profound Iron. Every scale was marked with scars of varying depths: some were tears from sharp claws, scales flipped, revealing the dark golden texture beneath which had long solidified. Despite the passage of time, traces of the Immortal blood that once flowed there were still visible;

Others were dents left by energy impacts, the scales within the dents cracked inch by inch, as though enduring earth-shattering force, even the ice crystals couldn’t smooth them out.

"My heavens, is this a complete Immortal Beast corpse?"

"Is it real or fake, countless years have passed, yet the corpse hasn’t decayed."

"Without a doubt, this is indeed an Immortal’s corpse, an Immortal’s remains contain eternal material, even time cannot obliterate an Immortal’s remains."

"I truly did not expect us to have the chance to see an Immortal Beast’s corpse, this is a powerful creature from the Immortal Realm, truly incomparable to Mortal World creatures."

"Before its death, what kind of brutal battle did this Immortal Beast experience, who exactly killed it?"

The Ten Thousand Transformations Immortal Cauldron and other Magical Treasures upon seeing this scene, were immediately shocked beyond words, with inner waves tumultuous.

They saw the head of the Immortal Beast leaning to one side, the single horn broken in half, the break clean and sharp, clearly sliced through, the remaining horn filled with fine patterns, those were the Immortal Beast’s innate Dao patterns, even stripped of life they still emitted faint Spiritual Light, intersecting with the surrounding ice crystals.

Its eye sockets were deeply sunken, the originally star-like eyes long vanished, left with two pitch-black voids, yet seemingly still capable of glimpsing the ferocity of the past battle—around the voids, the bones were marked with grooves as though gnawed by monstrous beasts, or burnt by Immortal Techniques, even the skull showed a piercing crack.

In the crack, a few strands of long-solidified black mist were embedded, remnants of enemy’s wicked energy from back then, still lingering despite countless years passing, contending with the Immortal Beast’s own unyielding aura, forming a faint trail of light within the eye socket.

The corpse’s limbs stretched rigidly, the claws on the forelimbs broken, leaving three intact, which remained sharp as ever, the tips embedded with a small piece of dark alien matter, torn from the enemy during the battle, enduring countless years of freezing yet remaining undecayed.

The bones of the hind limbs were twisted and deformed, clearly broken by immense force during the battle, the tendons at the bone connections had lost elasticity, yet still tightly wrapped around the bones, as though even in death, the combat spirit never relented.

Below the corpse, the Profound Ice was permeated by dark golden Immortal blood, solidifying into pieces of dark red ice crystals, within which the flowing blood stains of the past were still transparently visible, as if the battle had just ended, the Immortal blood yet to completely coagulate, only eternally preserved by this extreme cold, frozen in that instant.

On the surrounding ice crystals, traces of the past battle remained—on the cliffs, enormous claw prints and impact craters were visible, some claw prints reaching depths of several meters, shattering the sturdy Profound Ice;

Inside some craters, broken beast bones and fragments of Divine Weapons were embedded, the Spiritual Qi of those fragments long dissipated, yet the intensity of past clashes could still be felt.

In the air, aside from the chill of ice crystals, lingered faint scents of blood and dispersing immortal power, the latter not a stench of decay but carrying a hint of Immortal grace, intertwined with the Immortal Beast’s enduring aura, unmistakably perceivable despite countless years.

"I can sense the massive energy contained within this Immortal Beast’s corpse."

"If the master could absorb part of the flesh energy from this Immortal Beast corpse, it might be enough to cultivate the Soaring Snake Technique to the Mahayana Realm, this is an immense opportunity."

"Previously, those nine Body Integration Realm Exotic Beasts relied on the flesh essence of this Immortal Beast corpse to reach such heights, a corpse of an Immortal Beast like this can cultivate countless Exotic Beasts."
