Chapter 48: Chapter 48: The Omnipotent Master Cao

Dressed all in black with a hat on, Jiang Li slipped in unnoticed. As she passed a private room, she heard a commotion inside.

It was Qiao Siyuan’s voice.

Jiang Li stopped and looked around. Listening to the conversation within, she used a burner phone to send a message directly to Wu Xueyan.

Then she took out her phone and called the police.

After taking care of everything, she walked to a boba shop across the street and sat down. Soon, Wu Xueyan arrived in a fury, followed by a police car pulling up to the entrance.

Inside the room, both Wu Xueyan and Qiao Siyuan were lying on hospital beds. ’Did something happen to them on the way here?’

"Excuse me, nurse. I’m Qiao Siyuan’s girlfriend. Why is he in the hospital?"

The nurse looked at her with pity. "We don’t know the specifics of what happened, but when your ex-boyfriend was brought in... that thing of his was broken.

And the woman he was with is heavily pregnant..."
