Chapter 119: Chapter 119: I Have a Boyfriend Now (2)

Elliot Sheridan found a blushing Georgia Thorne to be more delectable than any feast.

A feast of her would be more than enough.

Elliot started the car, placing one hand over Georgia’s.

Blushing, Georgia pulled her hand back and told him to focus on driving.

These days, there were far too many accidents caused by minor distractions.

"A lot of reporters have been trying to get pictures of me lately. If you want to go public with our relationship, you don’t have to disguise yourself." Elliot looked at her, leaving the choice in her hands.

Georgia, of course, chose to disguise herself. ’The pressure of being known as Elliot Sheridan’s woman would be immense.’

All of Portmire was crawling with socialites and heiresses who adored him, not to mention countless ordinary women who were fans and called themselves his wife.

Georgia put on a mask and sunglasses, checked the mirror, and used her hair to cover the rest of her face. It was basically impossible to see her features.

Feeling uncertain, she asked the man beside her, "Can you still tell it’s me?"

"Of course!"

"Really?"

Georgia took another careful look at herself in the mirror. All her distinguishing features were covered.

’Even I can barely recognize myself. How can he?’

For Elliot, no matter how Georgia disguised herself, he would always be able to recognize her.

Fully disguised, Georgia had barely stepped out of the car before Elliot wrapped his arm around her.

A little scared, she tried to shy away, but Elliot’s large hand cupped her waist. He leaned in and whispered softly by her ear, "Don’t worry, the reporters won’t recognize you."

Georgia hid herself in Elliot’s arms, keeping her head down the entire time, not daring to look at anyone.

She followed him nervously into the private room, only letting out a sigh of relief once they were inside.

It felt as nerve-wracking as dating an A-list celebrity. Georgia gazed at the handsome man across from her.

’He really is A-list,’ she silently concluded.

"Come sit over here."

"I’m fine sitting here," Georgia said softly. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

Elliot narrowed his eyes, casting a threatening gaze in her direction as he softly uttered a single word. "Come."

Georgia reluctantly moved over, intending to sit on the chair next to him.

Before she could even sit down, the mischievous man grabbed her by the wrist and yanked. She instantly tumbled into his lap.

With a soft gasp, she landed on his outstretched thighs as he supported her soft waist.

"Elliot, what are you doing!" She balled her hands into fists and pounded on his chest.

His crisp, masculine scent washed over her face. Elliot looked at her with narrowed dark eyes and gave her waist a malicious pinch. "You’re the one who threw yourself at me, and you’re asking me what I’m doing?"

Georgia’s face flushed red. Her waist was very ticklish, and she frantically grabbed his hand. "You pulled me first!"

’He’s the worst, twisting the truth like that.’

After a deep kiss, Georgia was left breathless, her eyes red-rimmed and glistening.

"You can’t."

She was terrified Elliot would get carried away here. She wasn’t brave enough for something so risqué.

What if a waiter suddenly came in, or another guest wandered into the wrong room? freēwēbnovel.com

Elliot knew the little woman in his arms was shy. He tapped the tip of her nose with a long finger. "Save it for me when we get back?"

Georgia tried to get up, but he held her shoulders, pressing her down even more firmly.

If she couldn’t get up soon, she was really going to cry.

Elliot took a deep breath and let her go. Releasing his prize took considerable effort.

He took hold of Georgia’s small hand. A few minutes later, a waiter knocked and entered.

As the waiter served the dishes, Georgia kept her head down the entire time.

It wasn’t that she was afraid of being recognized, but simply that she felt shy.

’Good thing they came in late and didn’t see anything.’

Before the waiter left the private room, Elliot called out Georgia’s name.

Biting her lip, she said, "Time to eat!"

Elliot had ordered the restaurant’s signature dishes. The whole table was covered in food; it seemed he had ordered too much.

She had actually eaten at this restaurant once before, but there had been four of them that time.

The strange thing was, it seemed to be the exact same private room as last time.

Not sure if it was a coincidence or something else, Georgia looked at Elliot suspiciously.

He just smiled gently. "What’s wrong? You don’t like the food here?"

Georgia shook her head. "No, it’s not that. I’ve been here once before. Coincidentally, it was in this very room."

Elliot hummed in acknowledgment, raising an eyebrow for her to continue.

"I ate with Selena and the others," Georgia said in a small voice.

She deliberately stressed the word "others," hoping he would get the hint.

"Why did you choose to eat here?" Georgia asked, blinking up at him.

Elliot put down his chopsticks. "A friend of mine owns this restaurant."

"After you finished eating that day, my friend showed me two photos. Guess what they were of?"

Elliot smiled at her, but his sharp gaze made the hair on Georgia’s arms stand on end. She quickly shook her head to show she didn’t know.

At the same time, her mind raced. ’I didn’t do anything too out of line, did I?’

"Think carefully before you answer. For every wrong guess, we’ll do it one more time when we get back." His chiseled, handsome face was serious, his deep, dark eyes were fixed on her, but an ambiguous smile played on his lips.

Georgia panicked, her eyes widening in disbelief.

"That I ordered the couple’s set meal with Justin Sullivan?"

"Continue."

"That I called Zane Lennox and asked him to pretend to be my boyfriend?"

"That Zane Lennox kissed me?"

Seeing Elliot’s expressionless face, Georgia grew even more confused.

Her mind raced as she carefully recalled the events of that day. Other than those things, she couldn’t think of anything else.

Just as Georgia was at a complete loss, Elliot spoke calmly, "Tonight when we get back, we’re doing it three times."

"What!" Georgia sucked in a sharp breath and looked at him, aggrieved. "Were all my guesses wrong?"

"No, you were right about all of them. But hearing you say those things puts me in a very bad mood."

Elliot’s expression had turned somewhat grim. Only then did Georgia belatedly realize he had tricked her into confessing!

"I promised Nancy Hughes I’d go back to the apartment tonight," Georgia said, hastily making an excuse.

Elliot rubbed his temples. "So, you want me to call your roommate personally?"

Georgia shook her head frantically. Of course that wasn’t what she meant.

"Be good and eat up. You’ll need enough stamina for tonight."

She wanted to cry but had no tears. ’Three times... I might actually die!’

The waitress who had just left Elliot’s private room glanced behind her to make sure no one was following, then secretly ran to the street behind the restaurant.

She knocked on the window of a car parked on the side of the road.

A few seconds later, the car window rolled down. "Did you get the information? Was it that woman named Amanda Thorne?"

The waitress nodded. "Yes, I heard the gentleman call her that with my own ears."

The waitress described what she had seen inside the private room to the person in the car.

"Good. Here’s your money. You know what this means?"

The waitress nodded repeatedly, took the thick stack of cash, and turned to run back toward the restaurant.

In reality, she had only heard the man say "Thorne" and hadn’t caught the rest of the name. ’But it must be Amanda Thorne, no doubt about it!’

Inside the car, Joanne Donovan rolled the window up, ripped off her sunglasses, and threw them angrily onto the passenger seat.

Her suspicions were correct. That little bitch Amanda Thorne pretended to have broken up with Elliot, but she was still hooking up with him behind everyone’s backs.

Joanne Donovan had been living abroad by herself for the past few years. With no one to discipline her, she had picked up many bad habits.

She took a pack of cigarettes from the storage compartment and skillfully lit one up.

They were men’s cigarettes; she had only started smoking them after seeing Elliot smoke the same brand.

Elliot Sheridan had been extremely famous ever since his student days.

The number of girls who pursued and adored him was endless. Joanne Donovan had been in love with him for a full fifteen years.
