Chapter 1201: Chapter 1201: Cling to This Big Tree

Kelly looked at Watt, then looked at her. Seeing that she had no intention of turning her head his way, she instantly grew bolder again.

There were a few other classmates in the private room, but everyone was busy with their own thing, chatting and laughing, clinking glasses and playing drinking games, the mood high and rowdy.

No one noticed what was happening on her side.

A man like Watt, just getting the chance to be close to him once was already not easy. Kelly didn’t want to miss such a good opportunity tonight.

Watt was probably bored. While waiting for Summer Sutton, he called a waiter over and ordered himself a cocktail.

Kelly watched quietly from the side. When the waiter left to head to the bar, Kelly followed him out as if nothing had happened. "I’m going to the restroom."

The people in the room were all wrapped up in their own fun; no one heard what she said.

Kelly walked out with perfect composure.

Once she left the private room, she didn’t head toward the restroom, but went to the bar instead.

She walked one circle around the bar, watched the bartender finish mixing the cocktail, lingered there for a while, and only then went back to the private room.

After she returned, she went on casually sipping her own drink as if nothing had happened.

Iris seemed to be quite drunk, clinging to Summer and sometimes laughing, sometimes making a scene, completely wasted.

Summer and Zoe were both taking care of Iris; neither of their gazes left Iris for even a moment.

Iris had probably drunk too much and felt like throwing up, so Summer and Zoe helped her to the restroom.

The drink Watt had ordered was brought over; holding the glass, he sat alone, taking light sips.

Kelly quietly watched him drink it down, the corners of her lips lifting slightly.

Summer was still in the restroom dealing with Iris; once she went, over ten minutes passed without her coming back.

Watt drank very slowly, as if savoring the taste.

After the first sip, he didn’t notice anything wrong, so he finished the whole glass.

Only, a few minutes after that one drink went down, his consciousness began to blur.

He rubbed his fingertips against his temples, tried to stand up, but his legs were a bit unsteady.

"Mr. Bennet, where do you want to go? I’ll take you," Kelly stood up and slowly walked toward him.

Watt still had a sliver of awareness and knew what she was after. He tried to push her away, but his body lurched and he could barely stand.

"Mr. Bennet, looks like your alcohol tolerance isn’t that great." Kelly caught him in one smooth motion and, supporting him by the arm, led him out of the club.

By the time they left the bar and got in the car, Watt had completely lost consciousness.

"Summer..." His fingers kept rubbing at his temples as he fumbled for his phone to call Summer Sutton, but after groping around several times, he couldn’t find anything.

"I’m Summer." Kelly pressed his hand down, settled him onto the back seat, then went back around to the driver’s seat in front.

Once she started the car, she drove straight to her own place.

On the way, she called her agent and roughly explained what was happening on her end.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? If Watt finds out the truth tomorrow, won’t he be furious?" The agent sounded a bit worried.

"What’s there to be afraid of? I just have to deny it to the death. It’s not like he has any proof I messed with his drink. I’ve even paid off the waiter." Kelly had just entered the industry, but she was bold in her actions. "Besides, it’s not easy to run into a big tree like this. If I don’t grab on while I can, I can forget about ever getting another chance like this."

The agent thought it over and felt she had a point, then started encouraging her over the phone. "You must get this done right. You can’t slip up, understand?"
