Chapter 1198: Chapter 1198: If He Doesn’t Give Her a Taste of Her Own Medicine, He’s Not a Man!

Summer Sutton was taken aback after hearing his words.

Watt Bennet hadn’t said much, just two words, but with just a glance, Summer Sutton knew what he meant.

Summer Sutton felt uneasy, tried to calm her expression, and casually looked to the side, "Hurry back!"

"In a rush?" Watt teased.

Summer Sutton was mildly choked by his words and hummed softly, "You’re overthinking."

Why would she be in a rush?

In situations like this, isn’t he always the one who’s in a hurry?

Watt chuckled lightly and continued driving.

In the past few days, Watt Bennet and Summer Sutton had been up in the mountains.

Every night up in the mountains, Summer Sutton slept well, but for Watt Bennet, it was torment.

Not to mention sleepless nights, the small bed kept him from doing anything with Summer Sutton, and he was unbearably hot.

The room was hot, and lying so close to Summer Sutton each night felt like a blaze.

Now that they’re finally back, Watt Bennet felt if he didn’t properly indulge with Summer Sutton, he wasn’t a man!

His mind raced as he increased the car’s speed. Upon reaching the villa, he parked by the gate, pulled Summer Sutton out of the car, and lifted her up to carry inside. Just then, Summer’s phone rang.

It was Iris Watson calling, one of Summer Sutton’s few friends in Northtown.

Calling so late, it must be urgent, otherwise, she wouldn’t choose this timing.

"Iris has something urgent." Summer Sutton advised upon seeing the caller ID, trying to get out from Watt’s arms.

"I don’t care." Watt firmly locked her hand in place, unwilling to let go.

"It might be urgent." Summer Sutton was getting anxious.

"She managed to call, shows she’s fine. If she’s okay, isn’t that enough?" Watt still didn’t plan on letting her go.

Summer Sutton had no clue what was happening with Iris, and her heart was burning with anxiety.

"Let me check it out first; I’ll be back soon, I promise." Without hesitating, she pried Watt’s fingers one by one and squeezed out of his embrace.

Without looking back, she rushed towards the villa’s exit.

"Where are you off to in the middle of the night?" Watt angrily shouted behind her.

"I’ll be careful, no need to worry." Summer replied without turning back, picking up pace as she ran.

While running, she called Iris.

She asked Iris’s location, and after reaching the entrance, opened the car door ready to get in when Watt followed her out of the villa.

Before she could get in the car, Watt sat in the driver’s seat first.

"I’ll go with you!" He said, starting the engine while glancing at her still standing outside.

Summer Sutton paused for a moment before opening the car door to sit inside.

Watt didn’t say much, just started driving slowly.

He simply couldn’t rest assured about her.

Late at night, a woman running off, she doesn’t even know where she’s heading.

If it’s a dangerous place, who could help her?

Following Iris’s given address, the two drove for half an hour before arriving.

They parked the car outside a bar, and upon seeing its name, Watt couldn’t help but frown deeply.

He felt relieved now, grateful he’d come along.

With Summer Sutton’s looks, running to such places late at night, who knows what might happen!

Watt led her inside the bar, and as they walked, he lifted an arm around her waist, protecting her from being bumped by people around.
