Chapter 1190: Chapter 1190: As Long as He’s Here, It’s a Honeymoon

As she walked, Summer Sutton gently swung the tassels on her clothes, seemingly pondering something in her mind.

As she continued down the path, she suddenly took a few steps back.

She retreated until she was beside Watt Bennet, and gently took hold of his hand.

Summer dared not make her movement too obvious; after holding his hand, she quietly observed his reaction.

Watt showed no expression as he continued walking forward, not responding to her actions at all.

Summer took his silence as consent, her lips curling slightly as she slipped an arm through his, clinging to his arm, pressing herself against him.

The move made Watt pause for a moment.

Turning his face slightly, he glanced at her hand hooked around his arm.

Summer ignored his gaze, keeping her body close to his.

In the height of summer, walking so closely together, she didn’t mind the heat.

As they walked, their bodies occasionally brushed against each other.

Watt felt uncomfortable, as if on fire from her constant nudges.

What Summer actually wanted was the feeling of a regular couple walking together, maintaining the same pose as they walked a while, when Watt suddenly said, "Wanna try what it’s like in the mountains?"

At first, Summer didn’t understand what his sudden question meant.

She paused, and when she realized, her face turned beet red.

How shameless!

Feeling a bit embarrassed, she immediately let go of his arm and nonchalantly put some distance between them.

"Let’s head back!" Afraid he might really do something on the mountain, Summer nudged him.

The crew had already wrapped up, and everyone was heading back. If she and Watt lingered too long and hadn’t returned, it was obvious what others might think they were doing on the mountain.

Not wanting to be misunderstood, Summer quickened her pace.

Watt followed behind her, his handsome face tense, as they descended the mountain.

...

The next day, Summer had a shoot that required her to stay a night on the mountain.

Watt accompanied her up the mountain as usual.

As the daylight waned, the crew began setting up tents.

Staying on the mountain wasn’t all that pleasant, cold, with definitely more mosquitoes than in the room where the two had slept the past few days, and possibly encountering wild animals foraging at night.

Summer seemed not to have the slightest worry about these things; she even appeared quite cheerful, actively setting up the tent.

Anyone who saw her like this might even think she was having a romantic getaway tonight.

To Summer, today was no different from a romantic getaway; as long as she could be alone with Watt, it was a romantic getaway to her.

In the evening, after everyone finished a barbecue around the campfire, Summer slipped into the tent early.

Watt, not familiar with the crew, naturally went in early too.

By eight o’clock, both had finished their evening routines, ready to go to sleep.

So early, neither of them was likely to be asleep yet.

Summer glanced at Watt, who kept a little distance from her, then scooted closer.

A scoot, another scoot, moving to Watt’s side, seeing no reaction from him, Summer simply reached out with her arm and, turning to the side, embraced him.

Regardless of whether he was still upset with her, after hugging him, Summer nestled her head into his chest.

"Adrian, I actually really enjoyed these days here," her voice quietly echoed in the silence.
