Chapter 582: The Name of New Moon Magic Academy

Third Person’s POV

Whenever they wished, they could use the promise of freedom and power to force him into carrying out dangerous tasks for their benefit.

They could exploit him endlessly while ensuring he remained dependent upon them.

At least, that was what this woman seemed to believe or had in her wildest fantasies.

The more Ethan thought about it, the colder his thoughts became, yet despite the fury raging within him, his expression remained perfectly calm.

His face revealed nothing, and anyone looking at him would think that her words had not affected him in the slightest.

Seeing that unnatural calmness, Shixea suddenly felt an inexplicable chill run through her heart.

For some reason, his silence felt more dangerous than anger at the bomb she had dropped on him suddenly.

Her heartbeat accelerated slightly, and a strange sense of unease appeared within her mind, though she could not explain why.

She suddenly wondered if she had gone a little too extreme in dealing with him.

Meanwhile, Ethan was already considering extreme measures.

Part of him was seriously wondering whether he should simply abandon negotiations altogether.

If necessary, he could capture this woman and force answers from her himself about the undoing method of these restrictive seals.

And even if doing so meant becoming completely hostile toward the Ice Emperor and the entire IceHeart Royal Family, he was ready.

As long as he could obtain the method for removing those restrictive seals, perhaps the risk would be worth it.

Just as those dangerous thoughts were beginning to solidify, Shixea suddenly spoke again.

And this time, her words caused Ethan’s thoughts to freeze.

"Please don’t misunderstand my words as a threat."

Her tone softened considerably.

"If you agree to cooperate with us, then not only will we grant you your freedom, but I personally promise to reward you with a rare grade four Realm Breaking Potion capable of helping you cross the boundary of the Crystal Formation Realm and enter the Sky Realm."

Ethan remained silent.

Shixea continued.

"As you know, such a treasure cannot simply be purchased with money. Furthermore, the potion I am offering is of the highest grade and would increase your chances of breaking through by more than fifty percent."

A trace of confidence appeared in her eyes.

"Such a treasure is practically nonexistent in the outside world of the current era."

She paused briefly before continuing.

"And beyond that, we can provide you with treasures, cultivation resources, opportunities, and access to places that ordinary people can only dream of reaching."

Then she finally revealed her last offer.

"We can even arrange for you to study at the greatest academy of the Northern Glacial Region, The New Moon Magic Academy and get all the best of the best resources and opportunities that the talent of this continent gets."

Ethan had remained largely unimpressed throughout her entire speech as treasures, resources and power could be obtained by him through other means.

Most of those things did not interest him very much.

His fate had already left him with inheritances that ordinary people could never obtain in their entire lives, and he had the most perfect master he could have to guide him in his path to power.

However, the moment the words ’New Moon Magic Academy’ entered his ears, everything changed.

For a brief moment, Ethan blanked out completely, and it felt as though a bell had suddenly rung inside his mind.

The room disappeared, and the conversation disappeared.

Even Shixea’s beautiful face faded into the background as old memories buried deep in his mind surged forward one after another, memories that he had not thought about in years.

His thoughts travelled all the way back to his childhood, back to the glittering purple castle of the Mistborn family.

Back to the days when Clara would sit beside him and tell him stories about his family, his homeland, and the people whom he barely remembered.

And among those countless stories was one detail that had remained deeply engraved in his memory.

He remembered that his mother, Eleanor Mistborn, had once been a teacher at the prestigious New Moon Magic Academy, as mentioned by the servants of his family castle.1

They always spoke about their mother’s workplace with proud faces as if she were their daughter, making them proud.

And comparing everything, he realized that it might be the same New Moon Magic academy about which Shixea had just spoken.

The realization struck Ethan so suddenly that even he could not immediately suppress the emotions that rose within his heart.

He didn’t show any of it on his face.

Instead, Ethan suddenly let out a soft sigh and leaned back slightly in his chair before speaking in a calm voice that seemed completely unaffected by everything that had been discussed until now. fгeewebnovёl.com

"Alright, I agree to do your task, but there is a condition that you have to fulfill on your side for me."

He paused briefly before continuing. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

"And if you don’t agree to my condition, then remember that no matter how many veiled threats you make towards me, it won’t change anything."

For the first time since entering the room, genuine delight appeared on Shixea’s face.

She had spent a considerable amount of effort talking to this stubborn young man, and hearing him finally agree made her feel that all her persuasion had not been wasted.

For a moment, she even believed that Ethan had finally curbed some of his arrogance and had started thinking rationally.

However, that delight froze almost immediately, and the smile on her face became slightly stiff when she heard the word "condition."

A faint trace of caution appeared in her heart, as by now, she had already realized that Ethan was not someone who could be judged by his age.

Every conversation with him felt like a battle of patience and hidden intentions, making her instinctively careful whenever he spoke.

Still maintaining her smile, she looked at him and asked cautiously,

"And what might that condition be, Young Master Eryndor?"
