Afraid of being separated in the crowd, Lu Yunque held Yun Zijin’s wrist the entire time.
Only after they finally had their tickets checked and were inside the theater did Lu Yunque reluctantly let go.
"Our seats are in the third row. Let’s go."
Although Lu Yunque had never seen a movie in a public theater before, he was perfectly capable of handling a simple task like finding their seats.
The moment Yun Zijin and Lu Yunque walked in, many of the people who had seen them outside felt the thrill of opening a blind box and finding a rare prize.
’Who would’ve thought? Even an overbearing CEO goes out to see a movie with his girlfriend!’
Lu Yunque had no idea what these people were thinking. If he did, he would have surely given them a look of profound approval.
"This looks like an animated movie..."
Yun Zijin hadn’t looked closely at the ticket when she got it. Only after finding her seat did she remember to check the movie’s title.
Big Fish and Begonia. ’The title sounds rather poetic,’ she thought.
"Let’s see what it’s like."
Lu Yunque hadn’t seen it either. Since he wasn’t familiar with films, he had given Mo Bin full responsibility for the arrangements.
Since they were already here, Yun Zijin wasn’t about to change her mind and leave.

"Let’s watch the movie first."
’I’m not about to start my first relationship in a dark movie theater,’ Yun Zijin thought. ’There has to be a proper confession, right? Otherwise, how embarrassing would that be for me?’
Lu Yunque noticed the tips of her ears turning red, and the corners of his mouth lifted in a slight smile.
’Looks like today’s date is yielding some results after all,’ he thought.
Although it was an animated movie, Yun Zijin thought the quality was quite good. She just wasn’t a big fan of the plot.
’Still, Hua Country’s animation industry is still developing,’ she mused. ’To reach this level of quality is already quite impressive.’
As the movie ended and people began to leave, the social butterfly from earlier saw Yun Zijin and Lu Yunque getting up and hurried over.
"Hey! Would it be okay if I got your contact info? We could hang out together sometime!"
"We’re both students at Huaqing University. What about you?"
The girl had hurried over to get her contact information before everyone had left the theater.
’Huaqing University... Isn’t that right next to Dijing University?’
Even so, Yun Zijin wasn’t the type to casually give her contact information to a stranger.
"Sorry."
Although Lu Yunque thought the girl was pretty sharp, he wouldn’t casually give his contact information to a stranger either.

Yun Zijin didn’t know what to say, and Lu Yunque seemed to be on the verge of speaking several times but could never quite muster the courage.
The car drove into the Jade Lake District and pulled up to Building 101. After Yun Zijin got out, Lu Yunque followed her.
"Zijin!"
Hearing Lu Yunque call out to her, Yun Zijin stopped and turned to face him.
The seven members of Zero One shared a look and quietly got into the elevator. It was best not to interfere with the Young Miss’s private romantic affairs.
"What is it?"
"About our date today... what did you think of me?"
"You’re very nice."

Lu Yunque had completely lost the confidence he usually had when chewing out his subordinates.
"Mr. Lu, this isn’t like you,"

Yun Zijin raised an eyebrow. "That’s your decision to make. Don’t go blaming me for it."
’The last thing she wanted was a reputation as some kind of femme fatale leading a CEO astray.’
"Of course. This is my decision, and it has nothing to do with you.
You should head up. I’ll message you when I get home."
Since Yun Zijin was willing to see where things went, Lu Yunque decided he would treat her according to the standards of a model, doting boyfriend.
’Reporting his whereabouts every day was the bare minimum.’
"Okay, I’m heading up."
With that, Yun Zijin turned, walked briskly into the lobby, and got into the elevator.
Only when he could no longer see her did Lu Yunque get back in the car and have the driver take him to his apartment near the Lu Group headquarters.
From a window in one of the Jade Lake buildings, Xia Jiajiao watched from her balcony as Lu Yunque’s car drove away. When she saw which building he had just come from, her expression turned ugly.
"Yun Zijin! Why?! Why?! I knew Brother Yun Que first! How dare you swoop in and steal him from me!"
"Yun Zijin, I won’t let you get away with this!"
