"Aren’t you and Yun Zijin supposed to be closer than sisters? She knew you were coming, so would she really leave you to come here all by yourself?"
On the other end of the line, Ren Hui was clearly skeptical of Qin Sitong’s explanation.
It was a well-known fact in their dorm that Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong were close.
"I’m not a helpless baby who needs Zijin to escort me everywhere. You’ve got enough time on your hands to call me, so have you arrived yet or not?"
Qin Sitong’s tone was impatient, and there was more than a little genuine annoyance in it.
"Of course I’m here. Just message me when you arrive, and I’ll come down to get you."
Qin Sitong and Yun Zijin exchanged a look for a second before she replied, "Don’t go to all that trouble. Just tell me which private room it is, and I’ll have a server take me there."
When Ren Hui offered to come down and get her, Qin Sitong instinctively refused.
She didn’t trust Ren Hui at all.
Ren Hui paused on the other end, probably realizing she had zero credibility with Qin Sitong, but she agreed in the end.
Qin Sitong and Ren Hui had nothing more to say to each other, so they quickly ended the call.
Qin Sitong soon received a message from Ren Hui with the room number and immediately showed it to Yun Zijin.
"You go in first. I’ll wait five minutes and then follow. If anything happens, remember to shout my name."
If she told Qin Sitong to say something else, she might not react in time. Shouting her name was easy to recognize, and it would also give Zero One and the others a better reason to barge into the room and protect Qin Sitong.
Qin Sitong nodded, showing she understood.
When Qin Sitong returned to Sijie Restaurant, the receptionist’s eyes flickered with surprise upon seeing her.
"Hello, how may I help you?"
Though it was the first time they’d had a customer leave and come right back today, the receptionist remained perfectly polite.
"Someone just called me. My friend booked private room 0403. Could you please have someone show me the way up?"
Yun Zijin didn’t stay by Qin Sitong’s side, but she had Ling Qi follow her from a distance, just in case something happened and she needed immediate help.
「Room 0403.」
Ren Hui sat beside Sun Zi. The entire room was wreathed in smoke, filled with the stench of cheap cigarettes.
If it weren’t for her need to suck up to Sun Zi, Ren Hui would have found the environment utterly nauseating.
But she had no choice. After all, the Ren Family’s company had been running into frequent problems lately, and its cash flow was starting to dry up. She was counting on a rich kid like Sun Zi to patch up the hole for the family business.
Ideally, she hoped the Sun Family would lend money to the Ren Family, helping their company get through this crisis.
But she had been with Sun Zi for so long, and he had never given her any substantial help. He didn’t even pay when they went on dates; she was the one who footed the bill most of the time.
’Thinking about it now,’ Ren Hui mused, ’it feels less like I have a boyfriend and more like I have a freeloader who only knows how to ask for money.’
But Ren Hui had fought hard for this opportunity, and she certainly wasn’t going to give it up easily.
"So? When are your dormmates getting here?"
As Sun Zi spoke, he picked up a glass of alcohol and forced it into Ren Hui’s mouth.
Li Cui was sitting in the farthest corner of the room, not daring to make a sound, terrified someone would remember she was there.
Forced to drink the glass of alcohol, Ren Hui choked and coughed for a while, her face turning noticeably red.
"S-Soon... she’s already at the restaurant. I just sent her the room number."
Ren Hui took a moment to recover before she finally found her voice again, her speech becoming clearer.
Hearing Ren Hui’s words, Li Cui shot her head up and stared at her.
She couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t enough for Ren Hui to drag her into this mess; now she was setting her sights on Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong.

Ren Hui noticed Li Cui’s movement. Seeing the shocked look in her eyes, Ren Hui’s lips curled into a mocking smile.
’My life is already in the gutter, so on what grounds do a commoner like Qin Sitong and an orphan like Yun Zijin get to live so well?’
’Besides, after just one summer break, Yun Zijin suddenly became rich. Who knows where she got all that money? For all I know, she’s even wilder and trashier than I am behind closed doors.’
’If that’s the case, isn’t it a great deal to use Yun Zijin to buy myself a better life?’
Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong had no idea what Ren Hui was plotting.
At that moment, led by a server, Qin Sitong finally arrived at private room 0403. Yun Zijin followed about ten meters behind her.
"Could you please open the door for me?"
Instead of messaging Ren Hui and giving her a heads-up, Qin Sitong asked the server directly.
The server, thinking Qin Sitong simply didn’t want to spoil her friends’ fun, took a master key card from their uniform pocket.
With a light swipe, the door was unlocked.
The moment Qin Sitong was about to open the door and enter the room, Yun Zijin had two of Zero One’s people move up to follow closely behind her.
The room was wreathed in smoke. The second she opened the door, Qin Sitong was hit by the thick smell and nearly choked.
Entering the room, Qin Sitong didn’t close the door tightly. ’Zijin will be here in a minute,’ she thought.
To keep Ren Hui and the others from noticing the door, Qin Sitong immediately went on the offensive.
"Ren Hui, is this how your boyfriend treats his guests?"
Seeing that there wasn’t a single proper dish on the table and that there were several unfamiliar men in the room besides Li Cui, Qin Sitong frowned slightly.
This was clearly not a proper dinner invitation.
"You said your boyfriend was treating our dorm to dinner. Why are there other people here?"
Even if it meant being called tactless, Qin Sitong asked the question anyway.
’If something is really wrong, I’m turning around and walking out of this room right now.’
"These are my boyfriend’s friends. Since he’s treating our dorm, he can’t just ignore his own friends, can he?
Don’t worry, they’re all decent guys. We’re just having a meal. You don’t mind, do you?"
Now that Qin Sitong was here, Ren Hui had no intention of letting her leave so easily.
Just as Qin Sitong was about to turn and leave, Ren Hui stood up, grabbed her arm, and pushed her down into a seat.

"Why don’t you ask her yourself?"

The way these men were talking was so disgusting it made Qin Sitong’s stomach turn, yet Ren Hui still managed to respond with a smile.
"She’s pretty, right? There’s an even more stunning one on the way. I’ll introduce you to both of them when she gets here."
