Lu Yunque glanced at the assistant beside him. The assistant understood immediately, took out his phone, and stepped aside to make the call.
The residential complex was huge. The group walked for a long time without even covering half of it. The sun was already high overhead, but the area was deserted—they couldn’t even find a place to buy a bottle of water.
"Ah, we should have rented one of those little electric scooters to get in. Otherwise, we’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. There isn’t even a convenience store."

"Aunt Hongying, it’s me! These are my friends. I brought them here to support your business!"
Yun Zijin had worked here part-time during summer break, so she was fairly familiar with the owner.
"These are all your friends? Wonderful. Every one of them is quite handsome. Come, come, sit down! Here’s the menu. Order whatever you like."
It was lunchtime, so the restaurant was quite crowded.
But the restaurant was spacious enough that the group could squeeze in and find a place to sit.
