Chapter 908: Chapter 908: Bibi The Wealthy Target

Draconic Heaven.

A couple of arkships zoomed through the chaotic skies, chased by a swarm of Creation Dragons.

One Creation Dragon in particular among the hundreds was clad in fiery orange flames that caused it to have a dominating appearance.

"That is the arkship belonging to the one they call Commander Bibi, capture it and bring him in alive!" Shouted the fiery Creation Dragon.

The arkships that were moving fast at the front were all vessels of the wolf’s vassal force. And all of them were actually moving at warp speed.

For these Dragons to actually be able to chase after these arkships meant that they had to at least be tier 7 or above.

And that was correct.

The fiery dragon himself was an imperial general and his power level was at the peak of tier seven, he was at a stage where most Dragons could not even come close to standing on the same ground as he was.

The war in Draconic Heaven had already raged for a week now and many had died on both sides.

Yet, many more were starting to come forward, and it was looking like the war would not end anytime soon.

Within a week, the whole of Draconic Heaven was turned into a chaotic realm. Many planets and floating continents had been shattered completely.

The Central Coverage was drenched in the stench of blood, and the silver sky was tainted by a disgusting, red hue.

It was clear that the forces of the lion hegemony were seriously going at their enemies with full force and they were definitely successful in their attacks.

Unfortunately or fortunately, the dragons and their allies were also fighting back.

Unlike the lion who had vassals that could turn into meat swarms without care, the dragons had to be very careful.

Sure, they had allies and subrace vassals to supplement but they still had to think of themselves.

They had tried out many strategies over the course of the week but they knew that they had ended up taking on the most was the Key Figure Targeting strategy.

The dragons, or most of them, had decided to leave the brunt of the work of war to the other allies and sub-races who were participating in it.

Instead, they would focus on killing specific people. It didn’t matter to them whether there was security or strong defenses, once they identified a target and found an opportunity, they would do their best to kill him or her.

That was what they had been doing for a while now and they had actually been very successful with their strategies.

A lot of individuals, many of whom had been with Kael from Eridoria had been killed in the last week.

They might not have been very close to the All-King but they had been amassing competence-based and politically related power since that time.

It was only natural that by now, they would have become important figures worth targeting in this war.

The All-King had left Eridoria with millions of creatures back then, most of them had integrated into various forces and societies, even the lions.

An example was the Prides that had joined Kael right from the start when he first conquered that mountain.

Many of them now had their own clans and controlled vassal forces for themselves with their own portfolio of planets as well as territories.

Unfortunately, a few of them have been killed off by the dedicated team of Creation Dragons.

The Dragons knew what they were doing. They knew that a snake was only as deadly as its fangs.

Cut off the head, the brain, and it was nothing but a squirming and harmless lump of meat.

And so, they set out to do that with frightening efficiency.

That was what led them to this current chase that was happening right now. They had set their eyes on a certain figure that they learned was close to the All-King in the old days when he just started out.

Commander Bibi.

He was still alive and kicking. And he was also participating in this war.

Although Commander Bibi had fallen off after Ralph took over, he was still a high-ranking member of the Wolf Vassal State.

He was the direct advisor and mentor to the Master of Wolfkind, a decorated hunter amongst hunters in the Society of Wolves community. He was also the Pack leader of a massive wolf pack that owned multiple Hunting Fields and a fleet of arkships and even the latest arkworlds.

Commander Bibi was and had become a very powerful and wealthy wolf. To hear that he was participating in this war was a dream come true for the Dragons.

It was like a birthday cake falling into the laps of a poor orphan child who had not eaten in two days.

Of course, they would seek to devour the opportunity. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

That was why the fiery Creation Dragon was currently chasing after Commander Bibi.

This time, Commander Bibi was too valuable to just kill him outright.

The Fiery Creation Dragon was an imperial general and he knew the value of war prisoners.

If they could capture Commander Bibi alive, they might be able to forcefully extract some valuable information before they killed him. They might even be able to exchange him for some deals with the wolves or the lions.

The latter possibility seemed very unlikely but it was worth a shot.

The Fiery Creation Dragon shot forward, his serpentine body swimming through the chaos in pursuit of the fleet of arkships.

Around them, thousands of cannon beams were flying around, having been shot from different angles.

Gravity was very wonky in this region. It was hard to tell what was up and what was down.

It didn’t matter anyway since everyone was trying to kill each other.

As the Fiery Creation Dragon general continued his pursuit, he wondered to himself what would even prompt Commander Bibi to come to this place.

Then, just when the fiery Creation Dragon was hoping that the fleet of arkships would run out of energy and start slowing down, something happened.

*AWOOOOOOO!*

*AWOOOOO!*

*AWOOOO!*

*AWOOOO!*

*AWOOOOOOOO!*

Multiple deafening howls pierced through the noisy atmosphere, bringing with them a sudden stun that created confusion amongst the imperial general and his team of a hundred-plus smaller dragons.

Suddenly, coming out from everywhere was a host of arkships, each with the brand of the Wolf Vassal forces. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

The imperial general did not relent. He was experienced. He understood with a glance that they may have been led into an ambush.

But it didn’t matter to him. He had survived ambushes and had fought the wolves in the past, he had some familiarity with how they fought.

"Be very careful, the wolves have begun an ambush and they hunt in groups.

Our target is Commander Bibi, we should attempt to get him alive but if we can’t do that, we shall settle for his head.

Rocket Spear Formation!"

The imperial general shouted.

He roared, baring his teeth and brandishing his little claws as he swam to the gathering group of arkships.

He slowed down a little while allowing tens of dragons to fly in front of him. The remaining stayed close by or behind him.

All the dragons on his team formed a living dragon spear that began to rotate as they approached the fleet of hunting arkships.

Meanwhile, the arkship that was allegedly harbouring Commander Bibi continued to speed ahead.

The dragons started to expend their energy, knowing fully well that they would collide with the arkships.

Hell was let loose.

Hundreds of cannon beams were shot toward the dragon spear formation and by some miracle, they were able to weave through it.

Many of them died. At least one dragon was shot off from formation every hour and from the looks of it, they were willing to die.

It didn’t matter. Many of them had died in the last and they were already used to the occupational risk of being a fighter in this war.

It wasn’t like they had a choice.

The dragon spear formation began to tear through the collection of arkships that sought to stand in their way. They pierced through, using their various energies to smash through multiple metallic hulls in pursuit of their target.

At the same time, their target arkship.was starting to slow down. Everything costs energy, even the warp speed engines had to cost something. They were not perpetual motion machines.

As it slowed down, the imperial general and his soldiers caught up. Victory was right before their eyes.

And this time, there was hardly anyone to stop them.

Nothing.

*BAM!*

The tip of the dragon spear formation slammed into the side of the massive white arkship, tearing out the side and penetrating the inside.

The command chamber was exposed and standing ready for battle was a massive muscular wolf with scars and magical armaments on his body.

The spear formation was dispersed and the imperial general crawled on the side of the arkship, peeking into the moon-sized vessel through the hole he had created.

"Commander Bibi..." the imperial general said, his body lighting up on fire once again, "Surrender or die!"
