Six months of peace went quickly and allowed the party to train, research, and visit a few other planets.
It was New years eve and they played games, drank, laughed, and reminisced about how crazy the last year of their lives flew by.
"I can’t believe Xander turns one next month! He’s already so big and strong! Brie said while dancing with Sora.
"I know, and he’s speaking clearly and eating regular foods. I’m glad he finally got past the teething. That was rough! Thank goodness for elven capsules. It’s nice of Faye and Aegir to make those for us." Brie said while Sora twirled her around.
"Lets not forget our 3 year anniversary is this year! July 14th!" Sora said as he gave his wife a kiss.
"Mom, dad, come on. I’m trying to train here." Xander said with some sass.
"What are you working on Xander? If your mother wants to kiss me, I’m always going to let her kiss me. One day you’ll understand."
"Whatever."
"Xander! Manners! What’s going on, you’ve been crabby all day," Sora said sternly.
"We haven’t been able to find Azazel since they cleared the fifth planet. They only have half the planets left and if they have a two year deadline..." Xander paused and counted the numbers on his fingers. "That means we have a year and a half before they return and who knows, it could be earlier than that!" Xander whined.
"I think someone’s tired, do you want us to tuck you in?"
Xander lit up. "Yes! Bedtime story!"
Sora scooped up the 3`3" 40 pound 11 month old and carried him happily into his new bedroom.
Sora and Brie told him a bed time story, tucked him in and he was fast asleep.
"He’s growing up too fast. I think we should get him a pet for his first birthday, what do you think?" Sora asked Brie. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
"I think that’s a wonderful idea! He loves Koda so much but he knows Connor will always be his companion. It’s really nice having those two with us. I’m glad they’ve both improved emotionally. Ignis and Leila have helped tremendously.
"Speaking of which, which soul is Leila supposed to be with? Remember when Athena reminded us the soul wasn’t very far–Ignis showed up two days later and she was already dating Lionel. Which one is it?!"
"Oh Sora, it’s obviously Ignis. I love Lionel but think about it logically. Leila is a dragoness and a mythical creature. Ignis is one of four phoenixes and also a mythical creature. They have an undeniable attraction and I wonder what kind of baby they would have. A phoenix and a dragon? What does that even make?" Brie put her hand on her chin, tapping it deep in thought.
"Well, I don’t know what a dragon and a phoenix make but I know what you and I can make," Sora said while teleporting them to their bedroom. Xander started sleeping on his own shortly after their return for Nexus, so they could make use of their sound proof walls as frequently as they wanted.

"Hey Leila! I was thinking, Sera and Lucious are due any day now. Would you like to help me go pick out a gift for them tomorrow?" Ignis asked politely.
Leila blushed and blurted out, "Yes! Let’s go! I mean, sorry, yes we can go tomorrow."
Ignis smiled and said, "You’re beautiful when you’re excited." He grabbed her hand, gave it a kiss and told her goodnight.
Leila sighed as he walked away, but before he got too far, she teleported to him.
"I haven’t seen you in forever! You look more beautiful each time I see you! What’s up, gorgeous?" Ignis said with a smile as Leila formed in front of him.
"You didn’t give me a hug! I love your hugs." Leila pretended to pout.
Ignis wrapped his muscular arms and body around her tightly as the flames from his body swirled in their usual unpredictable fashion. Leila pulled him really close and gave him a kiss.
Ignis quickly pulled her in tightly and brushed one of his hands through her hair. He kissed her passionately, and his flames engulfed her body.
Leila didn’t hesitate to return the kiss and afterwards, she made him promise he wouldn’t forget to take her tomorrow.
"Of course not! How could I forget about you?" he said with a giant smile.
"I had a question about your flames. Why am I the only one who can feel their heat? It feels so amazing!"
"I’m not sure, but it’s probably because we’re both mythical creatures. I’m a hybrid and you and your late husband were the only dragons who could transform into humans. I can fully transform into a phoenix, but it takes a significant amount of energy and it usually leaves me worn out for a few days. If I use my wings and expand my fire, I can maintain that form for at least a week. You could always feed me a fireball, though!" Ignis said with a massive smile.
"Have you ever worried your flames would burn others?"
"When I was a kid, yeah. That was always my biggest fear. Hurting someone because I’d burn them or set them on ablaze. As I grew up and I learned how safe they were, I never thought about it! I’m glad you enjoy their warmth. That makes me happy. I’m going to get some sleep, I’ll see you tomorrow for our date!" Ignis said as he gave Leila a quick kiss and stepped into his room.
’I don’t know what Athena’s playing at! Why can’t she just tell me and not give these silly little hints that he’s right in front of me! Lionel was right in front of me but now Ignis is here,’ Leila thought as she watched Ignis walk into his room. Her room was three doors down, so she went and changed into pajamas.
’I guess I’ll just take an elven capsule tonight. This is so annoying. I’m 10,000 years old and feel like I’m a high schooler torn between two boys!"

Sera woke Lucious in a panic around 3:00 AM.
"Yes my love? Lucious said with a kind smile, his blue eyes glimmering as he felt her belly and gave her a kiss.
"She’s kicking up a storm!"
"I think my water broke! I don’t think I peed the bed..." Sera said as she blushed.
Lucious laughed. "Take my hand, we’ll teleport to the hospital room and I’ll get Sora and Brie."
"Thank you so much, handsome. I don’t know what I’d do without you. I’m so glad Sasha chose Levi," Sera said with a big laugh.
"Me too. It worked out for both of us. Now we’re going to have an original vampire with the most beautiful, caring and kind-hearted demon in this universe. Even if she doesn’t have the shadow, I won’t be upset. I just hope she doesn’t look TOO much like you... all the boys will be chasing her all the time!" Lucious teased.
He teleported her to the hospital room, got her a glass of blood and a blue elven capsule. These capsules relieved pain naturally using a unique combination of healing, calming, relaxation and buffing elven magic.
"Thank you, but hurry!" Sera said as she felt a large cramp in her stomach.
Lucious teleported to Sora’s bedroom door and knocked several times.
Brie and Sora both answered excitedly. "Is it time?!"
"I believe so! She’s in the hospital room. I’ll grab Celeste and meet you there!"
