"Why the sudden stomachache? Is it bad?"

Shen Nian nodded, letting Lu Cheng help her out of the car. He then led her toward a small hill up ahead.

Shen Nian understood. ’We’re in the middle of nowhere. There’s probably no other choice but to find a spot nearby to... take care of business.’

Watching Lu Cheng and Shen Nian get out of the car and walk off, one of the men behind them couldn’t help but call out.

"Group leader, where are you taking your lady?"

The words were barely out of his mouth when the man next to him slapped him. The speaker instantly understood and quickly ducked his head.

Thankfully, Lu Cheng didn’t turn around at his comment. The man only breathed a sigh of relief after he’d watched Lu Cheng and Shen Nian walk into the distance.

"Phew, that scared me to death!"

"You’ve got some nerve, making fun of our group leader like that!"

"When would I ever dare make fun of the group leader? It just slipped out! You can’t tell me you weren’t all thinking the same thing!"

Of course, they were. But they all knew what their group leader was like. For the sake of their own hides, they would never, ever say something like that to his face!

But now that the group leader was far away, they naturally didn’t have as many reservations.
