"Why did you call me over? Didn’t we agree to see less of each other for a while?"

The other person with Qin Xueling was none other than Yin Yang. He looked at her, his expression a little puzzled.

"Of course I called you over for something important. What, getting impatient already? You certainly weren’t like this when you were trying to pursue Shen Nian!"

"Don’t mention her to me! How dare she treat me like that! I graced a tramp like her with my attention—she should have been grateful! But she actually dared to hit me!"

That day at the Lu Family’s home, Yin Yang had been frightened by Shen Nian’s frenzy. Once he collected himself, his heart filled with nothing but resentment for her.

In Yin Yang’s eyes, Shen Nian should have been his property. His interest in her was a great blessing he was bestowing upon her. He never imagined she would actually reject him for that man from the Lu Family, and on top of that, humiliate him in front of so many people!

"Don’t be angry. Once we succeed, I guarantee she’ll come crawling back to you. Then, she’ll be yours to do with as you please!"

"Are you sure this will work? The Lu Family already knows about what happened. The things you did won’t affect her!"

"Hmph. You underestimate the power of rumors. Otherwise, why do you think they haven’t dared to say a word to the public about what happened at their house that day? It’s because they’re afraid the gossip will ruin the Lu Family’s reputation!"

"So, tell me. What do you want me to do?"

"You have a relative who works at the county Education Bureau, don’t you?"

"I do, but what does that have to do with our plan?"

"It has everything to do with it. Here, take a look at this."

As she spoke, Qin Xueling pulled out a report card.

"A report card? There’s no way you could get grades this good."

Yin Yang glanced at the report card in Qin Xueling’s hand, his expression one of pure astonishment. He was no stranger to Qin Xueling, so he knew perfectly well what her grades were like. There was absolutely no way she could have earned scores this high!

"Of course it’s not mine. That’s why I need your help... to make it mine!"

"You... Don’t tell me this is Shen Nian’s report card."

The reason Yin Yang had taken an interest in Shen Nian was because she was beautiful and had good grades. Plus, the Shen family absolutely doted on her. Marrying a woman like that wouldn’t just bring honor to his family; it would be hugely beneficial for him as well!

At the thought that a man from the Lu Family had claimed such a woman, another flash of resentment crossed Yin Yang’s face.

"So what if it is? She’ll never see this report card!"

"But... this is a major violation. I’m not sure my relative will help."

"You have to help me. Don’t forget, we’re in the same boat now. Besides, if I have grades like these and can get into a good university, won’t that be good for you too?"

"I’ll see what I can do... But shouldn’t you give me a little something first?"

"You devil. Didn’t you already have your fun earlier? What, still not satisfied?"

As he spoke, Yin Yang sidled up to Qin Xueling and his hands began to roam. Clearly, this was not the first time this had happened.

"Satisfied? How could I possibly be satisfied!"

After a flurry of rustling, the room fell quiet once more.

"But now that you’ve taken Shen Nian’s report card, are you sure she won’t come after you?"

Yin Yang picked up the report card Qin Xueling had tossed aside, a look of sated satisfaction on his face as he looked at her and asked.

"Hmph, she won’t. Even if she went to the school now, she’d be swamped by all the rumors! I refuse to believe that after all that gossip, she’d still have the nerve to show her face at school to get a report card! Or the nerve to even think about going to college!"

Qin Xueling said, her expression sinister. The malice she felt toward Shen Nian was on full display. Whereas before she might have concealed it in front of Yin Yang, there was no longer any need.

However, the words had barely left Qin Xueling’s lips when a voice suddenly rang out from outside.
