Sun Xiaojie stared at Shen Nian standing before her, taking a long moment to snap back to reality.

When someone had finally walked over, she had initially thought it was a customer. But to her surprise, the girl immediately asked to see their person in charge.

’This young woman’s voice is really lovely, though,’ Sun Xiaojie thought. ’Her articulation is so clear and her tone is so sweet.’

"Hello?"

When the employee in front of her didn’t respond, Shen Nian spoke again.

"Oh, I’m sorry. Did you want to see our person in charge?"

The sound of Shen Nian’s voice snapped Sun Xiaojie back to her senses. ’It’s the middle of my shift; I can’t be spacing out. Even if the produce section is doing terribly, I still have to do my part.’

"That’s right. I have some business I’d like to discuss with the person in charge."

"Business?"

Sun Xiaojie looked at Shen Nian. ’She looks even younger than me,’ she thought, ’but here she is, talking about a business deal with the manager. That’s pretty surprising.’

’Then again, judging by her clothes and her demeanor, she must be from a wealthy family!’

"In that case, please wait a moment. I’ll go get our manager."

"Thank you."

Shen Nian smiled and nodded. ’Good,’ she thought, ’at least I didn’t run into any weird or difficult employees.’

At Shen Nian’s words, Liu Qiang’s expression shifted slightly, and his gaze took on a deeper meaning as he looked at her.
