Shen Nian stood rooted to the spot, gazing at Lu Cheng. His words sent ripples spreading through her heart.

For the first time, someone so desperately wanted to be a part of her life, and it seemed she had no reason to refuse.

Shen Nian took Lu Cheng to where she attended classes, where she relaxed between them, and even to the quiet spots she liked to escape to on her own.

She took Lu Cheng to every single place she used to frequent.

In that moment, they were just like any other students, holding hands and dashing carefreely across the campus.

Two hours had passed by the time they finished their campus tour and were ready to head home.

Though a little tired, both Shen Nian and Lu Cheng were incredibly happy with their first date.
