After walking a little way, Fu Mingxue saw Qin Wenhao.
"Didn’t you say you were going home? Why are you still here?"
Qin Wenhao looked at her. "Waiting for you."
Fu Mingxue rolled her eyes at him.
’She hadn’t forgotten how quickly he’d slipped away just now!’
Qin Wenhao saw her expression and knew she was displeased, so he explained, "She’s a woman. It wouldn’t be appropriate for me to get into a scene with her on the street. You saw it too—she’s shameless."
His words made Fu Mingxue laugh.
’She hadn’t expected him to say that.’
"You’re right. She really is shameless. She was just kneeling there, begging me to take her with me!"
’She figured Fu Mingya had her sights set on Qin Wenhao.’

Uninterested in talking about them anymore, she said, "Let’s go. We should head home. By the way, did you get the train tickets for tomorrow?"

Then, a thought occurred to her. She pulled Fu Mingxue aside and asked in a low voice, "When we get to Beijing City, are we staying at your son-in-law’s place first?"
"Mom, no need. I already asked a friend to buy a courtyard home for us there."

"Mom, I asked a friend from a newspaper agency to buy it for me a while ago. It was with the payment for my submissions to the paper. I never told you about it, but the money was quite good. I wanted it to be a surprise."
