What the hell happened?!
Michael wanted nothing more than to find a quiet place and think about what had happened. But he can’t. There was still danger abound.
He looked down at the Island Prison just as a huge explosion burst out of the floor, sending out bits of stone flying everywhere.
The four Ersatz Nascent cultivators emerged from the underground. Huntrax followed soon after, his face bloodied and his body battered. He didn’t look like he was in a good shape.
Michael had watched everything happen using his Mini Drones. And it seemed that the Nascent Influence had distracted the Heavenly Knight to the point where the Ersatz Diamond leaders were able to take advantage against him.
They battered him with their powers, and Huntrax, still shaken with disbelief, was unable to fully protect himself from the onslaught.
It looked like it wouldn’t end well.
Michael could easily leave this place if he wanted. They don’t sense him at all. And he had his Shadow Teleportation locked and loaded to whisk him away at a moment’s notice.
But he couldn’t. Not when Huntrax was in danger. Not when these Ersatz warriors knew how powerful he was. They would return to their base and paint a target on his back. freёwebnoѵel.com
So, he took a deep breath and summoned all of his Mini Drones. A thousand Drones hovered on the skies of the Prison Island, with nothing but the oceans and the crashing waves around them.
He just needed to disrupt them enough so that Huntrax could finish the job.
And so, that’s what he did.
He dedicated each of the Ersatz leaders their own horde of Mini Drones. They would rain hellfire upon them with just a single thought from him. A thousand Unity Guns going off at the same time would surely be enough.
And so, he waited. And waited. Until the perfect opportunity came.
The three Ersatz leaders converged upon Huntrax, ready to finish the job.
And it was at that point where they were all bumping shoulder to shoulder did he pull the trigger.
The skies brightened, and they all whipped their heads at the sudden impulse of power.
And above, they saw a sky full of prismatic stars, each one shining and shimmering as if they were heavenly bodies themselves. They stared at it for a moment, both amazed and confused by its appearance.
Then, the Unity Gun shot towards their heads.
Their eyes widened and they used their natural Nascent Influence defense to fend off the thousand Unity Guns attacking them.
Another explosion rocked the Island Prison. A cloud of lights obscured everything as Unity destroyed anything it touched.
This time, the quakes caused the waves to finally wash over and up the walls, reaching down into the floor and washing it of the blood that had pooled from the many bodies inside.
The four Ersatz Diamonds emerged from the chaos, coughing blood. Their clothes were tattered, bodies bloodied and battered. But they were fine.
They angrily stared up at the skies, snarling at the Drones who shot at them.
The Mini Drones flashed, before disappearing into nothingness, its invisibility skin activated.
But it was of no use. Three of the Nascent leaders charged upwards, destroying tens of Mini Drones with one swipe of their hands. Mithril bits sparked as they flew in the air like confetti.

He looked at Michael, who was now beside Huntrax trying to help the Heavenly Knight off his feet.
Michael’s head exploded out off his body as the Ersatz Diamond leader punched it away in an instant.
But instead of blood, only prismatic light leaked out of Michael’s neck. As it turned out, ’Michael’ was actually one of his Unity Clones!
The real Michael appeared behind the Ersatz leader, right hand raised and holding a metal gun in his hand, pointed point blank at the Ersatz leader’s head.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
He unloaded all the bullets in his gun straight at the man’s head.
The first merely bounced off the man’s head. The second caused his head to bounce forwards. The third burned through the hair and the skin. The fourth through the skull. And the fifth through the brain.
A Diamond Ersatz leader was dead. Just like that.
Michael let his arm fall, the gun still smoking in his hand.
He did it. He killed a Nascent Spirit cultivator several levels ahead of him!
Even Huntrax was stupefied. The Heavenly Knight was so shocked to see the Ersatz corpse drop in front of him that the shock from the Global Nascent Influence was completely overwhelmed, letting him get out of his stupor!
He gained his wits at the same time as the three Ersatz leaders came to get Michael’s head. Their eyes burned revenge.
Michael didn’t even move. He couldn’t. They were way too fast for his eyes. But he knew he didn’t have to.
Blood spurted out of the three Nascent Spirit cultivators as Huntrax appeared in front of them, his sling already shot.
They slumped forwards, landing right next to the corpse of their peer.
Finally, the Iron Prison had turned silent. Peaceful, with nothing but the oceans banging on the walls as ambient noise.
Michael looked at his gun and heaved a sigh of relief. He didn’t think it could work, but it did.
His purchase from the Drone Emporium had finally become useful. Without it, he wouldn’t have survived. He wouldn’t have won.
But even with this, he did not feel triumphant. He had every right to be. He won against these Nascent Spirit cultivators and claimed revenge against the Tri-star who had wronged them.
He would be gaining hundreds of Spirit from his killing of a Diamond Leader alone.
But he still felt unwell. They won this battle, but lost the war.
It wasn’t until Huntrax explained it to him did he fully understand why he felt this way.
