Chapter 1211: Chapter 1211: Confronting the Tiger

Jiang Xue spoke while taking out the milk that Little Reunion was drinking to show Mu Qiancheng.

Mu Qiancheng glanced at it, then put the milk back and said to Jiang Xue, "Is there a kitchen here? The child must be hungry by now, let’s make something for him to eat."

"Yes, there is. I’ll get something to make a bowl of egg custard for our son," Jiang Xue said, getting up and going to the next room, then came out with a few eggs.

Mu Qiancheng watched Jiang Xue come out of the next room, curious about what was inside, so he carried his son to the other room. When he opened it and saw the room full of supplies, he was stunned, completely surprised.

He never expected that Jiang Xue had gathered so many supplies, enough not only for Little Reunion but also for the three of them to last several months.

As he snapped back to reality and took a closer look at the supplies, he immediately understood. No wonder his little wife said she came to help; these supplies indeed proved she was here to help.

Reeling from the shock, Mu Qiancheng gently closed the room door and headed towards the kitchen. At that moment, Jiang Xue was busy making fire to cook the egg custard.

Seeing Mu Qiancheng coming over with Little Reunion, Jiang Xue smiled and said, "It will take a while. Why don’t you go play somewhere else for now?"

Mu Qiancheng nodded, then carried his son out. Although he had visited the space several times, he wasn’t as familiar with it as Little Reunion was.

Today, he had the chance to thoroughly explore Jiang Xue’s protective space. Calling it a protective space was not an exaggeration in the least.

Previously, they had encountered several dangers, and it was this space that had helped them. Otherwise, both he and Jiang Xue might have met with King Yama long ago.

As Mu Qiancheng thought about this, he continued to walk around the space with Little Reunion in his arms. He knew the space was big, but as he actually walked around, he found it was always bigger than he had imagined.

After walking for about half an hour, Mu Qiancheng was a bit tired and rested with Little Reunion in a pavilion. At this point, that Big Tiger spotted Little Reunion and immediately forgot Little Fox’s warning, running towards them enthusiastically.

Seeing the Big Tiger approaching him and Little Reunion, Mu Qiancheng grew nervous and watched it warily.

"Don’t come any closer!" Mu Qiancheng said, tightening his hold on Little Reunion, his other hand clenched into a fist, ready to strike at any moment.

The Big Tiger sensed Mu Qiancheng’s tension and wariness, looking at him and Little Reunion with a face full of grievance. It meant no harm; it just wanted to play with Little Reunion.

Mu Qiancheng couldn’t read the animal’s expression, yet somehow he sensed the Big Tiger’s grievance.

Grievance? Mu Qiancheng was taken aback, thinking he must be mistaken. What could this Big Tiger be aggrieved about when it was him who should be feeling that way?

Out of nowhere, a big tiger jumped out, startling him, and now it was blocking the way, making it impossible for him to leave.

So, the man and the tiger stood in a stalemate, neither understanding the other’s intentions.

As time ticked by, Mu Qiancheng grew a bit impatient. He wanted to leave but couldn’t; staying with the Big Tiger there wasn’t comfortable either.

On the contrary, Little Reunion didn’t fear the Big Tiger’s arrival at all. Instead, he happily waved his small hand at it.
