Chapter 1180: Chapter 1180: You’re So Impatient

From a distance, Mr. Mu and Housekeeper Lin saw Jiang Xue holding a child and carrying a thermos bucket walking towards them, and couldn’t help but smile.

"Master, the young madam and little young master are back." Housekeeper Lin said to Mr. Mu with a face full of joy. They had been waiting here for almost an hour.

Called Jiang Xue on the phone, but it was switched off. Went upstairs to knock on the door, but there was no one at home. In the end, with no other option, the two of them had to wait downstairs at her place, watchfully hoping for her return.

"Finally back." Mr. Mu let out a slight sigh of relief, then looked at Jiang Xue, who had already walked up to them, and said, "Xue’er, where did you run off to? I couldn’t reach your phone, and if you hadn’t come back, these old bones of mine wouldn’t have held on."

"Sorry, Grandpa, I went to the hospital." Jiang Xue looked at Mr. Mu with an apologetic face, she hadn’t expected Mr. Mu would come over today.

If she had known, she would have returned earlier.

"Went to the hospital?" Mr. Mu was stunned, and asked Jiang Xue, "Xue’er, were you ill, or was Little Reunion sick?"

Seeing Mr. Mu’s worried expression, Jiang Xue smiled and shook her head, saying, "Grandpa, neither I nor Little Reunion were sick, it’s my brother who had a car accident a few days ago and is currently hospitalized."

"What, the Lu Family’s kid had a car accident? Why didn’t you tell us earlier, otherwise we could have gone to the hospital to see him."

"Don’t worry, Grandpa, my brother is already fine, he’ll be discharged in a while."

"No way, Zi’an must go and see him tomorrow." Mr. Mu turned his head and instructed Housekeeper Lin: "Find some time to go to the hospital tomorrow."

"Okay, Master."

"Grandpa, let’s go home." Jiang Xue smiled while inviting Mr. Mu to head towards the staircase entrance. The place didn’t have an elevator, which was somewhat inconvenient. Especially for someone like Mr. Mu, who was getting on in years, climbing stairs was quite tiring.

Fortunately, Jiang Xue’s apartment was not too high up; after taking some breaks during climbing, they eventually reached her door. Jiang Xue took out the key and opened the door, leading the way inside.

"Grandpa, Housekeeper Lin, you rest for a while, I’ll get you something to drink." Jiang Xue said while heading towards the kitchen.

In this summer heat, Jiang Xue had specifically brewed some pear tea and put it in the fridge. She poured a cup for both Mr. Mu and Housekeeper Lin, bringing it to them.

When Little Reunion saw that the two had tea while he didn’t, he looked up at Jiang Xue and said, "Mama, baby wants to drink."

Hearing this, Jiang Xue laughed, then returned to the kitchen to pour a cup for Little Reunion and brought it out. Seeing he now had tea to drink as well, Little Reunion was quite happy, reaching out to grab the cup.

However, unexpectedly, the cup was too cold, which startled his little hand, causing him to quickly pull it back, and then he stared wide-eyed at the cup of water.

Seeing his adorable expression, Jiang Xue couldn’t help but laugh and said, "Son, got a chill, huh? Who told you to be so hasty?"

Jiang Xue reproached Little Reunion as she raised the cup, then held him on her lap and fed him the water.

Little Reunion was frightened by the coldness, so initially he didn’t dare to drink. Later, seeing Mr. Mu and Housekeeper Lin happily drinking, he slowly brought his mouth to the rim of the cup and gently took a sip.

Once he finished the sip, his entire eyes lit up, resembling a sparkling gem. Then he kicked his legs in excitement, moving his small mouth even closer to the cup for more, and began drinking heartily.
