Chapter 1118: Chapter 1118: Explain Yourself Clearly to Me

"And you... transferring your shares to an outsider, letting the company fall into someone else’s hands, do you have the audacity to make a scene here?" Old Mrs. Wilson loved Emerie, but the Wilson Corporation was his life’s work.

Emerie Wilson genuinely crossed Old Mrs. Wilson’s bottom line.

"An outsider?" Benjamin Walton laughed as he spoke, "So, in the old man’s heart, I’ve always been an outsider."

"Luckily, I made plans for myself. Otherwise, catering to your almost lifeless daughter for decades would have been nothing but suffering for me," Benjamin’s words caused Emerie’s heart to ache. In disbelief, she stared at him as if she never knew him and asked, "Benjamin, what did you say?"

"I said... I’m tired of you!" Now that Benjamin was sure of his victory, he naturally had nothing to worry about any longer, revealing his suppressed nature that had been hidden for years.

"Look at you, spoiled, willful, and not bright in the head—why did I marry you in the first place?" Benjamin looked Emerie up and down, his gaze like appraising goods made Emerie extremely ashamed.

No matter what, she’d been cherished from a young age, when had she ever suffered such humiliation?

"Benjamin, you bastard!" Emerie cursed, "You married me with ulterior motives!"

"What else?" Benjamin shook his head with amusement, pointing to his head, and said mockingly, "You’re really not right in the head. Do you think I would marry you if you weren’t the daughter of the Wilson Clan?"

Then, Benjamin looked at Old Mrs. Wilson and laughed dismissively, "Back then, your father agreed to you marrying me simply because he thought the Wilson Clan could suppress our Walton Family, and I would have to treat you like a goddess."

"But he forgot that anyone suppressed for too long would also want to turn things around," Benjamin scoffed, "I endured for decades and finally waited for this day."

"Dad, help me, drive him out! I want him ruined and never to come to a good end!" Emerie turned, grabbed Old Mrs. Wilson’s arm, and shook it vigorously, completely disregarding whether his health could take it.

"I can’t help you anymore," Old Mrs. Wilson shook off Emerie’s hand and said irritably, "Now, the Wilson Corporation is not under my control, it’s your husband who’s in charge!"

Old Mrs. Wilson didn’t say anything more, he simply gave Benjamin a deep, meaningful look, snorted significantly, and turned to leave.

The remaining board members didn’t have much to say. Eventually, a slightly older director suggested, "You should handle your family affairs first. We’ll discuss company matters afterwards, we won’t disturb you now."

Benjamin smiled slightly and nodded, "Alright, I’ll rearrange the company’s matters later."

After hearing this, those directors quickly left, unwilling to get involved in the Wilson family’s private affairs.

Once all the other directors had left, the large meeting room was left with only Benjamin and Emerie.

Emerie slammed on the table angrily and shouted, "Benjamin, explain yourself clearly to me!"

"Explain what?" Benjamin sat leisurely in his chair, indifferent as he looked at Emerie, no longer showing any semblance of affection, he was clearly watching a clown’s farce.

"What’s with the child? How can you have a child?" Emerie was gasping heavily with anger.
