Chapter 1101: Chapter 1101: A Bit Scary

"Hey, but it scared the life out of me." Sophie Wilson patted her chest and said, "Luckily, you’re okay."

Lucy Wells smiled and said, "Sophie, I’m going to start work at the company tomorrow. I don’t want to stay at home. It’s just too boring."

Sophie Wilson looked at Lucy Wells speechlessly, "Okay, I notice you’re starting to develop in the direction of a career woman."

"Work is joyful." Lucy Wells chuckled, "Work is going smoothly and I can make money. I’m energized every day."

"Alright, career woman." Sophie Wilson raised her hands in surrender, "You can go to work, as long as my brother agrees."

"Him, once I tell him, he definitely won’t object." When mentioning Kai Bright, Lucy Wells’ smile softened a bit.

"Oh dear..." Sophie Wilson teased with a laugh, "Looks like my brother is now a henpecked husband."

"Not quite. The level isn’t enough. He still needs more training." Lucy Wells was becoming more lively now, and Sophie Wilson was happy to see this change in her.

"Ah, right." Sophie Wilson said, "This time’s incident was unforeseen trouble for you. It was because that group heard Hayley Cole wanted to find someone to teach you a lesson, they got this idea."

"But don’t worry. I’ll help you settle this score." When Sophie Wilson mentioned this, she guaranteed determinedly.

"Wasn’t that online revenge?" Lucy Wells asked in surprise.

Sophie Wilson burst into laughter, reached out, and slowly stirred her drink with a stirrer, "That’s just the beginning."

Lucy Wells: "..."

Sophie, you seem a bit... scary.

Sophie Wilson directly drove Lucy Wells home, and then turned her car to buy some treats.

She recently found a particularly tasty dessert shop. The stuff here is delicious, and of course, the price is quite attractive.

Having regained her memory, Sophie Wilson knew she had quite a bit of assets, so eating this kind of stuff wouldn’t cause her bankruptcy.

Recently, Lucy Wells wanted to lose weight and wouldn’t eat sweets, so Sophie Wilson had to wait until she sent Lucy away to buy them. Can’t ruin someone’s diet plan, right?

Sophie Wilson happily bought two portions, one for herself and one for her mom.

Just after buying the stuff and putting it in the car, the car window was suddenly slapped.

Sophie Wilson amusingly looked at Emerie Wilson, who wore a hostile expression, and said, "Good dogs stay off the road."

"Sophie Wilson, what else can you do besides being sharp-tongued?" Emerie Wilson asked bitterly.

"What I can do doesn’t matter, as long as it’s enough to handle you." Sophie Wilson sat in the car, smiling as she watched Emerie Wilson’s face rapidly change from anger, propping her head with one hand and elbow resting on the car door, and asked with a smile, "Emerie Wilson, I’m really curious, every time you come looking for trouble it ends badly, so why do you keep doing it?"

"Are you masochistic, and enjoy being bullied by me?" Sophie’s words successfully made Emerie Wilson’s face alternate between pale and dark, looking worse than a corpse.

Sophie Wilson sighed lightly. See, can’t outtalk her but still loves getting mad. Is there really nothing wrong with this Emerie Wilson?

Oh, she was wrong.

Emerie Wilson’s brain indeed had issues.

"Sophie Wilson, I just can’t stand what you do!" Emerie Wilson snarled through gritted teeth, "Wasn’t it you who exposed Hayley Cole’s matter online? Making such a fuss!"
