Chapter 1315: Chapter 1315: PK Begins 3

Thomas Fisher’s dissatisfaction was evident, and Autumn York found it hard to pretend not to notice. She raised her hand and tapped his arm, "You brat! Where are you planning to run off to?"

After tapping him, she gave her son a discontented glare.

"Do you believe I want to roam the world?" As soon as Autumn spoke, Thomas turned to sit facing her, staring at her without blinking, his expression not revealing much. She couldn’t tell whether he was joking or seriously asking.

No matter if Thomas was joking or serious, Autumn simply assumed he was joking and chose to ignore his remark.

"I want to talk business with you, so let’s not stray into small talk." She paused, then continued, "How are things between you and Evelyn now? When are you planning to bring Evelyn home to meet me and your dad?"

She included her husband in the conversation to avoid him being indifferent to the matter.

Having anticipated the topic beforehand, Thomas wasn’t surprised at all. After staring at his mom for a while, he slowly spoke, "You and Dad have already met Evelyn. Besides, you’re quite familiar with her. If you really want to see her, you could just go to the compound to find her."

He knew exactly what his mom meant, yet he intentionally took a roundabout way.

He simply didn’t want to bring Evelyn home because his mom would surely bombard them with endless questions. Since their relationship was fake, if they accidentally let something slip, he’d be criticized nonstop.

"You brat! What kind of talk is that? Us going to the compound to meet her." Autumn raised her hand to tap Thomas again, but just as she was about to, she stopped suddenly, "Could it be that Evelyn doesn’t want to come home with you to meet the parents?"

As she spoke, she silently lowered the hand she had just raised.

"It’s not time for us to meet the parents yet. Don’t be so impatient; patience is key." Thomas calmly glanced at the hand his mom had just put down, then followed it up to look at its owner.

Upon hearing this, Autumn suddenly became anxious, "Not time to meet the parents yet? You and Evelyn have been seeing each other for over two months; you should have met the parents already."

She wished her son could marry that girl now, so she wouldn’t worry all day.

"Meet the parents after only two months? That’s a bit too fast, isn’t it? We’ve agreed to introduce each other to our families a year from now." Thomas wasn’t making it up; he’d actually discussed it with Evelyn in advance, anticipating today’s situation.

"A year later?!" Autumn’s emotions became stirred; she didn’t want to wait even a month, let alone a year. She was concerned about unexpected changes over time and couldn’t allow it. She immediately vetoed Thomas’s proposal, "No! We have to meet Evelyn this weekend!"

She didn’t want to drag this matter out; the longer it went on, the likelier it was something would go wrong.

Before Thomas could respond, Autumn turned her head to Cedric Fisher, who had been silent the entire time, "Old Cedric! Do not plan anything for this weekend. You and I will meet our future daughter-in-law at home."
