After making a few phone calls Eden left for his room again. The twins were sitting on the bed talking. Eden sat in front of them and asked:
"Why aren’t you asleep?"
Zhenxuan said:
"We couldn’t sleep without you."
Eden smirked.
"Or maybe you just wanted to have sex as per our deal."
Zishu’s face fell and he looked at Eden upset. He’s been keeping everything in but hearing comments like that makes him ache. When Zhenxuan was sick he felt like the only way they would feel complete again is when he becomes healthy. Now that he is they still feel the same. They realized that Eden has been their missing piece all along. But Eden doesn’t want anything to do with them after they are done with their deal. No, he can’t lose Eden and he won’t allow it, he can’t remember the last time he was this happy.
Zishu looked down and started to breathe heavily. Zhenxuan frowned and he put a hand on his brother’s shoulder.
"Calm down."
Now that he is better he didn’t think this would happen again. Zishu would have panic attacks almost every time they thought they had found the Alchemist who could save his life. Zishu pushed his brother’s hand away and stood up to leave. He just needs to go out for a few minutes and breathe.
Eden jumped down from the bed and held his wrist. Zishu turned around and said between breaths:
"I just need some air."
He pulled his hand and walked to the door but Eden was faster. He stood before the door and crossed his arms determinedly. Zishu took a breath and said his eyes flashing with anger:
"Eden get out of the way, I told you I just need a few minutes."
Eden sneered.
"No."

"Eden he is having a panic attack, just give him a few he’ll come back."
Eden looked at them expressionlessly and ordered:
"He’s not leaving."
Zishu’s hands tightened into fists and he yelled:
"Why are you being so unreasonable?"
Eden burst out laughing like he had heard the funniest joke in the world and asked:
"Are you fucking kidding me?"
The twins were stunned when his mood turned murderous. He asked furiously:
"Aren’t you the ones who are being unreasonable when you fucked half of the country , and now want to be in a serious relationship with me? Aren’t you the ones who are being unreasonable when the night we met and I was sitting between you two, you received a text from your partner for that very night?"
The twins both held their breath. It helped Zishu with his panic attack and he breathed normally again.
The twins didn’t think Eden was upset about any of that and most importantly they didn’t know he knew they wanted more. Zhenxuan went to take his cell phone and after unlocking it he showed Eden his texts. Eden took the cell phone and looked at it as Zhenxuan explained:
"You’re right the night we drove you to the hotel we received a text from someone we had to meet later that evening but we told her not to text again and blocked her number."
Eden checked and they indeed texted her to leave them alone and blocked her number. He looked at their contacts and saw that they were only professional numbers saved up. He gave the cell phone back still as angry as before and crossed his arms. Zishu took a step forward and turned his face toward him.
When Eden met his eyes he said:
"If we could undo everything we did, we would in a heartbeat. Because everyone thought we were weird, we were sure we would never meet our soulmate but we did. The day we met, we knew that we were supposed to spend the rest of our lives together. You’re the only one who never judged us or made us feel like the way we were was wrong."
Zhenxuan said:
"You’re the only one who fully accepted us and didn’t think we were freaks."
Eden felt his heart clench. He knows that the twins have been through a lot.
"You’re not freaks, you’re perfect."
The twins felt touched, even if Eden hadn’t said it, they knew he never judged them. But hearing it made them beyond happy. Eden could tell they were emotional, but he stayed in place and looked down.
Zishu looked at his brother then he nodded. He caressed Eden’s head and he looked up.
"Eden I love you. I love you so much that just the thought of not having you at my side for just a day, kills me. I know that you doubt us because of our past, but give us a chance to prove to you that we aren’t those people anymore."
Eden looked into Zishu’s eyes and sighed. Why is he so annoying... And cute? He wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him tenderly.

Zishu looked at Eden stunned, his eyes were shining brightly. Eden’s eyes softened and he murmured:
"I love you too Zishu."
Zishu’s eyes moistened and he kissed him again. Eden pulled back and smiled at him.
He let go of him and wrapped his arms around Zhenxuan’s neck. Zhenxuan felt his heartbeat quickening. He swallowed and said:
"Even if you believe us, I swear we’ll never take you for granted. You’ll never regret trusting us."
Eden smiled.
"I already don’t."
"I love you, Eden."
"I love you too Zhenxuan."
Zhenxuan’s eyes moistened too and he kissed him.
Eden let go of him and threatened them:
"If you dare touch something you shouldn’t, you’ll lose your hands."
The twins chuckled, turns out that all this time Eden was jealous too. They pulled him in their embrace and Zishu said:
"We’ll only touch you."
They both kissed his forehead and Eden smiled his cheeks slightly flushed.
Yan walked out of the thirtieth ingredient store and fell on his knees hopeless. He’s been up all night trying to find the ingredient those past three days to save Eden but he didn’t. He went everywhere and now Eden will die because of him. Tears ran down his face as he cried silently. The only person who could help him is his brothers but he doesn’t want to ask them for help. As soon as they save Eden he’ll be with them and he will never give him a chance.
The twins have connections to Alchemists all over the world he knows they must know someone who has that ingredient. But accepting their help means giving up on Eden and he doesn’t know if he can do that. He thought for a few seconds and stood up. He entered the car and left for the precinct. He knows that Huang is still there so he should be able to talk to him. He entered an interrogation room and sat waiting for him.
If he helps him get the rare Trilias flower he’ll make sure he doesn’t spend the rest of his life in jail. He looked at the door when a policeman entered with a shackled Huang. He sat him across the table and handcuffed him to the table. He looked at Yan and said:
"You have 15 minutes."
Yan nodded and the policeman left. Once the door was closed he looked at Huang.
He could tell that he spent difficult three days in jail. Yan leaned back and asked:
"How are you?"
Huang chuckled like he heard a joke.
"How am I? Not only am I going to spend the next 20 years in prison but my wife and daughter will too."
"I can help you with that."
Huang looked at him suspiciously. How stupid would he be if he believed Yan when he is the reason he is in this situation? He knows without a doubt that he only came to see him because he needs help and he wants to know with what.
"What do you mean?"
"I can make sure that your wife and daughter walk out of prison in five years instead of 15."
Yan thought that Huang would show happiness but he simply asked:
"Why would you do that?"
Yan said:
"You know a lot of Alchemists and I need you to tell me one who has the Trilias flower."
Huang burst out laughing until tears ran down his face. The only way to make the antidote for the poison he made for Eden is to have the Trilias flower so it’s clear that he is doing that for Eden. He believed that Yan had every piece of the puzzle before he decided to send him to prison but he was wrong. Of course, he won’t help him, if Eden dies as soon as his wife and daughter are out of jail they’ll have his inheritance since they are his only remaining family member.
He wiped his tears and said:
"I’ll never help you."
Yan felt his heartbeat quickening and asked:
"So you’re willing to let your wife and daughter suffer in jail for 10 more years just to kill Eden?"
"I am if it means that when they come out they’ll inherit everything since Eden doesn’t have other family members. At least they’ll live well instead of living in the street."
Yan looked at his determined face and left slamming the door behind him. Since Huang won’t help he’ll have to ask his brothers.
