When Eden opened his eyes he was in a private plane. He smiled and his eyes softened. When he was in Versal he felt Gege pushing him toward a specific world. Looks like it’s the one he was stranded in, hopefully, he’ll be able to get answers. Since he knew he was safe he leaned in and selected receive.
This Eden is a 19 years old man. In this universe, there used to be magic but over the years it disappeared. As it faded away potions, elixirs and talismans became part of everyday life and people depended on them heavily. Those potions were made by alchemists but they were a rarity since it was an extremely hard craft to cultivate. Eden’s grandfather Zhen Ning was a gifted alchemist and taught him everything he knew. He had been living with him since he was seven years old when his parents died in a car crash. Zhen Ning and his childhood friend Wang Chan both built a company related to potions.
Wang Chan had a company named Wang Elements that sold ingredients for potions, elixirs, and talismans while Zhen Ning made and sold them. He had a laboratory in his company Z Elixir with the best alchemists. Eden would often work there with him since he was in love with the craft as well. He and Zhen Ning were extremely close consequently when he died he became depressed. After his death, the family found out that Zhen Ning had left everything to Eden. Eden’s uncle Zhen Huang was extremely angry that his father left him nothing.
Eden inherited all his fortune, the estate they lived in, the millions he had saved up, and his 80% of shares of Z Elixir. Since he was to inherit Z Elixir when he turned 18 Zhen Huang ran the company. After Eden told him that he didn’t want to stay in the estate because it reminded him too much of Zhen Ning he signed him to a school in B Country. Eden stayed there for three years and came back a few weeks before his eighteenth birthday surprising his family. Zhen Huang thought that he came back for the company and to take back the house since he had moved there with his wife Zhen Zihan and his daughter Zhen Yinglun so he decided to use then kill him, Eden.
They used Zhen Yinglun’s fiance Wang Yan so people wouldn’t suspect them. Zhen Yinglun and Wang Yan had been engaged since they were kids and it was decided by Zhen Ning and Wang Chan their grandfathers. Wang Yan knew that he would never inherit Wang Elements since it was run by his older brothers so the next best thing was to have a high position at Z Elixir. Wang Yan became friends with him and they would spend a lot of time together. Eden who was shy and not used to people noticing him was touched by his thoughtfulness.
They would meet often and every time Wang Yan would bring him a potion for health but it was actually poison. Wang Yan soon noticed that Eden was in love with him and after telling Zhen Huang they decided to use a quick-acting poison since they knew that Eden would accept anything he would ask of him. He invited Eden to dinner, after getting him drunk they slept together when he finished drinking the poison. The next day Wang Yan was gone and he no longer spoke to Eden. Eden was heartbroken since he truly loved him but he respected his choice.
Zhen Huang told Eden that he was poisoned and that he would give him the antidote if he signed over the inheritance and finish the experience Zhen Ning was working on before he died. Eden refused and said that he would rather die since he had nothing to live for anyway. Zhen Huang had him locked in his room and he was under surveillance 24/7. One day Wang Yan sneaked through the window and apologized. He told Eden that he was scared because of how much he loved him and that he wanted to run away with him so they can finally be together openly.
Eden was extremely happy and forgave him. Wang Yan told him to do what Zhen Huang told him to so he can be healthy once they leave. Eden agreed and worked in Zhen Ning’s sealed laboratory for days. Zhen Ning had sealed his private laboratory before his death in a way that only Eden would be able to open it because he was working on something exceptionally valuable. This is why Zhen Huang needed Eden, he knew that he was the only one who could open the door and finish the experience.
Eden was exhausted from having to work so much but sleeping next to his lover every night made him more motivated. When he finished the experiment Zhen Huang was over the moon. His father had been working on the transmutation of substances in this case transforming talismans into gold. When Eden made more than 200kg of gold he locked him in the laboratory with the same chemical Zhen Ning died off and it was ruled an accident.
Quickly after Wang Yan married Zhen Yinglun he was promoted to a management position at Z Elixir. A year later he became president of Wang Elements and both companies merged under him while Zhen Huang retired with his wife to a foreign country with the gold. Both companies thrived and Wang Yan and Zhen Yinglun lived happily ever after.
When Eden opened his eyes again he chuckled as usual. This mission should be easy, he hasn’t signed over anything and he hasn’t been poisoned yet. He is going to take down every single Zhen. Whether it’s Huang, Yinglun, or Zihan they all had a hand in his death. They all knew the plan and couldn’t care less while they lived in his house, used his staff, drove his cars, and used his money. They are going to pay dearly. The person he hates most is that son of a bitch, Wang Yan.
Not only did Yan use his love against him but he slept with him. When he pretended to be on his side he would still have sex with him when he knew full well that he was bound to die. Yan was attracted to Eden but it didn’t go further than that and of course, his uncle, aunt, and cousin didn’t know they were having sex. So Yan had more fun than anyone in this whole thing. He’s going to wish he never talked to me in the first place.
In this universe Eden was sweet and a little shy that’s why so many people took advantage of him but they’ll see how vicious he became since the time they were apart. He still needs more power to act as he wishes but in this universe he has a loophole. He was away for years so he could have changed into someone completely different.
Eden stood up and left for the bathroom. He looked at his reflection and he wasn’t surprised when the familiar green peach blossom eyes looked back. He had thin eyebrows and an aquiline nose with high cheekbones. His skin was fair and his full lips were red as blood. He went back to take a seat and opened his computer.
After linking it to Versem he checked the state of his company Z Elixir. He checked the family charges every month and the amount left. After blocking his bank accounts so his family wouldn’t have access to it anymore, Eden made some research. He ranted the same laboratory he did when he was stranded before. He closed his computer and slept. Eden woke up he few minutes before they started the descent and freshened up.
When they landed a car was waiting for him on the tarmac. When the chauffeur came out of the car Eden ran and hugged him. The man hugged him back with a happy smile. Eden pulled back with a broad smile.
"Hello, uncle how are you?"
"I’m well thank you. I’m happy you’re finally back it wasn’t the same without you."
Eden smiled feeling touched. He’s known him since he moved into his grandfather’s estate.
When Zhen Huang had him locked in his room he did everything in his power to free him but couldn’t. He ended up getting hurt and lost the use of one of his legs. He’s going to make sure it doesn’t happen again since he is one of the few people who cared about him.
"Thank you, uncle."
Eden got in the car and they departed when all the luggage was in the trunk. He opened the partition giving him an address.
Once he did he said:
"Uncle can you come pick me up at 6 pm and don’t tell anyone I’m back. You can leave the luggage in the trunk."
"No problem son."
Eden smiled at him. When they arrived he waved goodbye and entered the building. He walked to the reception. A woman smiled at him.
"Hello, what can I do for you?"
"I’m here to see Dr.Wu."
The woman made a phone call and a few seconds later a man came in walking fast. He shook Eden’s hand with a smile

Dr.Wu smiled and led him to the elevator. Once they reached the top floor there was only a hallway and a door at the end of it. Dr.Wu pulled out a key, opened the door and Eden entered. He looked around the spacious laboratory and formulated a list in his mind. freēwēbnovel.com

"I will need more test tubes, graduated cylinders, separating tunnels, buret, thermometers, and soxhlet extractors. Three of each."
After Dr.Wu wrote down everything he said.
"I’ll bring it to you right away."
"I have a delivery that should be here in an hour."
"I’ll make sure it gets to you once it’s here."
Eden smiled.
"Thank you."
"My pleasure."
Eden felt this sense of deja-vu, actually, it’s more like a vu since all of this happened when he was stranded. He took a seat and opened his computer. Once he gets his hands on his family they are dead.
