Atlas leaned his head on Damian’s shoulder as they rode to Nye Games. He needs to do some modifications on the game Extinct. Since the game is already licensed by Nye Games he can’t take it.
It’s fine they can have it when he’s done adding a few things. Once Damian breaks their contract they’ll lose a big distributor. Nye Games have an online site where they sell the games but Cian Cube is 70% of their sales.
All the games on Cian Cube from Nye Games were created by him it’s the sole reason they make so much money. Well, he’ll become their competition and he’ll watch with a smile as Nye Games becomes ashes.
Ludek has been pressuring him into finishing the game Extinct so Elwyn can present it to the board of directors. He told him to write the presentation and then help Elwyn rehearse it so it will go perfectly.
Atlas always nailed his presentation. The board of directors knew that he was a genius in that field and that all his creations were flawless so Ludek is nervous that Elwyn won’t give the same impression.
Like a fool, he accepted everything single thing they told him to do. The second Elwyn set foot in the house things changed, the truth is that they only keep him around for what he brings to the company.
When they arrived Atlas looked at the building with a malicious smile. Since he isn’t a Nye he doesn’t care about destroying their heritage. Damian turned Atlas’ head and kissed him.
Atlas circled his neck. For a long time, they stayed there kissing. Atlas pulled back and looked into those eyes he loves so much. Damian felt his heart skip a beat when he saw the look in Atlas’ eyes.
He said:
"Elwyn is hosting a dinner tomorrow to celebrate the engagement and he wants your entire family to come."
When Atlas rolled his eyes Damian chuckled.
The only reason he is having that dinner is that Elwyn told him to do it to throw their engagement in his face. Atlas said:
"I’ll only come for you and you better keep my seat next to yours."
Damian smiled at Atlas’ cute pouty face. He gave him a peck and said:
"I will baby."
Atlas smiled, after giving him one last kiss he got out of the car.
He entered the building and walked to the elevator. Once he was in he pushed the button to the top floor. When the doors opened he walked to his office. He tapped the password and entered.
He looked at his new office and sneered. They even took Atlas’ office and gave it to Elwyn when he doesn’t even work since he doesn’t know shit about this field. He took a seat behind his desk.
They were four screens and after turning on the computer he called his assistant. When he finally came Atlas asked impatiently:
"Where were you I called you 15 minutes ago?"
The assistant seemed uncomfortable then he murmured:
"Presiden Nye told me that from now on I’m Elwyn’s assistant, not yours."

"Get me some tea."
The assistant didn’t dare to say anything so he followed his order. Atlas checked Extinct and he smiled. Now that he has all the knowledge he has he can create games a hundred times better than those he did before.
The games he created were state of the art because that’s all he knew but now he’ll be able to create incredible designs with better quality. The game will be more fluid and lifelike.
He’ll let Nye Game stay in the twenty century and he’ll take Cian Cube to the future. He’s grateful that they are just in the modern era so he can create a lot of things that wouldn’t have existed until 30 or 40 years in the future.
When the assistant came back he took the tea and ordered:
"Tell production to give me the Extinct files."
The assistant nodded and left. When his door opened he said:
"Just put it on my desk."
Elwyn smiled and said:
"It’s me."
Atlas didn’t look up from his computer and said:
"Hey."
Elwyn asked:
"Did you send my assistant to production?"
"En."
He said:
"Father said that he’ll be my assistant from now on. If you use him then who will be able to help me?"
Atlas looked up and asked:
"Help you with what?"
Elwyn opened his mouth but nothing came out. Indeed, he doesn’t know much about the video game industry but he is learning so Atlas doesn’t have to act like he does nothing.
His heartbeat quickened in anger but he put on a smile and asked:
"Have you finished the presentation for the board of directors?"
Atlas resumed working and said:
"No, and I’m not going to do it I have too much to do."
Elwyn’s heartbeat quickened again but this time in worry. His father has told him that the presentation has to go perfectly.
When Ludek proposed Elwyn as the heir they were worried since he has no experience and they’ve seen how invaluable Atlas is. He said:
"Father said that you should do it."
He took a step to the side when his assistant entered and handed a key to Atlas. Once he was gone he looked at Atlas waiting for him to say that he’ll do it but he was too busy coding.
Elwyn said:
"Father said that you would write the presentation then rehearse it with me so it goes well in front of the board."
Atlas looked up and said:
"Elwyn I’m not your babysitter or your father. I’m not going to do everything for you okay? Unlike you, I work. Now leave I’m busy."
When Atlas finished he looked down and resumed. Elwyn’s eyes flashed with anger and he left for his office. He slammed the door behind him and sat behind his desk.
He knows that he is just jealous because Jacob proposed to him last night. He saw him crying. It was the best moment of his life and he won’t let Atlas try to take his place as president of the company.
Even if Jacob loves him he knows that the company is important to him. He already feels guilty that he can’t give him a child as Atlas could.
Jacob told him that he wants a son to take over Cian Cube once his father gives him the company but that he’s willing to give up on that for him. He’s a beta but he’ll love him enough for the child they could’ve had if he wasn’t.
He’ll talk to his parents he knows that they are willing to do anything for him because of the guilt they feel for not being there for him his entire childhood. Even if he knows they only keep Atlas because of his talent it’s infuriating.
He thought that he was done with him since he saw him crying then he disappeared but he’s still here. He’ll make him wish he never came back to the company.
