Atlas was sitting on Shuyuan’s lap holding his cellphone doing a live, they were answering a few questions about the show. Xinyu grabbed Dawei’s arm and asked:
"What are they doing?"
Dawei who was looking at them furiously said:
"The director told them to do a live to promote the two-hour finale episode of next week."
He’s so happy they are done shooting today, he can’t stand to see them together. He looked at Xinyu and tilted his head.
She doesn’t know that they are together since yesterday she wasn’t on set. He can’t wait to see her face when she sees that her ex is now with the movie emperor. He has already seen all the news about her, she’s certainly having a bad day.
Atlas looked at the question and answered:
"Again Xinyu and I will never be together ever again."
He gave a peck to Shuyuan and said:
"He’s the one that I love."
Shuyuan pulled him and kissed him a little longer. Atlas pushed him with a smile and reminded:
"We’re live my love."
Shuyuan smiled. Atlas and Shuyuan ignored the gasp that came out of Xinyu.
Xinyu’s tears started to run down her face as she looked at the two of them smiling and laughing. How could Atlas move on like that so fast? She looked at Shuyuan in rage, he stole him from her. Now she understands why he showed up at the studio, he was interested in Atlas.
Her sadness turned into rage. She’s sure Shuyuan just wants to use Atlas now that he’s popular. She saw how cold he was when they were shooting. When Atlas was done with their live she walked to him.
"Atlas?"
Atlas looked at her and smiled.
"Hey."
Everyone looked toward them wanting to see the showdown since it was clear that Xinyu was furious. Xinyu tried to ask as calmly as possible:
"Are you and Shuyuan together?"
Before Atlas could answer Shuyuan did:
"We are."
She looked at him with disdain and said:
"I wasn’t asking you!"
She looked at Atlas waiting for his answer nervously.
"We are."
She forced herself not to cry but it was impossible, this time she is truly in love with Atlas. She asked:
"I thought you loved me and that we were getting back together?"
Atlas laughed like he had heard the funniest joke in the world.
"Are you out of your mind?"
Xinyu said in a shaky voice:
"What?"
Atlas said:
"You were only dating me because my band was popular and it allowed you to be seen on every website and magazine since I was trending almost every day. As soon as people turned on me you broke up with me in a text, you didn’t even have the decency to tell me face to face. But as soon as I was at the top again you came back crawling. Do you think I would be stupid enough to take you back when you’re just a user? I don’t want to be with someone who doesn’t and never loved me. But I’m happy all of this happened or would’ve never found my soulmate."
Xinyu said:
"It’s true that before I didn’t love you but I do now I swear."
She reached out to hold his hand but Shuyuan pushed her hand away with dark eyes.

Atlas smiled. Xinyu felt heartbroken when she saw Atlas’ tender smile directed at Shuyuan. How can he not care that as she’s crying? Before all she had to do is not smile and he would do anything to make her smile again.
But now his love is directed at that thief Shuyuan. No, she can’t accept that she can’t lose him.
She said desperately:
"Please Atlas you have to, believe me, I swear I love you and I won’t take you for granted ever again. Just give me a chance to prove it to you."
Atlas raised an eyebrow and asked:
"So you didn’t come here to get back together with me to salvage what you could of your reputation after advice from your manager?"
Xinyu looked at him wide-eyed. How does he know? When the set saw her face they all knew it was the truth and they looked at her with disgust.
Her manager who was at the side decided to leave, it’s the last day of shooting anyway she can deal with it on her own. Xinyu turn around for his help and saw him leave in a hurry.
She looked at Atlas and said:
"Atlas listen..."
Shuyuan cut her:
"Get out of our sight before I lose it."
When she felt his threatening aura Xinyu immediately ran to her dressing room.
Atlas held Shuyuan’s face and after kissing his nose he said:
"Calm down my love she isn’t worth it."
Shuyuan hugged his baby.
Dawei looked at them with trembling hands. He’s never been this angry before. He thought he would be able to deal with Atlas before the end of the shooting but he’s still where he started.
He’ll tell his mother to withdraw the money from the investment today so he can deal with him. When the day ended Dawei thanked every god. Seeing Atlas and Shuyuan’s display of affection all day made him disgusted.
When he arrived in front of his house and saw the police he got out of the car in a hurry and ran inside. The last time the police were there was when someone stole his mother’s jewelry and since he hasn’t been caught he’s worried he might’ve come back to get more.
He entered the living room and looked at his mother wide-eyed. She was in handcuffs on her knees crying.
"Mother, what happened?"
The detective asked:
"Who are you?"
Dawei said:
"I’m Lan Dawei her son. Why is she being arrested?"
"Your mother is being arrested for being part of a company that’s been laundering money."

"You’re lying she would never do anything illegal and put us at risk."
The detective said:
"We’ve been investing her for a week and we know that she lost all her money in a bad investment. After getting some money she invested it all in Li Tech. They’re not in tech it’s just a front and you’re mother knew well but it didn’t stop her from helping them. We have enough proof including the 15 million she earned after investing in them and her constant communication via text with the president of the company."
Dawei looked at his mother. No this can’t be real she wouldn’t do something so stupid. Yishang looked at him and swore:
"I didn’t know their business was a front. A friend of mine told me it was a sure thing that’s why I invested in them."
"Your message exchange with the president shows that you knew."
She sobbed:
"You keep saying that but I never communicated with him you have to believe me!"
The detective said impatiently:
"All the evidence speaks for itself, take her away I’m sick of hearing her lies. We’ll see if you’ll keep lying when you’re put in jail for the next 20 years."
Yishang burst out crying and said to Dawei:
"I swear I didn’t do what they say, mother would never do that to you."
When she was taken away Dawei asked the detective:
"Does that mean that I won’t be able to get the money back?"
The detective laughed.
"All your asset has been frozen and I suggest you find a better way to earn money than your mother’s because you won’t get a dime back."
Dawei looked at the detective go and when the house was silent again he sat on the couch exhausted.
What is he supposed to do now? With what he earns he’ll never be able to keep the house and the staff. His mother is going to spend the next 20 years in prison and now he’s on his own.
As the idea of not seeing his mother sunk in his eyes moistened. No, he can’t break down he needs to be strong so when his mother is out of prison he’ll still have the house and everything.
First, he needs to get rid of the staff since the money he has will never be enough to keep them.
He thought a few seconds and started to calm down slightly. He can just ask Atlas for more money and give the money to the brokerage firm his mother used before since she always made money with them.
The only reason she is in trouble now is that she decided to do this on her own after she was angry at the bank. Yes, he’ll just ask Atlas and let the professional earn him money. He’s glad he didn’t insult him today.
At least he knows that he’ll always have a roof over his head since the house has been paid for and he has the deed. He’ll talk to Atlas and fix everything, once he deals with the issue he’ll get rid of him for good.
