Eden looked at Bastian and asked:
"Why isn’t this chair reserved for the president of the company? If I’m not mistaken I own 70% of the shares."
A few shareholders frowned and Bastian took a seat on Eden’s right. He looked at his wife and daughter who were sitting in from of him with a smile and they smiled back.
Eden linked his computer to the projector and said:
"When I was told to let Bastian and Alessa run the company a little longer I agreed because I thought they were smart but now that I know it’s not the case I’ll take it from here."
Bastian and Alessa looked at Eden furiously. She asked:
"Really? Isn’t the company’s turnover higher than it’s ever been?"

"It is because my father left you plans for the next couple of years and you use most of them."
The shareholders were surprised to hear that, they didn’t know Res left instructions and plans for them to follow. Klay asked:
"Res left help?"
"He has but even with his help they managed to make the company lose more than 200 million."
Bastian said:
"You have no idea what you’re talking about you’re just making up numbers. How could we lose that much when our turnover has never been higher?"
Eden showed the contract between Knox Fort and Ryatt Industry and explained:
"My father had drafted this temporary contract and instead of using the one, he left after he passed you two idiots drafted a new one giving a 20 percent decrease on what Ryatt Industry should’ve paid making the company lose around 200 million just to make the information public."
Alessa yelled:
"Thanks to it we gained more clients."
Eden showed a page and said:
"This is what the new companies brought, as you can see it’s not even a fifth of what we would’ve earned with Ryatt Industry."
The shareholders looked at Bastian and Alessa to make sure everything Eden was saying was a lie but they immediately knew it wasn’t when they avoided their eyes.
Eden said:
"All you had to do was to follow my father’s plan and even that you couldn’t do you’re useless no wonder he didn’t want you to inherit the company."
Alessa yelled again:
"You have no idea how to run a company and you dare speak? We both have experience while you’re nothing more than a fuckin hybrid freak."
Eden smiled.
"As long as my father believed I could do it I’m fine and I will."
His family chuckled. The more they hear Eden saying things like that the funnier it is. Eden looked at her assistant and she put papers in front of Luna.
Eden explained after putting it on the screen:
"This is the new contract I drafted. Your 20 percent decrease will be gone and you’ll use Knox Fort exclusively in all your new products from now on. If you want Knox Fort as a security system only on your cellphones you’ll pay an additional 25 percent for an exclusive contract."
The entire room felt like laughing as if Luna is ever going to accept that. Is Eden out of his mind?
Alessa, Bastian, and Arya felt pleased, it looked bad when Eden showed what they lost because of their discount but with Eden disrespecting Luna they’ll want them to run the company.
After scouring the contract Luna looked up.
"What do we gain from signing that?"
"Ryatt’s cellphone will be the most secure in the world while the other won’t be able to get it. You and I both know that no matter how great a cellphone is it will be worthless if it isn’t secure. You know my father was the best and everything he said he could do for Ryatt Industry he did. His work speaks for itself that’s why even if you refuse and I broke our current contract Knox Fort will still be worth millions."
The shareholders felt panicky, they didn’t think that Eden would want to break the contract if Luna refused to sign the one he drafted. Bastian said:
"How about we first name the president of the company before talking about the contract with Ryatt Industry."
Eden looked at him.
"I already told you I have 70 percent of the shares no one can vote me out."
Alessa smirked:
"Actually you only have 40 percent over the year we sold 30 percent of your shares."
Eden looked at them furiously and they were beyond happy. Eden looked around and said:
"FIne those In favor of me being the president and rectifying all the mistakes those two idiots made keep your hand down and those who want them in charge lift your hand."
All the shareholders looked at Luna. She looked at Eden and he nodded at her.
Luna lifted her hand and quickly more than half of the shareholders followed her lead. Eden wrote down the name of the people who did. Bastian looked at him typing then asked with a mocking smile:
"What? Are you going to kill them because they voted you out?"
"Not kill I’ll just buy their share, I don’t want people who don’t believe in my father’s vision working here."
Bastian chuckled and stood up. He ordered:
"Get up from my seat."
Eden ignored him and looked at Luna.
"Now that you know what the contract entails are you in or out?"
Luna asked:
"Are you angry at me for signing that contract with your aunt and uncle?"
Eden shook his head.
"I’m not anyone in your place would’ve done the same. You were smart enough to take advantage of those two idiots and I respect you for that god knows I would’ve too."
Luna smiled, she grabbed a pen and signed the contract. She handed it to Eden’s assistant she gave it to Eden. Eden was about to sign when Bastian tried to get his hand on it but Eden was faster. He asked:
"What do you think you’re doing?"
Bastian said:
"The shareholders just voted me president and he’s the only one who can sign a contract with any company."
Honestly he can’t believe Eden was able to convince Luna to sign the contract but he is over the moon. The company will make millions thanks to it and his name will be at the bottom of the contract. Alessa said:

Alessa pushed Arya and said:
"Go sign it sweety."
Arya stood up with a proud smile and walked to Eden but she froze when she looked at the projected screen. Bastian and Alessa who was looking at her with a smile frowned then followed her eyes. They looked at it stunned, what the fuck? They looked at Eden and saw that he had just signed the paper, he looked at them with a mocking smile. He gave the paper to his assistant and ordered:
"Make copies."
Eden looked at them and sneered:
"Did you really think I was going to let you degenerate destroy my father’s life work after everything you put him through?"
Bastian looked at a screen showing Eden owning Espen’s previous 20 percent shares in rage. He can’t believe that son of a bitch sold them to Eden, then again he and Res were friends.
He looked at Eden and howled:
"What we put him through? That bastard left you everything instead of us his brother and sister. How could he even love a freak like you is beyond me..."
Klay who was able to retain himself earlier when Alessa made a comment lost it and he jumped Bastian.
Bastian tried to fight back but it was useless since he was fighting a dragon and he hissed in panic. Alessa and Arya were screaming in fear while they struggled to breathe because of Klay’s dark spiritual power. Eden pulled Klay before he could kill Bastian.
Eden looked at the security guard and gave them a sign. They grabbed Bastian’s bloodied and passed-out body. Arya and Alessa followed in tears. All the shareholders who were frozen in shock left in a hurry when Klay screamed:
"Get out!"
Eden turned Klay’s head and caressed his cheek.
"Calm down."
"I can’t, I can’t calm down when someone treats you that way. I don’t want you to be upset."
Eden’s eyes softened and he said:
"I don’t care about how people feel about me or if they call me a hybrid freak. I only care about how you feel."
Klay held onto his waist and swore:
"I never thought of you that way."
"I know my love."
Eden leaned his forehead against Klay’s and closed his eyes. Klay closed his eyes and murmured:
"I love you, baby."
"I love you more. Gege".
Klay smiled brightly. Eden pulled back and said:
"I’ll be right back."
Klay nodded and watched him leave.
He looked at his mother, she looked at him furiously. Klay closed the door to make sure they wouldn’t be heard and Luna howled:
"How dare you plan to propose to Eden without telling me?"
Klay said:
"Because no matter what I plan on spending the rest of my life with Eden he’s my mate."
Luna asked hurt:
"Don’t you want me to be part of your life anymore?"
Klay was a little stunned, he’s never seen his mother like that. She’s quite fierce and you can tell even when she smiles at you gently. He took a step forward and said:
"Of course I do but I’ll never give up on Eden. I know you by heart mother and I could tell that you doubted him the day of your birthday."
Luna said:
"Of course I did I knew nothing of him. How am I supposed to approve of your mate If I don’t know him?"
Klay felt guilty hearing that, indeed, he didn’t make enough effort to bring them closer.
"Eden felt reluctant about our relationship because he was sure you wouldn’t approve of him because he is a hybrid and he said that he would never get in the middle of our relationship because he knows what it’s like not to have parents."
Hearing that Luna felt heartbroken. She knows how hard his life was since she had to find out everything about it by investigating since Klay didn’t introduce them. She doesn’t care that he is a hybrid all she cares about is that he makes her son happy and he does.
She sighed and said:
"I like Eden and I can tell he loves you as much as you love him."
"Then why were you upset when you thought I proposed?"
Luna looked at him excitedly and asked:
"You haven’t proposed yet?"
Klay felt confused but he shook his head. Luna smiled brightly and pulled out a box from her purse.
"I want you to propose with this ring, it’s a family heirloom."
Klay opened the box and looked at the ring stunned. He touched it and then asked:
"Mother are you sure?"
Luna smiled.
"Of course I am."
Klay knows how important this ring is it’s from the old country and it’s the kind of ring that is behind glass in museums. He hugged his mother with a huge smile.
"Thank you."
"Of course darling."
Eden and Klay spent the rest of their life together. He bought the shares of all the people against him and only kept the personnel who had his back. After Eden became president their turnover became higher than it ever had and he was invited to every talk show to talk about his management style. They finally understood that hybrids aren’t idiots and that they’re more powerful than any other spa.
Over the years the dragons started to mix and Eden wasn’t the only hybrid anymore until it became a normal occurrence. Eden agreed to move in with his stepmother when she asked and they grew closer. Luna treated him like her son and was extremely supportive. Eden and Klay decided to merge both companies to spend more time together after Klay proposed.
Bastian, Arya, and Alessa disappeared a week after the shareholders’ meeting and their body was never found. Eden made sure that they would suffer as much as he did before their death.
When Eden arrived in Versal he immediately put a hand on his chest and frowned. He bit his lip feeling that similar pain again and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes he was in front of a tower high enough to touch the clouds. He looked around and saw people wearing different color robes. Either green, gold, or blue. They all had long hair and their garment was like ancient era but Eden knew he was in the future.
There were flying cars, people walking with holographic cellphones, and using jetpacks. He checked Versem and saw that he was in Magellanic Clouds. Two men holding a blaster walked toward him and each held one of his arms leading him inside the building. One of them said:
"Chancellor Colton wants to see you."
Eden’s eyes flashed, looks like it is finally time for revenge.
