Chapter 15: Elysium Orders an Execution

ELYSIUM

High above the clouds, a blinding, celestial light suddenly appeared in the grand courtyard of the high deities’ council.

The divine light shot straight into the heavens, piercing the golden sky and setting off an emergency alarm that echoed through the massive marble pillars of the heavenly palace.

Inside the central chamber, the high gods and goddesses were already gathered at the high god throne room, on their feet and murmuring in a collective panic as they stared out the crystalline windows at the fading crimson flare.

They had been right in the middle of a meeting when they felt the sudden shift in power. It raised frantic questions because the light was deeply suspicious, and nothing of the sort had happened in centuries.

"Where is Solmira?" Celestian, the supreme deity, demanded from his golden throne. His long silver hair fell perfectly over his shoulders, contrasting with a flowing white gown that shimmered with an active, ethereal glow. His deep green eyes swept across the room, searching the panicking crowd for the deity of prophecy. Every thread of his robes pulsed with a faint, divine light, emphasizing the absolute authority of his position. free𝑤ebnovel.com

The deities all looked between themselves, unable to answer. But just as Celestian finished speaking, the heavy golden doors of the council hall slammed open, and Goddess Solmira burst into the room.

She walked with a dangerous, commanding style, her long, spun-gold hair rippling behind her like a halo of fire. Her striking blue eyes flashed with a mixture of sharp fury and deep, lingering fear. She already knew exactly what that light meant—after all, she was the goddess of prophecy.

Wearing a breathtaking, shimmering white robe woven from pure stardust, she looked effortlessly as if she were only in her thirties, though her cold presence carried the weight of thousands of years. Every single head in the room turned toward her as she marched right up to the center of the throne room, her elegant heels clicking sharply against the polished marble floor.

"You all saw it," Solmira demanded, her voice cutting through the frantic murmurs of the gathered gods. "The prophecy has appeared again. The child of sin has come, and the world will be thrown into absolute chaos."

She announced it clearly, and before anyone could even voice their questions, she slowly raised her palm. A bright, blinding blue light erupted from her hand, filling the vast throne room in an instant. Her eyes went completely, starkly white as she connected to the fabric of fate, and she began to chant in a booming, ancient tongue:

"Aethelis sphaera, fati decreta, revelate quod futurum est. Lumine veritatis, saecula deleta, Elysium ardebit, et throni deorum in cinerem cadent!"(Celestial sphere, decrees of fate, reveal what is to come. By the light of truth, eras shall be wiped out, Elysium shall burn, and the thrones of gods shall fall to ash!)

Then she opened her eyes. Still suspended in the glowing blue light, an ethereal line of moving images manifested in the air around them. It wasn’t just a static vision; it was a terrifyingly clear projection of the future.

The deities watched in horror as the images showed prosperous towns being utterly destroyed, great kingdoms crumbling into dust, ancient deities screaming as they died, and Elysium itself engulfed in a roaring, unstoppable sea of fire.

And then, just as quickly as it had appeared, everything vanished.

Solmira turned back toward Celestian, her chest heaving as the light faded. "The prophecy written by my son has awakened. And as that crimson light pierced the sky, the child of sin was officially conceived... and..." She paused, raising her hand to project a final, singular image floating in the air. It showed Seraphel. "It is being carried by a human. A mortal with the secondary gender of an omega."

Loud gasps broke through the throne room. The deities shook their heads, exchanging frantic, disbelieving looks.

"How can this be? A mere mortal shouldn’t be able to survive carrying the child of a Sin! There is no way that is possible," Elios, the god of fate, muttered. He pulled a strand of his long hair, inspecting it as if checking the threads of the universe, before looking up. "I tried to read through his fate just now, and it’s completely blank. There is absolutely nothing written about this human."

"It can’t be!" another god exclaimed from the crowd. "There is no way a mortal can have a blank fate. It’s impossible to hide from the god of fate. Unless... is he not actually human?"

Elios shrugged, his expression grim. "I don’t detect any darkness or hidden divinity from his fate at all," he responded, turning his gaze back to Solmira. "We all saw those horrific images. What does it all truly mean?"

"Doom," Solmira stated flatly. "It means that if the child of sin is born, the world as we know it will end. The era of deities will be wiped out completely, and the resurrection of Draca will occur."

At the mere mention of the name Draca, a violent shift in energy rippled through the throne room. Several deities actually took a step backward, visibly shaking in fear.

"Dr... Draca?" one of them gasped. It was Seraphyne, the goddess of life, her shining golden hair trembling as she clutched her gown. "That demon has been securely locked away for centuries! How the hell is he supposed to be revived? There is no way!"

Solmira looked toward her, casting a heavy, solemn look of confirmation to let her know that she wasn’t exaggerating. "The child born of sin is an abomination itself. It is far better to kill the child now, before it can ever be born."

Celestian shifted heavily on his golden throne. When he spoke, his bold, commanding tone boomed through the hall, instantly forcing every single deity to turn toward him in absolute silence. "Since the prophecy is officially active, we cannot afford to waste time. We cannot let Draca be reborn. The child of sin must be killed immediately. God of War Valedi, send down the absolute best of your assassins and warriors. Go to the realm of Lust and get rid of the child."

Valedi, a heavily built, bald man with intricate arrow-like tattoos winding across his head, stepped forward out of the ranks and lowered his head deeply. "I will execute the order right away."

"One more thing, everyone," Solmira spoke up, her voice dropping to a gentle but chilling tone as she scanned the faces of the deities, until her eyes locked directly with the supreme deity. "The child of sin is destined to be born with powers that might even surpass that of the supreme deity himself."
