Chapter 134: Chapter 134

Kyra’s POV

Kieran was leaning against a black SUV, smirking in an evil way as I walked up to him, my face expressionless.

"You know that you’re wanted and I can easily turn you in to the Alpha Council, right?" I kept my voice cold, but Sylvia was growling inside me, sensing danger.

He laughed and lifted his arm, showing me his phone screen. freewebnoveℓ.com

"If you can sacrifice little Anderson to put me in the dungeon, then fine, report me."

My mouth dropped open as I gasped. I stared at his phone screen and saw Phoebe sitting in her class.

"I have eyes everywhere, Kyra. I figured you’re not scared of me because you know I can never hurt you. You protect your daughter so well that I can’t even talk to her anymore. But you forgot about all the people you care about. I’ll hurt them one by one if you keep fighting me."

I slowly shook my head. "You’re crazy!"

He smirked. "Crazy in love with you, babe."

"Get away from me," I said angrily, stepping back.

"Get in the car," he ordered. His voice took that dangerous tone I knew all too well.

"No," I said firmly, crossing my arms. Sylvia was ready to fight if needed.

His eyes darkened. "Your precious daughter and that little Anderson girl... don’t you care about what happens to them?"

My blood ran cold. "You wouldn’t dare."

"Try me," he said, challenging me. His cedar and musk scent grew stronger with his anger. "Get. In. The. Car."

With no choice left, I reluctantly opened the passenger door. The moment I slid into the seat, Kieran was beside me, the door slamming shut. Before I could react, his hand was at the back of my neck, pulling me into a forceful kiss.

I bit down hard on his lip, tasting blood, but it only seemed to excite him more. He pressed harder against me, his kiss becoming more violent, more possessive. I tried pushing him away, but he was too strong, his wolf Ronan lending him power I couldn’t match.

The taste of his blood filled my mouth, making me want to gag. When he finally pulled away, he was breathing heavily, a satisfied gleam in his eyes.

I wiped my mouth aggressively with the back of my hand, trying to erase any trace of him. "You disgust me," I spat.

Kieran casually licked the blood from his wounded lip, his eyes never leaving mine. "Still tastes the same. Little wolf, you know when the prey struggles hard in the trap, the hunter gets more excited, right? We’re both fierce beasts, aren’t we? So deep inside, don’t you love the craziest things, just like me?"

I glared at him. "Stop being delusional. You’ve got some nerve showing up in public when you’re a wanted Rogue head."

He shrugged with casual arrogance. "Those Alphas can’t touch me."

I remained silent, knowing it wasn’t entirely a lie. Kieran was powerful as a werewolf, his fighting skills legendary. There was a reason he led the most feared Rogue faction; his raw strength and ruthlessness made others fall in line.

Seeing that I didn’t want to pay attention to him and stayed cold, his face softened in a way I didn’t expect. He looked hurt through his usual mask. "You’re so heartless, Kyra. You know when your precious Phoebe brought those Alpha Council warriors to catch me? I wanted to kill her the moment I got away. But I didn’t. Because I knew you’d hate me for it."

I turned away, refusing to play his games.

"You can ignore me all you want," he continued. His voice grew more desperate. "Do you know how much it hurt when that silver bullet hit me? When I was bleeding out, did you feel anything? Did you want me to die that day, Kyra? Do you have nothing but hatred for me?"

I couldn’t help it. Memories came flooding back—Kieran dragging me onto his helicopter, the gunshot, the blood spreading across his shirt. Even when I was scared, I prayed he wouldn’t die. But I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of knowing that.

"Haven’t I made it clear enough? I didn’t kill your father. Your father killed my mother, so I decided to get revenge. Even with all this hatred between us, I still love you so painfully and desperately. Why won’t you come back to me? Why do you have to go to that Nathan?"

He was being ridiculous. My father was already dead. And I didn’t believe my father really killed his mother. We were over. When Kieran threatened Snow, when I found out he only wanted to marry me to get revenge on my father, I couldn’t accept love full of lies and tricks.

"Look at me!" he suddenly shouted, making me flinch. His eyes were wild now, his control slipping. "You’re mine, Kyra. You’ve always been mine, and you’ll always be mine. No matter who you sleep with, no matter who you pretend to love."

My heart raced with both fear and anger. "I belong to no one but myself."

He laughed bitterly. "We’ll see about that."

He suddenly leaned down and kissed me hard again. I tried to push him away, but he was like a dead weight on top of me. I couldn’t break free. He finished the kiss and stared at me with angry eyes. "I’ll be watching. Every moment. Every day. Remember that the next time you’re in Anderson’s arms."

I glared back at him without backing down. He chuckled and touched my cheek. "Too many people are trying to catch me lately. I’m busy running for my life. If you really reported me to the council, I’d have a hard time getting away, wouldn’t I?"

I was shocked.

"So I can’t take you with me this time. Don’t be too disappointed. Maybe next time, darling. But just remember, if you get close to Nathan again, I really don’t know what terrible things I might do. You can’t love someone else. You belong to me."

As he drove away, leaving me standing alone in the parking garage, I felt his threat settle over me. My hands were still shaking as I walked back to the elevator.

God! Can’t this just stop? Why won’t this mess end?
