Five days later.
"Whew... finally broke through."
Rorschach sat on the bed, drenched in sweat, and clenched his fist, feeling the new power surging through him.
The mental breakthrough left his mind crystal clear.
His Observation Haki range had expanded to several hundred meters in every direction. If he focused it in a single direction, it could stretch out for several kilometers.
"My Observation Haki should be about the same level as a regular Marine Vice Admiral now," he thought. "Not quite as good as the specialists, but still pretty damn solid."
Rorschach pulled up his status panel.

Rorschach nodded in satisfaction.
The boost to Observation Haki and Spirit was exactly what he expected. He had spent the last few days focusing entirely on stretching his Observation Haki range, which burned through a ton of mental energy and gave him big gains.
Training Armament Haki in front of the sailors wasn’t really an option.
Over the five days he had also tied towing ropes to the two captured pirate ships and swam while dragging them behind him. That brutal workout was what pushed both his Strength and Agility up a full sub-rank in such a short time.
It also cut the voyage from seven days down to five.
Today he would finally reach Syrup Village and complete the sign-in.
Full of anticipation, Rorschach stepped onto the deck.
The sign-in location had opened a week ago, but he hadn’t been able to reach it until now.
Looking at the island’s outline growing clearer in the distance, his heart raced with excitement.
After waiting this long, he could finally sign in again. What kind of reward would he get this time?
"Lord Rorschach, we’ll dock at Syrup Village very soon. You absolutely must come visit my home as a guest!" Charlie walked over with a big smile. "To thank you for saving my life, I’ve already ordered the servants to prepare the finest wine and food. Please don’t turn me down."
"If there’s good wine and good food, I’ve got zero reason to refuse," Rorschach replied with a grin.
The second his foot touched the ground in Syrup Village, the system prompt rang out.

Rorschach froze.
This time the rewards weren’t combat upgrades.

Suddenly, Rorschach felt eyes on him.
He instantly activated Observation Haki and turned.

A nearby bush was shaking like something had just darted inside.
Grinning, Rorschach sent a wave of malicious intent mixed with a trace of Conqueror’s Haki straight at the bush.
A long-nosed boy burst out screaming, "Pirates! Everyone run for your lives!"
It was Usopp — still in his full "lying pirate captain" phase.
Because Rorschach had mostly used malice instead of full Conqueror’s Haki, Usopp wasn’t knocked unconscious.
Charlie heard the commotion and walked over.
"Who’s that?"
"Isn’t that Banchina’s boy?"
Charlie looked at Usopp’s retreating back in confusion.
"Did he offend you, Lord Rorschach?"
"No, not at all," Rorschach chuckled and shook his head. "I just thought the guy was kinda funny."
Relieved there was no trouble, Charlie relaxed.
"That kid’s had a tough life. His father left home many years ago to become a pirate, and his mother passed away from illness two years ago."
"Anyway, Lord Rorschach, please follow me to my mansion."
After briefly telling Rorschach about Usopp, Charlie changed the subject and led him toward the largest mansion on the island.
"Welcome home, Master!"
Before they even reached the gate, two neat rows of butlers and maids were already waiting.
Among the crowd, a man wearing glasses frowned slightly.
Rorschach scanned the faces and spotted a few familiar ones.
A beautiful girl with golden shoulder-length hair and a light blue dress came running out the door.
"Daddy!"
She smiled brightly at Charlie, clearly overjoyed.
"Oh~ Kaya, have you been a good girl and listened to your mother while I was gone?"
Charlie smiled and gently patted his daughter’s head.
"Yes, Kaya has been very obedient!"
"Umm... who is this?"
After answering her father, Kaya looked curiously at Rorschach.
"Don’t be rude. This is Lord Rorschach — a powerful adventurer."
"An adventurer?"
Kaya’s eyes sparkled with interest.

His mind, however, was still locked on the new system panel.
