Chapter 27: Chapter 27

Chapter 27

North Blue

Rorschach stood on the deck holding a newspaper.

Today’s headlines were explosive.

The Fall of a Great Pirate! Legendary Pirate Shiki the Golden Lion perishes on a small island in the East Blue!

Spade Pirates Captain Ace fails to challenge Whitebeard! Now joins the Whitebeard Pirates as Second Division Commander!

Morgans’ information network was terrifyingly efficient. He probably had spies inside the Navy too.

Rorschach had already known Ace would join Whitebeard. The previous newspaper had reported his challenge.

"Rorschach, anything interesting?" Nami asked as she stepped out of the cabin, seeing him slacking off.

Rorschach shook his head. "Nothing."

"No matter how you look at it, a kingdom from a fairy tale is ridiculous. If I hadn’t seen so many crazy things with you, I wouldn’t have come along on this wild goose chase," Nami said helplessly.

Ten days ago, Rorschach had said he wanted to go to the North Blue to find a kingdom called Germa. At first, Nami and the others didn’t know much about the North Blue and thought exploring would be fun.

But after asking around locally, they learned that Germa Kingdom was a country from comic books — a fairy tale.

The girls were shocked. Rorschach actually wanted to find a kingdom that existed only in stories. It sounded impossible.

They asked for more details, and Rorschach explained that Germa 66 was a famous assassin family in the underworld. The "fairy tale" was a comic series featuring Germa 66 as the villain faction.

Rorschach then began clearing out local gangs. After sweeping several islands, he found one that had recently cooperated with Germa 66.

Following the information they provided, Rorschach finally reached this location.

"Eh, looks like we’ll have to keep searching nearby. Those damn gangs. If they tricked me, I’ll wipe out their entire families when we get back," Rorschach said, grinding his teeth in frustration. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

The gang had given an address where Germa Kingdom had been two days ago. Since Germa was a mobile kingdom, finding them wasn’t easy. But with its large size, it probably moved slowly.

Rorschach could only extend his Observation Haki and scan from high altitude, hoping to spot Germa 66. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

"Whatever. I’m going back for a beauty nap," Nami waved her hand and turned to head back to the cabin.

"Don’t~ It’s boring watching alone. Come chat with me," Rorschach grinned mischievously, grabbing Nami’s wrist and pulling her into his arms.

"It was your idea to look for Germa 66, not mine," Nami rolled her eyes. She had already gotten used to Rorschach’s clingy behavior.

And so, half a day passed. In the end, Nami couldn’t handle Rorschach’s wandering hands and fled back to the cabin in embarrassment.

"Sigh, still too young. Not open enough," Rorschach sighed, but he was satisfied. At least his relationship with Nami had progressed further.

It would be great if it was the Nami from two years later. The current Nami was already very well-developed, but still far from her future self.

"Hm? What’s that?"

While bored, Rorschach continued scanning the horizon and suddenly spotted something unusual.

In the distance on the sea, a small black dot was slowly moving.

Squinting, he saw it — the target he had been searching for: Germa Kingdom.

"Great! Finally found it. Good thing those gangsters didn’t lie," Rorschach rejoiced. Searching from the sky really was effective.

He turned and went back into the cabin to tell the girls the news.

"What? You really found it?" Karina exclaimed in shock. She hadn’t held much hope for Rorschach’s plan, but he had actually succeeded.

"That’s right. You all stay on the ship. This might be a bit dangerous."

"In that case, why not take me along? My Barrier Fruit can help you," Karina said, a bit unhappy. She felt Rorschach was underestimating her. The girls’ strengths had improved a lot since they first joined, especially her Barrier Fruit abilities.

She felt she could be counted as a combatant now, but Rorschach wanted her to stay behind on the ship. That felt like he was looking down on her.

"Be good. The enemies this time are different. Germa 66 has aerial combat capabilities. I’m worried they might try to take hostages. Stay on the ship and protect the others," Rorschach said, patting Karina’s head before turning to leave the cabin.

The only reason he was looking for Germa Kingdom was the Ark Reactor technology.

There were many people in the world capable of building it, but they were all extremely hard to find.

Germa Kingdom happened to be one place with the capability to produce Ark Reactors.

Rorschach also planned to have them create combat suits for himself and the girls, and upgrade his swords.

Although Karamatsu and Sakura Ju were already Great Grade swords, Vibranium had excellent shock absorption properties.

If he could fuse Vibranium into his twin blades, his strength would increase significantly.

Adding Vibranium to combat suits would also be great for absorbing impacts.

Dreaming of a bright future, Rorschach flew faster.

As soon as he reached the airspace above Germa Kingdom, alarms began blaring below.

They had obviously detected him — which was exactly what Rorschach wanted.

Instead of sneaking in and fighting first, it was better to have a fight and then negotiate.

Germa wasn’t a group of good people. Cooperating with them without equal strength would be suicidal.

Rorschach first needed to demonstrate his power. Only by showing overwhelming strength would they not dare to scheme behind his back.

Soon, a large number of soldiers poured out of the castle.

Following them were five figures in differently colored combat suits.

It was the ruler of Germa, Vinsmoke Judge, and his four children.

"Intruder, what is your purpose here?" Judge asked. He didn’t recognize the person, but from his aura, he wasn’t ordinary. He decided to probe first.

"I want Germa Kingdom to make some combat suits for me, and also reforge my swords."

"Oh, and by the way, can I take that pink young lady with me? I fell in love at first sight," Rorschach said with a cheeky grin.

"What a joke. Do you think Germa is your servant? You dare come here and provoke us? You must be tired of living," Judge instantly flew into a rage, veins popping on his forehead.

"Don’t get so angry. I came with sincerity. I have a research blueprint here. I can give you this technology and use it to upgrade the combat suits," Rorschach spread his hands.

"No matter what technology you bring, provoking Germa only leads to death!"

"Yeah, yeah, I know the routine. We fight first, right? Come on then," Rorschach smiled helplessly. He never expected them to agree immediately, so he stated his demands outright.

Everything would be easier to discuss after a fight.

Vinsmoke Judge was a very cowardly man. When faced with real danger, he would show his weak side. Negotiating would be much simpler then.

The premise was that Rorschach’s strength had to be greater than his.

Fortunately, Rorschach’s current strength was indeed overwhelmingly superior!
