Chapter 14
Naguri and Rorschach’s attacks clashed violently in the air. After draining every last ounce of his strength, Naguri finally shattered Rorschach’s massive sword wave.
BOOOOM!
A huge crater formed around Naguri as the shockwave slammed into the ground. He collapsed inside it, breathing heavily.
His pipe had flown off somewhere, and the wooden hammer in his hand had snapped cleanly in two.
Luffy sprinted over and helped Naguri to his feet.
Rorschach descended from the sky, his chest rising and falling rapidly. That last technique had taken a serious toll on him too.
The residents of Windmill Village poked their heads out, staring toward the forest. The massive clash had been impossible to miss.
Makino watched with deep concern.
"Rorschach!"
"Lord Rorschach!"
Nami, Karina, and Kaya ran over.
"Are you okay?" Kaya asked worriedly. Her soft white hands gently touched the red mark on his chest where Naguri’s hammer had struck.
"I’m fine. I just need a little rest," Rorschach said, gently holding her hands.
"You have to tell Kaya if you’re hurt, okay?" Kaya blushed and pulled her hands back, lowering her head shyly.
"I didn’t expect you to be this strong..." Nami and Karina looked at him with newfound respect. He and Naguri were easily the strongest people they had ever seen.
"Cough, cough. With your current strength, there aren’t many people in the Grand Line who could beat you," Naguri said as Luffy helped him out of the crater. He looked exhausted, his steps unsteady.
"Hahaha, the Grand Line is full of monsters. With my current power, I still wouldn’t last long in the New World," Rorschach laughed, scratching the back of his head.
"You won’t lose to those monsters in the future," Naguri said firmly, shaking his head.
Gurgle... Gurgle...
A loud, earth-shaking growl came from Rorschach’s stomach.
"I’m starving. Let’s head back to Goa Kingdom and grab something to eat," he suggested, rubbing his belly.
"Huh? Didn’t you just eat a ton back there? How are you hungry again?" Nami asked, dumbfounded.
"That fight used up everything I had stored," Rorschach replied with an awkward grin.
"Thank you for the lesson, old man Naguri," Rorschach waved goodbye. He picked up the three girls and flew off toward Goa Kingdom.
He waited until they were far enough away before releasing the sailboat from his Storage Space — he didn’t want to reveal that ability in front of the old pirate from Roger’s era.
Naguri watched Rorschach’s group disappear into the sky and sighed.
"Monsters just keep popping up these days..."
"Luffy, you’d better train hard. With your current strength, setting sail now would be suicide."
"Got it!" Luffy pumped his fist enthusiastically.
After watching that fight, Luffy finally realized how small his own power still was. It ignited a fierce fighting spirit in him. One day, he would stand at the very top.
It also strengthened his determination to find a swordsman for his crew.
Rorschach had no idea that this single sparring match had planted such a massive seed in Luffy’s heart. Later, when Luffy told Zoro about the fight, he would complain nonstop about how Zoro couldn’t fire off cool sword waves like that — nearly driving Zoro crazy.
Rorschach had achieved his goal of seeing the protagonist of this world. Honestly... Luffy didn’t feel all that special.
Heh. Then I’ll walk the protagonist’s path and leave you with nowhere to go. Nami and Robin are mine!
Back in Goa Kingdom, Rorschach went straight to a large hotel and found the manager.
With a heavy bribe of cash, he convinced the entire kitchen staff to cook exclusively for him. He dropped a cool 10 million berries without blinking.
The manager, of course, eagerly agreed to serve such a VIP guest.
For the next several hours, waiters constantly carried plates back and forth until the sky grew dark.
"You’re seriously like a pig in human form," Karina said, staring in disbelief. "You’ve been eating for half the day. Where does all that food even go?"
Kaya smiled gently beside him, using a handkerchief to wipe sauce off Rorschach’s face whenever it splattered.
"Dear guest... the kitchen has run out of ingredients, and the chefs are completely exhausted," the manager said, sweating nervously as he approached. "What would you like us to do?"
"Burp... That’s fine. I’m pretty full now," Rorschach said, letting out a satisfied burp.
The manager finally breathed a sigh of relief and told the chefs to rest.
He had thought this was a big order. He never expected to meet a monster who could eat like this. If this guy entered an eating competition, he’d probably bankrupt the organizers.
Still, they had made good money, so the manager didn’t complain.
Rorschach took the handkerchief from Kaya and wiped his mouth.

"Since you’re so strong, why don’t we go hunt some bounty targets here in Goa Kingdom?"
"Look, you eat way too much. That one meal alone cost ten million berries. If you keep spending like this, we’ll run out of money and starve. We need a steady income!"

"If that’s what you want, you must already have a plan, right Karina?" Rorschach asked, lightly rubbing his chin.
"Leave it to me," Karina replied with a confident smile.
